Leasing agent who I think is also property manager is very shady, he was insisting and was very persistent for me to send him my bank statements with account number and routing numbers on it, which is very, very strange thing to ask for from a new perspective tenants, I went ahead with different place provided them bank statements with redacted acc numbers and they didn't had no issues with it, this place is very shady be careful. read more

I moved in a few months ago and I love this building. I have never felt more safe, secure and happy. I feel this place is well taken care of always clean and I love it honestly. The gym is nice and I love it, the rec room is so cool! Adam is very helpful (the agent in front) he has always been helpful since I moved in and kind. I also like the Amazon hub locker because it keeps packaging more safe. Our mail is safe & I just love this property. Blessed to be apart of this community. read more

From the moment we stepped in the building we knew it was our next apartment. Not only cause of the layout of the building and our apartment, but because of the convinces they have in the entire building. They have parking, an Amazon delivery lockbox, codes and key fobs to get in and out of the building, tremendous AC, two elevators you can't move without the fobs (great for anyone that's not supposed to be there), two trash locations with recycling (rare out here from what I've seen), a weight room, a rec room with computers and a pool table, a patio with a grill and furnishing, and a ton of great people within the building. The best guy though? Adam McGuire, your leasing agent. This dude is the most caring, friendly, hard working guy outta this entire building. He makes sure your stay is as comfortable and smooth as humanly possible. You will catch him roaming around the building checkin on everything, in his office doing paperwork, and even setting up events for tenants to have a good time and mingle!! If you have a problem in this complex, Adam will get it solved. Their maintenance crew is fantastic and have fixed everything that needed repair without having to come back multiple times. It's a one and done typa job. Everyone who works here is super friendly and they keep the place clean and looking nice with all the flower beds outside your doors! They make it feel like home! Your elevators in the building can be wonky, but it's mainly due to other tenants horsing around in it. You'll see random spills, receipts left behind, etc. it's nothing bad and it's never a mess. Just something I needed to point out. As a former tenant, I would completely recommend SkyLA as your new home! We had an amazing year, and if I didn't need to be closer to LA, would have stayed for years! read more

We only lived at SkyLA for 6 months but we enjoyed our time there. Our 2 bed/2ba unit was very spacious with each room having its own walk in closet. The building also provided an assigned parking spot with EV charging. Above all, the best part of SkyLA is the on-site property manager Adam! He is not only friendly but also incredibly attentive and responsive. You can tell he really cares about the apartment community and does his best to address tenant needs and make improvements. He is hands down the best property manager we have ever had the pleasure to meet! Thanks Adam for making us feel taken care of during our time at SkyLA! read more

I lived here for just over two years and had a pleasant experience. Adam, the building manager, is very nice and attentive to his tenants. It's in a decent location if you like to be near parks and golf but can get frustrating if you have to commute to LA/Hollywood for any reason, but only because of LA traffic. My only complaint about the building is that it can be hard to get out of the parking garage as it's located on a busy road with street parking which can make it hard to see out. read more

For starters, I'd like to state the obvious by saying. Adam is hands down the best building manager I've ever had the pleasure of working with not only within SkyLA's community, but period. (Sapir was also exceptional. *One time I was stuck in the elevator, and she legit muscled her way in so I didn't have to wait til dispatch arrived. She's was, and still is my hero. (: ) He's professional, personable, reliable, and exudes the kind of care you sorta either have, or don't. He's so good at his job that there have been interim fill ins, and it just isn't the same. No exaggeration, I've waited til he's gotten back to tend to something because the level of aptitude just isn't the same. Since Adam has been appointed to SkyLA, even the property has improved. The back patio is decked out with aesthetically pleasing lights creating a level of ambiance that makes you actually want to utilize the space. The gym received new additions which for me was a game changer because, I work from home as a personal trainer. The building itself is now maintained better than ever. Work orders don't take forever, and a day to be attended to, or in the least acknowledged. Interactive announcements, general updates, and get togethers are organized, and posted in an attempt to bring the building and residents closer together. In all seriousness, this place wouldn't be what it is without his hard work + dedication. Anyway, enough about Adam... LOL The artwork in the enclosures are so greatly appreciated with many of them promoting positivity, and feel good messages to send you on your way. IYKYK. The second floor offers a beautiful plethora of greenery that I swear when you walk by offers a sense of serenity. The lobby offers (I wanna say Amazon.) lockers, so you have the comfort of not having your stuff stolen, or just sitting there out in the open. Because a fob is required to get anywhere other than ground level in the elevator, it offers a sense of security considering you're stuck without it. The maintenance along with cleaning crew (lady) is top notch. & they (Moss & Company) GET THIS even go as far as making it smell good within the property. & I'm not referring to those glade thingies that spray aerosol that may, or may not accidentally spray you in the process. Like, they legit hired somebody to make this happen. For example, in the gym there's a contraption that keeps it from getting funktified up in there. I'm here for it. I'm here for SkyLA. read more

