This place is a total scam. They get you to sign up for the membership and when you try to cancel its practically impossible. When we called mentioning we were having trouble canceling online and if they could just cancel it they said they couldn't and provided us instructions how to do it online that was again impossible. We had to resort to emailing them and they said they couldn't refund us and could have one month free of jump time since we were already charged. Um NO!!!! In the end we had to resort to disputing the charge with our credit card company. An experience like this leaves such a sour taste- waste of our valuable time. read more

Kyle - The employee who posted on my last review is full of @$@/ - still, no team members ever reached out, when contacted. You've had MONTHS to respond, we were super kind in our outreach. This place is AWFUL. Do NOT sign up for their "cancel any time" membership. They will not cancel it, when requested. They will not respond to any calls, emails etc. this company is run by shady folks. Only person we managed to speak to was a remote worker who deals with events. He was unable to anything. It took FIVE MONTHS of attempting to contact this company to cancel two "cancel anytime" memberships. We disputed it with Amex, since we have proof of our attempts to cancel this thing. They are rude. Very discriminatory against people with disability. I disabled with a small medical alert dog and was not allowed to go near the play grounds even holding g my dog and sitting on couch watching my grand kids. The staff were extremely rude. The wait was long and the 37 dollars for 2 hours is outrageous plus they make you buy their socks even though your kids have appropriate socks on. DO NOT GO . Waste of money read more

Good morning everyone I would never go to this place again the way that I see the manger treated this African-American customer/member that had children's with him luckily, I got to see his name tag Ryan the manager because he had on a black shirt the worker was so unprofessional he need to go before he get into the altercation with the member, he was walking around with a mad face and also not helping the employees with the inventory that they received or not assisting people when they need help even seen him jump over the fence when it was not even an emergency never seen him pick up anything to clean just to tell the worker to take a break I guess because another worker full the spot I have 3 family and friends that comes to your establishment almost everyday they way how he conductor self in the business establishment is unacceptable. The customer service is bad and the employees are rude. In addition, I canceled my children's membership over 6 months ago and they continued to charge my account for 6 months after cancellation. When I called to advised them, their manager, Ryan N., told me he couldn't do anything. He referred me to their corporate email instead of being a customer friendly process as a paying customer. Traveled about an hour to get here. CON: The check in process takes FOREVER!! Once you get to the desk, the staff is so friendly but they need to more conscious when there's a line. Several people behind me were also complaining about the line and how long it was taking. There needs to be more stations to fill out waivers BEFORE you get checked in. All of the vending machines were out of order. Thankfully they have a drinking fountain. Overall, lots of fun. You'd think I'd never step foot in here again. Well, I have a daughter, and she makes me the biggest push over ever. She wanted her 5th birthday here and after offering many other offerings, she had her mind set on this. So we agreed and held her birthday here. Well, from a party perspective without the membership hassle, I can report that everything went smoothly, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter had an amazing time and 6 months later, still wants her next birthday there. So, I felt it necessary to update my review based on this experience. Sky Zone, bring consistency to your business. Surely if you can run a smooth and enjoyable party, your corporate office can get the membership issue down. I work as a software developer. It is not that hard to integrate a profile in your website that allows people to manage their account and membership. This sort of transparency and control given to customers makes them happier. Marcel at the fro t desk is the sweetest most helpful person!!! We signed up for a membership since it's basically same cost as one jumping session. It's a little busy on weekends hence the 4 stars but they manage it well despite being over crowded and they kept it safe. Bathrooms not a 5 star either but fine. My kids love it here & the whole shopping plaza has improved over the course of the past few years. You can definitely go and make a day of it! Come Here For Services Promised But Not Rendered We planned a birthday here for 47 people and asked for the biggest spot available. They gave us barely enough space for kids and some adults - we had about 20 adults having to stand to eat. We asked for the food and party favors to be brought to the reserved room. We ended up doing it ourselves, going up and down a long flight of stairs ... with our guests pitching in to help. The server was supposed to setup the food and utensils. We ended up doing all of it. We told the server, in advance, about setting up party decorations which we had provided in a bag, but she (Stephanie) failed to do so because "the guy who was supposed to help me didn't ". This server was unorganized, rude, and snarky. We ordered drinks and food and they didn't have enough plates and utensils. Thankfully, we had brought our own which they unashamedly used up. Immediately after the cake was passed out, before I can take a single bite, these con artists were asking me to close out the tab and clean up; of course that's what we did after they forced us to tip them $100 for services not rendered. This service was terrible and I would never recommend this dump to anyone. Stay miles and miles away unless you're a gluten for abuse, pain, and of course ... SERVICES NOT RENDERED! We came previously for a birthday party and daughter decided she wanted to have her birthday party here as well. Booking online is really easy. I booked the highest package to get the 2 hours of jump time and it came with a pizza for every 5 kids and 2 kinds of soda (free refills). I wasn't sure how many kids would be coming but I booked the minimum knowing I could update it later. I received a call a few days prior to my event to confirm the details - which was a plus. On the day of, everyone was so great! Check in was easy and they already had the party area set up. Jumping area is large and so many different areas to enjoy. It can be overwhelming and a lot of kids but because it's so large, it's not too bad. What's cool is you're allowed to walk around the jumping area, even if not jumping, and keep an eye on your child. There are even couches all around to sit and relax. There is a person assigned to your party to help with the event after the jumping is done. The gentleman helping was awesome - he was so friendly and helped with everything (serving the kids pizza, setting up the cupcake to blowout candles, clean up etc.). It can seem pricey but when you realize what you get and how much fun the kids have, it's a great deal. Will definitely be back. read more

