    Camera still falling offline

    This company is the worst in service, installation, customer service, management and ownership! Above that, their products suck, they don't work right and if you call for a tech they don't know what to do to fix the camera or recorder. And technical support online is even worse. Where do I start: The salesman "Adrian" was a good talker but couldn't follow through with his WORD. Tells you to call him for anything but never calls you back when the things are all wrong. Promised to get everything that matches the current system and then I had to fight for the matching. The installer, the first of four or five installers absolutely sucked. Cut corners, made holes in the walls and didn't mention it first, left his trash and wires all over the place and didn't even dress up the work he did. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th installer all saw his work and took pictures to show their boss. Tech support, they couldn't get my front camera online for over a month. Still don't know what happen there. If it was a communication issue or just lacking to do things. Customer service after complaint and complaint about now months in to the contract and paying more than the other company and wishing I never left Vivint there cameras and techs were so much better. These cameras suck. They could not get me an installer to do the work correctly and or could not get the parts in that was promised. Yet they took my money every month. On time even. Customer loyalty department insulted me after asking to get me out of the contract and Brinks even recommending them to release me said that " I cannot speak to anyone other than them" when I asked to talk to a manager. And when I asked to get me out of this contract because they failed to deliver he said and I quote " not even God could get me out of this contract" which was a huge insult to me as I am a religious person! Not to mention that the salesman sold me the doorbell cam that isn't even viewable to the link because it's not comparable with their programs. This contract started around Jan 2025. It's now late June and my cameras still fall off and I have unplug then and plug them back in for them to reset or to get them back online. I cannot believe no one from management is even taking my calls or the owner. The contract is usually transferred over to Brinks after 3 months. Brinks sent me a letter and it said that they will not be accepting the contract and that I will have to remain with Skyline for the duration of my contract....I'm just so done with this company and wish I could get out of this contract. My next step is the BBB! I didn't even want to put one star but there is a minimum that yelp makes you put. To this day I don't set my alarm because who do I want them even screwing that up!

    I don't do 1 Star Reviews but these guys were completely pathetic. This company is essentially just putting sales guys out in the field telling potential customers (as they walk in with FAKE ADT badges) they have newer systems and upgrades. Only problem is that right now you don't have a contract but before they leave they are locking you into 3-5 years! Read all their 1 STAR REVIEWS AND THE RATINGS from employees on INDEED. They don't work for ADT, They don't work for Spectrum, they wanna install cellular systems even though you have a dedicated line. Once you figure out they frauded you and you call them out by cancelling they get heated and verbally abusive (red flag) one clown scolded me because he gave me all his time (as I did while customers were coming in & out) and phones were ringing off the hook. Their big selling feature: "our guys talk to you from your panel if you set your alarm off" -- who fricken cares!! Even after I told them not to change ANYTHING on my account, instructed them not to dispatch a tech on a Saturday for installation I still got an email notification from spectrum stating changes had been made to my account ....STAY AWAY! The sales guys point to Skyline as only a 3rd party installer, that's because these guys in the field are COMMISSION BASED agents and they get pain on ALL CONTRACTS signed and skyline is the benefactor. When I asked them to take me to their website that's when their faces dropped because it wasn't ADT OR SPECTRUM. STAY AWAY!

    Brinks Home Security, 5 year Contract Alert: Be aware- please be aware of what you are signing when it comes to sales rep for Skyline Security Management on behalf of BRINKS home security. We had two representative come by and they seem nice and wholesome, persistent level 1,000.... we signed a contract base on what they were offering. 1) The Rep, John Maura, he said we have 7 days to cancel and when we want to cancel just text him he'll handle it. **When I read contract it stated 3 days, the cancellation notice needed to be mailed into their office by midnight of the 3rd day- exactly. We reached out asked him John M, he said disregard but when I called Brinks they confirm it has always been 3 days. 2) according to the contract they reserve the right to increase price after a 12 month period, the rep John M., said disregard, you are a sponsor home. ** We called BRINKS they reserve the right to increased and that it's our responsibility to read the contracts. ( additional fees pertain to tax increase or service charges) This guy is still texting me confirming 7 days and all the glory but Brinks Home security is stating otherwise- please read your contract and don't listen to these guys. Brinks Home Security might be good but their middle man is shady

    Great company! They installed a doorbell for my mom recently and I have the app on my phone which is super helpful to see who comes to the house. Amazing experience overall! Definitely referred lots of people already!

    There sales rep came pounding. on my door.He asked for 2 different people. I told him he had the wrong house twice. He had a brinks badge that looked fake. I thought maybe it was a sales tactic He kept trying to get my name . I told him to leave my property and refused. He proceeded to show me pictures on his cellphone claiming he knew me. At this point I knew he wasn't trying to sell me something but insisted he knew me. I asked him to leave. He then took off his hat to convince me he " knew me" . I told him " I DONT know You!! and in a very angry tone to leave my property for the 3rd time. He saw my security system sign on my door and asked if I was in charge of that. I told him to get the F off my property!!! My dogs began barking like crazy and said , oh you have guard dogs? He finally started to leave but told me I didn't have to be rude. Wtf? I then saw him go down the street to another neighbors house. He wasn't going door to door only specific homes. I reported him to my City. He has his Skyline hat but with a Brinks badge.

Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!
