We walked in before our annual New Year's Day beach walk and were greeted by smiles and "Happy New Year" greetings from the owners. It was clean and a big shop with plenty of seating. The donuts are traditional, nothing flashy like the trend seems to be towards "artisanal" donuts. When we walked up to the counter the oWner offers donut holes to my kids right away. We ordered our donuts and found that he also added an extra donut hole to each bagged donut. It's small gestures like this from family owned businesses that really stand out to me. At first I was highly upset because i had to park and walk due to the streets being closed off for the 4th of July parade. I'm so happy that I made that i did! Their croissant is to die for and their donuts are massive. The only downside is that they only accept cash and that is it. My daughter is a barista, and she advised that her mocha was very good. But what put this place over the top was the staff. So polite, so friendly. Really makes you want to come back. Even at 9 am on a Sunday the place was fully of people waiting to receive their pink box of deliciousness! Sk's donuts have a wide variety of donuts available. They were delicious and tasted fresh as in that morning, and at $7.95 including tax for a dozen donuts I would highly recommend Sk's donuts!!! It is cash only so be prepared. We've made visiting this donut shop our tradition for years and today's visit just topped all the others - which was saying a lot because we already enjoyed it so much. First off, the Donuts are always so fresh, and the Crossiant sandwiches are so incredibly good and they give such a generous amount of meat. Today, we took our kids in with us and she was so patient with each of them as they gave her their order - she then topped our box with donut holes - and she threw in an extra donut because it had broken when she was trying to fill their request.