Pros: my kids have a blast coming here! There is SO much to do! From the trampolines to the various obstacle courses and VR type stuff, it's incredibly fun and will keep the kids entertained for hours. Cons: It can get really busy and can be a free for all. Sometimes, kids can roughhouse, and the staff are all really young and not always on top of it. I'm never one to police other people's children, and some parents are just absent and staff isn't on top of the wild kids. The pricing model is rough. It costs more to go there for the day than it does to get a membership. So they hook you into getting a membership, which you never remember to cancel. And conveniently, you can't cancel when you're there. You have to do it online. And when you do it online, you need your membership number. And who remembers that? So you spend an exorbitant amount of time figuring all of this out to cancel. The pricing model is smart for the business but a death trap of never ending membership for the consumer. I took my kids and their friends and ended up getting 5 memberships, which rolled for 5 months until I finally put aside the two hours to get all of this together and cancel online. read more

Their children height water fountain is totally broken and has been flashing that the filter needs to be changed for months. The water from the sink in the bathroom is scalding hot and has no cold option. The facility seem to be in slow decline. Someone needs to do some serious maintenance here. They also closed the men's room for the night and wouldn't let children use the women's room even when nobody was in it. Nobody could use the bathroom or wash their hands. I think the people to who work here need to be reminded that their primary customer is children. Unclean, unsafe, uncaring. The 17 year olds that run the place need adult supervision. read more

We have a 2yo who loves to jump so we decided to see how she would enjoy Sky Zone and man was it a huge hit! The first time we went school was out which I didn't know so it was packed at 11:30 am and line was huge for check in so we almost didn't stay since she doesn't handle waiting well lol. Once we got in we had a good time but there were a lot of older kids who fly by running around and would bounce quickly on same trampoline my daughter was using so she fell a few times confused by what happened. Tip if you have little ones...try to go right when they open so it's less crowded. We did get membership and now go right when they open around 9 and try to aim for weekdays so it's not crowded at all. She loves being able to explore and run all over and it's great for getting energy out as well. Overall good spot for some fun for the kids! read more

We are members at Sky Zone, but we are thinking about canceling. It is a just an ok place. 1. Trampolines: The trampolines are fun, but sometimes it gets overcrowded. Tons of kids are there and the noise makes me stressed and anxious. 2. Those Private Parties: Sometimes the manager closes the entire location for a few hours because of parties and other events. Our membership is advertised as, "Unlimited Jumps! Jump anytime! Play everyday!" When we came there one day, they wouldn't let us in because of the private party! "Excuse me? we are PAYING for a MEMBERSHIP!" I told an employee outside. But he would NOT let us in! So I emailed the manager. When he responded, he wouldn't try to help solve this conflict. Overall, I am disappointed with Sky Zone Thousand Oaks. The next time we see another private party, we are going to ask to cancel our membership. read more

