Overall pleasant look to the facility but upon closer look cups still were dirty, dust and bugs in window frames, menu was sticky. Our server never checked on us she was way overworked. All of the food was cold like it had been sitting for awhile. My order was put in wrong so I had to wait for it to be made but by the time it came out my family was done eating. On the plus side it was very hot! They need more help and a better system to get food from downstairs kitchen to upstairs. read more

It's a really cute place in Oakley, has a full bar, and a full menu unlike some of the other locations. Tonight I ordered a salad and added cheese, there were clumps of hard cheese. I pushed a few clumps off and tried to eat it anyway I hate complaining at restaurants- and I got a mouthful of hard old, cheese. Inedible. I told the server, he was a sweet younger guy.. he had the salad remade. Instead of apologizing however he told me "ya the chef said the cheese was freshly grated today- I told him to feel it (as I had done with the waiter) and he was like oh ya that's a hard piece." Anyway, everything else was okay until my bill came and we were charged $36 for a one topping pizza which on the menu is $29.75. I brought it to the waiters attention. He told the manager and came back saying the manager told him they have a glitch when they do half cheese it automatically goes to the 5+ toppings price. Horrible service & awful food! So completely disappointed in Skipolinis this evening. We had a party of 8 & almost $300 later it was one of the worst dinners we've had locally in a long time! We ordered 3 individual or medium pizzas, 2 burgers, garlic bread, a couple of salads and beer. I don't even know where to start. Our waitress was awful and was rarely seen. One of our pizzas didn't come out until we were leaving after she claimed it "was dropped" and they had to make a new one...not really buying it, I'm sure she never added it to our order beings it took us asking for it for her to mention that. The burgers were gross, completely greasy (not juicy) on stale buns. The pizzas now seem to be made with disgusting fake cheese and overly salty crust. We had to ask multiple times for water which took forever to come. We ordered a pitcher of beer which only came when we asked for it a second time and when we asked for a second pitcher we were told we'd get fresh chilled glasses which we thought was a nice touch...yeah never came! Bomb ass pizza just like the Antioch location except newer. The pick up pizza door in the back was cool but I wish someone would have told me before I got there and had to walk around to find out. Ordered chicken marsala from the oakley restaurant for pickup today. Very disappointed with what I was given. The menu claims that the chicken is lightly battered and served with mashed potatoes. I knew I should have checked before paying but I trusted that they would provide what they advertise....wrong! What I got was a piece of chicken that looked and tasted as if it was boiled and instead of mashed potatoes, they gave me pasta. No one mentioned it and I assumed I'd get the mashed potatoes. Went to the Oakley location yesterday afternoon around 2pm 12/30, been going to skips in Antioch but not only was the vegitarian pizza with white sauce to go not very good or comparable to the Antioch location, as we sat down waiting and had a drink, the menu's where like glue sticky and the place just seems dirty. You can see all the dirt and dust flying in the air and on the floor? I can't seem to find a way to email about my experience. This is not the Ipsen's standards of years past we are use to. 1 server doesn't help things either, but thats not my immediate issue since there where only maybe 6 customers. As far as the pizza, since we both didn't like it. Suprised actually. We tried making a white garlic sauce and are thinking of ways to doctor is up, but when my girl said this morning it's a shame that places like Papa Murphys now makes a much better pizza than skipolinis, I can't have that without writing them, but since there is no feedback to contact them directly I had to do it here. I thought skips was just a pizza place but this one in oakley feels like fine dining. Two bars including the out door sky bar upstairs. Skips is gonna make that area the new downtown spot just like how downtown Brentwood is just starting to pop off. Torrano triplets are always a delight. read more

Came in yesterday (1/2/22) for Sunday lunch with a few friends, we were seated almost immediately after proof of vaccinations which was wonderful. The waitress who I have forgotten the name of but had straight black hair in a ponytail was super sweet and lovely but she seemed like talking to her co workers and others were more important than attending to our table. She forgot to bring us multiple items and I noticed she never rang in our beer. The wonderful young man who brought us our food was nice enough to apologize on behalf of the waitress and said she was busy for our items never being brought (even though only a few tables were present) and went to go get them right away, the food was excellent! will be back in hopes of a more fun experience. read more

