Mom's manicure, teal. She has two gel nails that have fallen, they fell like the 4th day she got it.

It was my to go spot, but now I don't know. I just got my manicure gel about a week ago on Friday March 20th and the gel is all GONE! I usually have gone in the mornings and it's extremely packed. This time I went afternoon with my mom. It was a birthday gift to her, and I was hyping the place up. My nail technician was super nice, friendly... but finished my nails in like 10 min... I think that's why the gel didn't stick. I have been going to this place for a while now and even though I don't go as often, the times I've gone I've never had this issue. Even if I washed dishes my nails would last. I'm disappointed in the quality. He did it very quickly like he was running out of time... I didn't expect my gel nails to only last a week. I barely even did any house work so they could last. Now my toe nails, they are still looking very good, they aren't even gel... and I wear mostly shoes. The nail technician that did my pedicure was PERFECT. She took her time to take out the dirty stuff and the hangnails, she took her time and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would go to her again for my toe nails. My mom manicure gel are falling as well, but not like mine. Hers are lasting a little longer than mine. I recommend going in the morning's probably. I'm just not happy that my gel nails have fallen and it's only been a week. Plus $5 per nail color... I mean it's a rip off if I'm going to have this problem of not being able to keep the gel nails longer than a week. I posted a picture of my mom's gel nails. Two of them fell in less than 4 days and she had to paint them a light blue so her nails wouldn't look weird. This was her first time coming here. The place she usually goes to and gets her gel nails last her more than 2 weeks. The quality of this place is going down.

I started coming here bc of my friend Yoli! She recommended me. Started coming in to get my toes first then I decided to get my natural nails done. Did not disappoint! The vibe is always nice, it's nice and cool, the tv is always on. It's nice to end your Friday night here :) highly recommend! Also they always give you a little water bottle :,) & the rice cakes are my fav! lol Will be booking my acrylic set soon! Stay tuned! :)

Another wonderful day at Sky Nail! I got a beautiful gel manicure, and everyone in the salon was so friendly and welcoming. The technicians are highly skilled, and they did an amazing job. My nails turned out beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the result!

This is my second time come to this shop and I took my sister with me this time. Love the new color that recommended by the manager. The people here are friendly and very patient.

I just got my nails done last week and one of them already fell off. I went back hoping they would simply fix that one nail, but they refused and insisted that I pay for an entirely new full set. Very disappointing customer service and no effort to stand behind their work. A nail should not be falling off after only a week, and fixing a single nail should not require purchasing a whole new set. I would not recommend this salon. Save your time and money and avoid this place.

I've been coming to this salon for quite some time now, and I truly love it here. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming from Steven, Mai, Ana, Tina, Cody at the front, and honestly everyone in the salon. You can really feel the good energy as soon as you walk in. My daughter loves getting her little manicure here too, and they're always so patient and sweet with her. It's become our favorite self-care spot. Thank you, Mai, for always making my nails look beautiful -- they're so strong and healthy now, and I get compliments all the time! Highly recommend ! mom approved and worth every visit.

I use to love this place. Until 2 months ago. I got an infection on my feet and my fingers. My feet still haven't healed and my finger is getting worse. I'm On my way! To the dermatologist right now. It's a fungal infection. Please note that the nails I have on the photos were done by me. Not the salon. I had to do them myself because I can not go to another salon with an infection. The infection happened at sky nails 2 months prior that still has not healed.

I got a Japanese gel pedicure here today and I'm very satisfied! The staff was friendly and patient, and they paid great attention to detail. My toes look so clean, shiny, and beautiful. The salon was also very clean and relaxing. I'll definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

I went twice do my manicure and pedicure so far I'm satisfied and love this place. The staff are really friendly and pleasant and Tina is doing for my manicure, she is super detail oriented & patiently doing art on my nails to match the picture that I showed it to her and came out with the same exactly what I want it in the picture. I'm so glad that finally I found the right place to go, so many nails salon I went back n forward but couldn't find the right person to do so Now here you go I found the right person to do my manicure also Steven , he is the one do my pedicure, he is so patiently to remove my stubborn dry skin by scrubbing and remove the callus and now feel smooth n soft with a nice good looking happy feet

I had overgrown cuticles on my toes. And needed a good trim esp bc I have ingrown toes nails. I read the review for this place and liked everything I read so I called asked with they accept card or only cash. They accept card, cash, Zelle, Venmo. And asked how much for mani/pedi. 45/23 ballpark depending on regular or gel. So I went. Love their spa chairs. Very sweet. Above all communicative. Asked me if I liked it this way or that way. I picked white(don't ever pick white) lol should have gone with brown. But it is what it is. They just had to do more work bc of the color lol. Loved the gentleness with my toes bc I'm sensitive. Cleaned it up real good. With my hands he paid attention to much much detail. And if it was off he would did it all over again. Very kind to talk too. Definitely would back. I tipped well bc I loved the results. read more

Steven has been amazing with my acrylic French tip. I've called several nail salons and most did not do acrylic anymore just gel x. And I really love acrylic and Steven has been awesome and gave me recommendations on different shades of pink for my French tip. The good: I can only comment for their pedicure service as that is the only thing I come here for. Lucy always does a great and thorough job. She is gentle and attentive. Prices are decent. The ugly: you can be waiting for a while depending on when you scheduled your appointment due to overbooking. It's like this at every nail salon I have ever been to :( Just be mindful of that. read more

