I was here about 6 months ago and had a fabulous dinner & amazing service. However, last night took my friend there for her birthday dinner and was completely embarrassed. Our waitress never one time came to check on us until we were completely done. We started with a couple of the small plates and told her we would be trying other items but she didn't come back. I had tea and my friend water. She refilled the water without speaking and walked away. She was apparently too busy. Although the restaurant was mostly empty. I will not go back. I think that the prices are way over the top and if I'm paying top dollar, I should at least get excellent service. read more

I went here with my girlfriend when they were participating in the Reno Vegan Chef Challenge and if their non-vegan food is as good as the vegan options they have I'd have to say it would be fantastic. This restaurant has it all. - Great food, terrific outdoor area, and wonderful staff. It's also VERY dog friendly. - The small plates offer variety and quality.-The chef certainly knows her way around a kitchen. -The wait staff is friendly and can pace things just right. Finally went to a restaurant felling good vibes where we things are heading with COVID. I don't understand though why this place isn't having g staff where masks? I know it can be a false sense of security but quite surprised they are not giving patrons a little added feeling of safety. I really think that could affect guests going there. This is a new place so decided to give it a try. The location is great with good view of the city lights. Had dinner and drinks on the patio and it was a great experience. The food was excellent, very fresh and tasty. I've been looking for a local restaurant who serves a good brussel sprouts appetizer and theirs passed the test...very tasty!. I've been here twice to eat. A star for location and ambience. A star for great customer service and friendly staff. A star for yummy cocktails. A star for being a tapas style restaurant (love small plates). Lost a star because the menu lacks in choices. I am borderline vegetarian, only eating chicken on occasion and will eat fish. I also can't stand goat cheese and it's such a trendy cheese that I can't escape it eating out! Loved the Brussel Sprouts dish and Ahi choices. Prices are average compared to other tapas in town. Nothing like Barcelona though, where you get lots of tapas choices for under $10 . Overall it's not my first tapas restaurant choice in town. I feel like the Kowboyizykaya (not the spelling) and Center has better menus for those that don't eat a lot of meat and cheese. read more

My husband and I stopped by here for a later lunch. We found the location nearly empty which was good for us as we had our baby with us. My husband ordered the triple threat sliders which he LOVED. I ordered the beet salad and the prosciutto wrapped asparagus. I eat gluten free so there were limited options but at least there are options. I also had a cup of decaf coffee. The coffee was extremely strong and bitter. Not my favorite, but it didn't detract from the food for us. The beet salad was really good and the asparagus was fine. I would come back again for the food only. Perfect location for a light lunch or appetizers. read more

I really loved this new spot. Enjoyed Sierra street kitchen but this was even better. We had the steak tacos which I'd say was the best then the ricotta raviolis triple threat sliders flank skewers. Very very good.! I was able to get a half bottle of Rombauer which is amazing for me since my hubby doesn't drink wine. Only thing that has me thoroughly confused was being charged a corkage fee.... thought that only happened when you bring your own wine .. definitely will be returners just might bring our own wine :) read more

We spent an enjoyable evening at this new restaurant celebrating my wife's birthday and Father's Day with 2 of my adult sons. The place is fantastic, both the ambience and the food. Each of the small plates were awesome. Typically at a place like this the plates can be a little uneven in taste, not here. Lamb, bam! Steak medallions, bam! Steak tacos, bam! Scallops, bam! I could keep going. I can't forget the wine. Great wine list at a reasonable price point. We had the Elyse Nero Misto 2012 red blend for only $34. Are you kidding me?!? Fabulous!!! This off-the-beaten-path restaurant/wine bar is outstanding! It's a sister establishment to The Sierra Street Kitchen and its every bit as wonderful. Interesting tapas menu and the dishes are so fresh and cooked to perfection! The specialty cocktails are sexy and the wine list is massive! The staff is friendly and attentive. I have driven past this restaurant a few times and have been wanting to try it. I met a friend for dinner. For dinner We had the ahi, filet, tater tots and dates. All of the food was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us often. We also enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner. I loved the ambiance and look forward to sitting outside when it warms up a little. read more

Visiting from out of town, my husband and I made this our only dinner date out, and it was a great pick. Cody, our waiter, offered a great table just inside the large door, and we started off with two beers. My husband ordered a chicken entree, which he thought was outstanding. I ordered two of the small plates, the Kobe beef sliders and the Thai chicken wraps. The Kobe sliders, with sauteed onions, could not have been better. The Thai wraps were beautifully presented, but were a little bland. Perhaps offering some fish sauce would have made the taste more satisfying. The service and environment were terrific, and the restaurant was set up well for social distancing. It was a great visit, and we will be back next time we're in Reno! read more

So bummed. Really looking forward to checking out this restaurant and read the reviews which were mostly positive. I rarely have bad experiences but...Ok. Arrived and waited at the host stand. Several employees walked by but none made eye contact (red flag). Oh, they weren't very busy. Finally after 2 more people walked in, someone finally came over. Then told us we could sit wherever we wanted. Ok. No problem. Server came over and we ordered Pellegrino and asked about gluten free options. She was in a hurry. Pointed to a couple of things and said the kitchen was backed up and our food would take a while. Ok. When we weren't ready she said she'd be back. So we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally flagged down a server and asked for the check. The greeter brought it (our server was MIA). We paid. Left. Went across the street and had a great meal. I've been enjoying this restaurant since it opened. They have a wonderful selection of wine and very delicious food. On Thursday nights they have live music, which is always wonderful. During these warm days there is an outside patio which is just lovely for dining and having a glass of wine (or in my case champagne). The staff here is great. Servers are attentive and helpful... and if there ever is an issue, they are quick to correct it. For me this is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant. I usually walk there but there is a parking lot there and plenty of easy street parking. Food is mostly done as small plates so you can sample many dishes in one evening. I have several favorites here but my all time favorite is the ahi nachos, while my husband's is the duck nachos. So yummy!!! Oh, and the lobster ravioli is a must try!!! This is also a great place to pick up a bottle of wine to take home as they also have a retail section for wine and champagne. read more

Beautifully presented and such a choice of generous plates.