Super fun trampoline park! Many options to choose of things to enjoy. Dodge ball, basketball, rock wall, obstacle course, zip lines, foam pits to name a few. The price is also super affordable. My son and his friend had endless this past week. Facilities are large and in a nice shopping area. There's also a few arcade games tinplate for extra fun and entertainment. We were customer here for years, and as many people here are noting, this place has completely gone down the hill, and it is turned into a steaming pile of shit. They are rude, unfriendly, and any other adjective you can think of in terms of poor customer service. The manager, Kyle gonzalez is so scared and petrified into doing his job that he just stands there like a bozo and will not help people. I had to waste 30 minutes of me and my children's time arguing with them about a policy that they don't have in writing they don't have them print and it's blatantly discriminatory. They refuse to help us and connect us with corporate when asked over a matter of socks that we already had. My guess like everybody else is this place will not be in business within a year's time. They kept hard-selling the monthly membership, which is actually cheaper than getting a 90-minute pass, which is bonkers, but we made the mistake of the membership before and showed up too many times where the wait was so long that we had to leave. It's ran by teens, that do a good job, at running the register and keeping kids safe, but when they aren't doing that they need to clean, vacuum etc... or hire a cleaning crew. I love taking the kids that I nanny for. For the most part it's well maintained however --- a few of the safety mats along the hard edges are in DESPERATE need of repair. I was using the trapeze with the kids I work with - I didn't have a good grip and unintentionally did a "back swing." My shins smashed along the "padded" edge. The edge is rock hard and all of the padding has shifted below the edge. Truth be told I did not see the "no back swing" sign, so it was my fault however in the case of ACCIDENTS - where a person may slip off the edge (its challenging to reach for the trapeze to begin with) or if there was an accidental slip of the hands off the trapeze someone could be SERIOUSLY injured. I mentioned the need for repair to the manager and the immediate and continued response was "that's why it says no backswing." Again I understand I am at fault here but if there is padding there then there is obviously an assumption that accidents can happen there and the padding NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED. read more

I had my daughter's party here over the weekend and had this issue. During the initial party check-in, I let the girl know we might have a few extra people showing up and she advise me that we could add them now, and if they don't we can refund at the closeout. We ended up having close to half the party not show up and instead of a refund for those kids, they offered us passes. We have memberships already with them so those passes are essentially useless to us. I understand you guys need to make money but don't try to upsell a guest list with a promised refund if that is not something you can provide. Let alone this is our THIRD birthday party with them and you think they would be accomodating to a repeat client..... read more

Our kids were invited to a birthday party hosted at this facility. We only had a positive experience. We've been to several of these indoor playground businesses from classmate birthday parties through the years. Defy may have been the best one we've visited. Despite the huge size, the building felt very clean. Trampolines didn't show any wear and tear; there were no dirty elements. Bathrooms were also clean. During Covid, they continually came on the loudspeaker to remind people to wear masks. Our birthday party was upstairs and it was a big, easy spot to host a lot of kids and parents in one place. Staff were really friendly and helpful. One woman hosted a dodgeball competition twice with the young kids and somehow, amazingly pulled it off successfully, which I didn't think was possible. I cannot mention prices because it was free for us as party guests. My son wants to return and based on all the great activities, I want to take him for a few hours. This is the best Sky Zone location I've ever been to. First and foremost, it's clean and new, and there's absolutely no stank anywhere, not even in the foam pits! Secondly, the kids on staff are responsible and actually seem to care about the work they do. And thirdly, it's a nice crowd. Kids are running around rambunctiously as you'd expect; but parents are involved overseeing their kids, and there wasn't a single injury or negative incident of any kind. It's a great spot for parties, for kids and adults alike. I'm looking forward to returning at opening time and running though a half-hour workout of my own. read more