Loved this place! Was a little scared to try a new nail spot but so glad I did! They've been very accommodating when I call for an appointment and I love how my nails turn out. I came here with 3 broken natural nails (2 were a little deep) and I thought they weren't salvageable but the tech did an awesome job! They have lots of colors to choose from. I was lucky enough to find Sky Nails (San Fernando location) right away after relocating to LA a few year ago. Every three weeks on the dot, I made my visit to see Kody, Mai, and Lucy. They recently moved location to El Monte and I've remained loyal because they're absolutely worth the trek every three weeks still! I like what I like, so I make that (up to an hour, at times) drive each way to see them- Mai, Lucy, Tina, and Kody of course. Doesn't matter who does my nails, I'm happy and pleased every time! I trust no one else with my nails so please don't move any further away! read more

Second time coming to this new nail spot and do not regret it! This nail place is clean and staff if very friendly. Got my nails done by Tina because she does an AMAZING job. Super polite and takes her time. Always ensures I am satisfied and comfortable! In my French tip era and she nails it every time. Originally I had done Gel-X but Tina recommended since I like my nails short to try the gel builder. They have such a wide variety of services, colors and designs! Also has decent pricing! This was my first time at Sky Nails, I was referred by a coworker. All the staff were very friendly, I had a pedicure with Mai. She was fabulous and did a fantastic job!! The place I used to go to started rushing through all their services when they moved to a larger location & I just didn't feel they put any love into it any more. I've been coming to Sky Nails for pedicures for the last 7 months. The pedicures have always been very good and consistent. I've always left happy and satisfied. The salon is very clean and feels good to be in. Everyone who works here is kind and I always leave feeling cared for. I'll continue coming to Sky Nails for pedicures as long as they are open. I'm grateful for a local nail place that is consistently great. Parking is easy and usually plentiful. Starbucks drive thru is located in the same plaza if you want to grab a drink first. read more

Back in January I brought my mom in for a gel mani and regular pedi. (1/13/24) and two months later her nails look like this! no chipping what so ever just a little damaged on the tips since she flips tortillas lol !! She also cleans without gloves and uses harsh chemicals like Clorox and Ajax. First time here and sent a request via yelp for service asking for price and appointment times available. Kody was kind enough to answer all my questions in a timely manner even though the request was sent at night time! We kept messaging the next day and set an appt time. I had made the appt for my moms birthday, & had a bit of an odd request to pay for the service remotely via Zelle as I live in Sacramento & felt it was more thoughtful as opposed to giving her money to get her nails done. I also wanted it to be as stress free as possible (my mom is Spanish speaking only). She got the Gelx set with gel polish French tip and a design! The price was affordable and she was overjoiced and so happy with this set. She said she had such a great experience and they took their time + were gentle with her hands & did such clean work! & plans to come back regularly. AMAZING! Don't go anywhere else you'll regret it. The woman who did my pedicure was so sweet and gentle with me but still very thorough! And the price was great. Today as I'm about to leave for my trip one of my nails broke. I called and asked if they could at least give me a partial refund because I can't go back to get it fixed anymore and the lady said no. She offered to fix them but she didn't want to understand that I don't have time to go back. I needed my nails for my trip that I'm literally about to leave to. This is honestly unprofessional and there's no reason why the nails should be breaking a couple of days or even a week after being done. I do not recommend this place and this is the last time I go here. My nails have never broken within a week or days after being done. I also feel that a partial refund is reasonable.

I've been coming here since they opened at this location in 2023 and to say as a male both Kody and Mai (the owners) make this place very welcoming, Kody always makes sure that you're getting taken care of as well as offering waters and really good candies. I had came in for pedicure but I asked if they worked with ingrowns and he set me up right away with Tina which was amazing! She did an awesome job with taking care of them without hurting me I could not stop thanking her! She left my toes looking fresh and clean! I haven't gotten a pedicure done from anyone else or anywhere else she really knows her stuff! I also do come for manicures every other week and I'd say everybody here does a good job taking care of me with that. I'd also recommend their scrub they have for both hands and feet it works really good for dry skin just a personal opinion. But overall 5 STARS!!! Hello! I have been coming here since they opened up the shop, me and my family had just moved into the area off of Baldwin so found it great that I had a nearby nail salon. I now recently relocated to San Bernardino and just gave birth in September (new time mommy here) I don't have much free time on my hands to pamper myself im you can imagine a new born changes things so when my husband suggested it was time for some "me time" I couldn't deny. At first I was nervous not knowing how my son will do even though I had my husband there to watch him, they made me feel so comfortable reassuring me that if I needed some time to step away for feeding or diaper change it was perfectly fine. This was my second time visiting this nail salon, so glad that they still do acrylic nails and didn't try to force me to do gel x like other salons I've been too. I've had bad experience with gel x nails from other salons. Lucy started my nails and did a wonderful job shaping them and getting them to look how I wanted. Then Mai took over and finished with my design. They look better than the pictures I showed her I wanted and I've gotten so many compliments on them already.