I lived here for almost 4 years and during the pandemic/lockdown - was one of the first to move in when the building was brand new and the pool table and gym was awesome. The plants and palms in the courtyard are a nice touch. Once the Amazon lockers were added, package reception was a lot better. The only thing it's missing is a pool and trash shoot. I always wondered if they could do something cool with the rooftop. read more

I lived in in sky LA for one year . And the apartment that in front of the Sepulveda BLVD is super noisy and you can't leave the balcony door Open ever. I am there is a lot of homeless and sketchy people around the block. and the management doesn't give you the 30 day notice when your lease it end. read more

Scheduled a tour for 2 PM & drove an hour to come view. Nobody will answer the phone or the door. Extremely unprofessional

I cannot stress this enough -- unless you can afford the penthouse floor of this complex, you will want to avoid this place. I'm a current resident living on the 2nd floor (first floor level of apartments) and I can hear the conversation of the people living *two floors* above me. This building was built with absolutely no insulation, so as two people not making enough money to cover a $2700+ rent per month, we are subjected to listening to our neighbors and their every single move. Since the tenants above me moved in last June I have slept with ear plugs every single night and am still woken up the majority of the time. Not only do these residents not give a single damn about their neighbors, but both on-site upper management AND the Moss & Company corporate office don't do a single thing about it. They don't enforce the quiet hours outlined in their contract and they don't bother responding to their tenants that reach out with an issue to try and resolve it. And finally, some of the residents here could not possibly care less about the care and condition of this place. Litter everywhere, complete disregard for the garbage rooms and cannot be bothered to separate their recycling from their trash, even though the bins are right next to one another. Bottom line, skip this place unless you can afford the top floor and don't care about living around trash with some rude people. read more

The worst apartment renting experience. On the first hot day I went to turn on the AC and was shocked to see it doesn't turn on. I contacted Adam but there was no response per the uzh. For months, management refused to replace the hvac. Apartment was a sweltering sauna. Workers coming and going trying to repair when im not home. One of the workers had diarrhea in my bathroom when i was not home. This went on for about 5 months when they gave up and finally replaced the unit. I lived in the penthouse unit and ceiling was leaking every time it rained which this past season was almost every single day. Ceiling turned yellow with mold. I sat on my couch with an umbrella. Problem was never fixed because roof has been leaking since 2018 when building was built. If u live here prepare to smell whatever ur neighbors are cooking. One one side i had a neighbor who smoked pot inside all day long and my apartment reeked of weed. The other neighbor cooked something nasty and cheesy every day and my closet along with all my clothes took on that cheesy smell. I moved out a month early, left the apartment spotless and empty, security deposit was never refunded with no explanation. Getting ahold of anyone at moss is not possible. Avoid at all costs. read more

I went by there during business hours and nobody was in the office. I called later and scheduled an appointment and still nobody showed up after driving 20 miles to meet them. Never received a phone call email or anything. Terrible customer service and no communication. I can't imagine what the building management is like. read more

This is a great place to live. It is convenient to super markets, dining and nightlife. The building has a boutique vibe and is very modern. The management is super professional and made my moving experience a breeze. Highly recommended to anyone looking to move to this part of town. read more

I love living at the SKYLA Towers!! The property manager, Christian, answers all of my questions and concerns immediately and cares about every single resident & takes the time to make sure everybody is okay and comfortable. I've lived in different apartment complexes before and never have I had a property manager like Christian!!!