This review is based mainly on customer service. I had called in for an order but ended up getting locked outside of my house. Long story short I call in because It had been exactly an hour since I placed my order and explained that I would like to get a fresh order. The girl on the phone said she would check to see if it had been made already. She then said if its already made then I'll have the chef remake it if not then it might be ready when you get here. She gets back on the phone and says it's just finishing up and should be ready now. I'm thinking if I called and was told the order would be ready in 17-18 min and a whole hour later your telling me it's just coming out?? I live less than a mile away So I head down to pick up my lukewarm pizza. The server didn't even think it was my pizza sitting out the counter with the curbside window wide open cooling it down even more. When I first told her my name She looked at the pizza box picked it up, sat it down and then went to the back only to return and hand me the same box that had been sitting for about 35 minutes. My biggest issue is the fact that you chose to lie over and over for a small pizza.. are the margins that tight?? Placed an on line order , the order was accepted and I was given a pick up time. Went to the restaurant at the designated time and they said they just found the order and I'd have to wait 15-20 minutes for it. Was also given a very insincere "sorry about that" with a shoulder shrug. They didn't have a delay in charging my card though. Not the first time I've had trouble with ordering from them (convenient to my home) but it will be the last. Other nearby restaurants who care about customer service I'll support. The food was good but the customer service was horrible. I went to eat with my family and we were originally told a 30 min wait. After waiting 45 mins we went to check on the table since we didn't get a call. The host told us he would check if it was open. He proceeded to do that 2 more times from there. After the 3rd time he said the table was ready but the previous party is still sitting there, it was just waiting for them to leave the table at this point . Upset and hungry we continued to wait a couple mins until my husband began to speak with the host to find a solution as our baby was fussy from being hungry. Finally we were offered to sit outside in a shaded area. My husband was still a little upset abt the situation and spoke with the manager. After speaking with my husband the Manager offered 2 plates of wings, which we were very happy and thankful for but never came back to the table to check in on us after that to establish that customer & manager relationship. Our server was not the best either. He rarely came to check in on us but we could see him being more attentive to other tables. As we tried to order we did have a couple questions regarding the menu and to confirm that manager was comping wings for the table he took so long just to get back to the table delaying ordering. So disappointed!!!! I Ordered 4 pizzas, wings, and a salad for takeout. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived to pick up my order at the 30 minute window, paid for my order, and waited another 20 minutes and still it wasn't ready. . Rang the bell and asked how much longer and I was told my order was given to somebody else!! If I wanted my order I would have to wait at least 30 more minutes. So I opted for a refund. Well, looking at the other recent bad reviews it seems that bad service is a common thread and my review will be no different. We came in last Sunday afternoon for lunch and after we ordered our meals it took 20 minutes just to get the bread appetizer. This was just the baked bread with olive oil and vinegar dip. After that came we got all of our entrees except my brother's calzone. The waitress said it would only be a few moments until it was finished cooking. We didn't see her again for 30 minutes! No drink refills! No update on the Calzone! NOTHING!! I had to go look for her to get ask where the calzone was. When I found her she said it would be right out. Nothing for another 15 minutes. Everyone else was done eating and my brother is a good sport and filled up on bread and what my nephews didn't finish so we decide to cancel the calzone and go! At this point I had to go in to go look for her AGAIN. And again, I couldn't find her! They were not understaffed, there were about 4 or 5 other waitresses working ours just seamed to have vanished. So I asked the nice hostess to please take the calzone off the tab and bring me my check. When the waitress shows up to give me the check there is only a slight "sorry for the mix up" when I asked if the calzone was taken off the bill. No "we feel really bad" or "we took the drinks or the appetizer off your bill" just "meh sorry". Well I'm sorry but we will not be going back again. The waitstaff is BAD and needs management to train them better. No one should have to cancel or take their food to go as so many others on this page have had to do and pay the prices that Skips charges. read more

They have always been good with pizza but we decided to try a pasta dish and tried the chicken piccata. Was worse than horrible. The pasta looked like it had been sitting on the plate for a week.
