Our second visit here and it was equally good both times. In a strip mall where the Sushi place used to be (if you're not familiar with the area don't confuse it with the Skyline across the street). They're offering breakfast and lunch here only, and their menus have a Hispanic theme but you can get traditional breakfast and lunch here too. Nice, airy room setup with tables on both sides of the door upon entering with the kitchen in the back. Nice views of the downtown if you can get a window seat in the front. Have only had breakfast here and they have mostly traditional breakfasts but a few Mexican breakfasts also. Servings are plentiful, and food was nicely prepared. Service was pretty good, seems like a family is running the place as it was the same servers when we visited a month apart. A great addition to the neighborhood. It is pricey though. There's not many meals on the breakfast menu that are below $15. The food, ambiance, and service are all pretty good, but with coffee, juice and a tip you'll be pushing $75-$80 for four people. It's worth it for those special breakfasts, and miles above what you'll get at the place across the street. Try it! read more

This is my 8 year old daughter's favorite breakfast place! The staff is super friendly and attentive and the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are mouth watering. My kids both love the Sapitos (fluffy crunchy donut like treat!). So happy to have a neighborhood place. We come here regularly. read more

The food was mediocre at best. The Huevoss rancheros has bacon in the sauce - very weird - and it's not listed as such on the menu. What if you don't eat or like bacon? I ate it because i was starving but it was not good. My moms BLT was meh. Not enough bacon and the bread was not toasted. I'm not displeased at all with my experience at Skyline cafe, but I'm definitely not blown away. They are a new restaurant owned by some of the people who run Sushimis. This is a diner style breakfast place that will leave your belly full, but not wowed. I ordered the veggie omelette that doesn't come with cheese and when I asked for it, they forgot to add it. It also really wasn't flavored much and waffle was pretty dry. My biggest issue is I feel like it's WAY overpriced for what the food it. For 2 people with 1 glass of OJ and a tip it came out to $50. Tbh it's not worth the price. Staffing is also hit hard like everywhere else. There was one server for the entire restaurant. Occasionally someone would come out to the back to help deliver food. But I could tell they got overwhelmed fast. Not their fault and just something that comes with the territory these days. We'll be back because it's so close to our house, but hopefully they can work through some of the kinks! read more

This is my second visit in 2 weeks. I was really surprised at the large portion when I ordered the Bacon, Avocado, Chicken sandwich on my first visit. The bacon was perfectly cooked and chicken was well seasoned. The french fries had a great crisp. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted and seated at a table. The servers were welcoming and very attentive, regularly checking to see if I needed anything or if they could refill my beverage. I'm looking forward to returning and trying out several other menu items. The location is close to my house and I'm glad to see this restaurant in my neighborhood. read more

We have visited this location for breakfast on a few different occasions. We have always enjoyed excellent service and food. The food is piping hot from the kitchen, which is not always the case as you know. It is also always fresh and homemade and delicious. They are new to the area, so struggling to fill the place up. So if you live near skyline and McCarran area, pop in and give it a try. I don't think you will regret it. They also have some delicious fry bread that you should absolutely try at least once. The service is great but the food has much to desire. I ordered the special which was a scramble with spinach, bacon, mushrooms and cheese, it had no mushrooms, it had sausage no bacon and had absolutley no flavor. My mother also ordered the special and couldn't even eat it. My sister ordered the breakfast burrito and said it was not good but took it home because she felt bad about just not eating it. My aunt had french toast and said how can you ruin french toast but they did. This is the first time my companions went and will not go back, it was my second time and I thought I would give it another try and yes I will not be going back. Came into this place on a whim while searching for new places to eat. We enjoyed a really good meal with a BLT sandwich and chicken fries steak. Waited forever for our food, people that came after us were served before us. The breakfast sandwich was wrong ordered with bacon and ham it came with egg and cheese only. The toast was beyond dried out from sitting in the window for more than 20 minutes. My omlette was to come with potatoes and did not. Let's start with ordering a coke it is delivered with no ice. Came here for breakfast with the husband. He had huevos rancheros and I had the chilaquiles. Both dishes were quite good and portions were large. Prices are unfortunately a bit high for breakfast. Our bill came to over $50. Which for breakfast is a bit steep. Service was very good. Server attentive and friendly. My only issue here is the lunch menu. On Yelp it is listed as "Many Vegetarian Options." This is not true at all. All dishes have meat, including the salad. I'm sure they can leave the meat off but paying $16-$18 for a plain salad is a no-go for me. I would love this place to put a couple of vegetarian options on the menu... veggie burger, veggie sandwich! I'm not sure the owners realize that not everyone eats meat. So unfortunately, my vegetarian friends and I do not go there for lunch. Breakfast- yes! Lunch - no (until they add vegetarian items to the menu). So, final review... breakfast is good but pricey. I ordered the meat omelette and received an omelette with filled with green bell peppers, onions, chorizo and.....Jalapeños! By the time I had eaten three bites and my mouth was on fire I proceeded to Pick the jalapeños out of the meal - there was an additional eight of them-and tried to enjoy the remainder of the meal. Between the spice of the chorizo, the amount of onions and the bite of the jalapeño it made me have stomach upset. The restaurant was very busy and I just let it go. They switched out the good hand cut fries to generic low end battered fries, now just generic and oily. Everything else about the review still stands. If you like battered fries they are fine but I find them entirely unappealing. read more
