Fried pork chop, bitter melon with egg, beef chow fun, honey walnut shrimp, and chicken string beans.

Got our usual dishes for lunch. We came around 1pm after the lunch crowd and enjoyed our meal. There's plenty of seating and also smaller seating area in the back. Nice painting on the wall.

First time here and enjoyed my dinner. Ordered chefs special "wor choy" meal of picking three dishes includes house soup and rice. Fast, efficient and gets crowded fast. Food is good Cantonese food! Can taste the "wok hay" of the seasoned woks! Big menu to order noodle dishes, or rice plates...comfort foods and drinks. Something for everybody. Solid!

I'm not sure of what we ordered if mathing!

We always go here if not ones or twice a month. The food is already reliable, dishes are well prepared, seasoned and definitely worth coming back to. We ordered 3 items for $37 + 0.50 cents for any item with beef. We ordered eggplant with chicken and salted fish, salt pepper pork chop, beef with string bean and HK crispy noodles with beef. The whole totaled should be around $50-52. I guess tax really gets you about $6. I mean if they update the prices will be greatly appreciate and a proper receipt so we know how much everything really is. Service is always fast, food seemed to be ready within 10-15 minutes. Good for dine in and take out but the restaurant is always weird, not clean or a storage of everything else.

My friend and I were on a late night grocery run next door at 99 ranch, and we were looking for a quick casual restaurant nearby! A few tables were seated at 9:00PM, but by 9:30PM it was just us left. The wall street-style artwork referencing various pop culture was interesting. We wanted to order the Beef Chow Fun, but we were a little disappointed that all the Chow Fun had sold out for the day. We decided to go for the classic Beef Bitter Melon on Crispy Noodle and the baked Pork Chop. For Hong Kong styled cafes, the food was about average and if anything a little under seasoned. We got a very generous amount of bitter melon. Keep in mind it's cash only!

Classic Chinese food for cheap and you get what you paid for. The perfect yelp rating of 3-4 stars indicates the best, authentic Chinese food. They have lunch deals for rice dishes for $8-10 and noodle dishes $10-12. I ordered: 1. Tomato beef Chow fun: Delicious! I liked the beef and the flavor of the sauce with the noodles. I wish the noodles were a bit more crunchy but either way it was still delicious. Lots of beef and the portion size was quite large for $10. 2. Scrambled egg seafood chow fun: One of my favorite dishes and they were so generous with the amount of shrimp! I did feel it needed a little more soy sauce but I guess it's better to be more bland and you can make it more salty rather than the other way around. Overall, Delicious and cheap. What else do you want in a Chinese restaurant. Lots of lunch and dinner deals. Good portion size. Decent service. I'll definitely be back!

If you want comfort Chinese/HK food at a no frills place, this would be it! The prices are very affordable (esp in the SF area) and the portions are generous. I really enjoyed the beef and black bean entree, beef was very tender. Chow fun had the classic wok taste, which made it extra tasty. The interior walls are covered with cartoon and anime murals, really cool vibe in here. Staff was great too, super attentive and nice with any of our requests! Highly recommended!

Really cheap (compared to most of today's establishments). Service is okay. Condiments are not cleaned. Hella dirty :( One time they gave us our tea and it smelled like they used a dirty rag to dry them.... Needless to say, just drank from water bottles we thankfully had in the car. I love coming here to try out the different things on their menu. So far, I've tried: Beef Chow Fun, Deep Fried Flounder, Scrambled Egg Prawn Chow Fun (Wet), Garlic Yu Choy, Salt and Pepper Pork Spareribs, Green Onion Pancakes, Soup of the Day (had celery and carrots), String Beans with Beef, Honey Walnut Prawns, Seafood Tofu Clay Pot, Chow Mein, Chicken Wings, and their milktea. Out of everything I've tried, I like the scrambled egg prawn chow fun (wet), seafood tofu clay pot, and salt and pepper pork spare ribs. Everything else is okay as well, but I'll keep ordering other things on the menu for now. Looking forward on trying their baked pork chop.

Happy hour meal- all of this for about $50 with tips (as of Nov 2023)

Good Chinese food for cheap! Just like many HK cafes, the workers do not have the best services in terms of attitude and mannerism but they are super quick! All of our food and beverages came out in less than 10 minutes! Our favorite was the salt and pepper tofu. My husband and toddler were munching on those non-stop at the restaurant! Everything else was standard for Chinese food and tasted good. Skyline Cafe has deals throughout the day! We came during the evening happy hour (before 6pm) and got a full meal for around $50 after tips and taxes. Totally worth it! The customer services are slightly better in person than over the phone and most of their customers are Cantonese speaking. One of the servers was kind and even helped us pack our leftovers. The cashier lady needs to be a bit more patient though. She seems to always be in a rush even when it is not busy. Unlike traditional HK cafes with the bright white lights, this place is filled with colorful artwork like Pokémon and Mario World. Super random but the paintings kept our one year old toddler entertained throughout the whole dinner. Note: cash only!

    Braised tofu with seafood

We came by for dinner and this place is cash only. The restaurant isn't the cleanest or fanciest but gets you filled up with good food. They have a 3 item special that comes with rice and a soup for about 35 dollars, which we normally go for. This time around, I also got a baked spaghetti dish on top of the deal. The staff was okay overall, we had to wait to see if we should seat ourselves or have them seat us. Three different people took orders from us but one lady was a little rude and I didn't get good vibes from her. At the end of the day, I came here for a meal to fill my stomach up. The braised tofu was pretty tasty and flavorful, it soaked up all the sauce it was cooked in but I didn't try out the seafood because I'm not too big of a fan for seafood. The soup was delicious and refreshing to start off your meal, it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. The baked spaghetti was pretty mid to be honest, I didn't expect it to be like how it is in Hong Kong but it lacks in comparison to a lot of places in the Bay Area. The sauce was clumpy and almost tasted like flour, and there wasn't enough seasoning in the sauce but the pork chop was tender and delicious! The Peking sparerib was the definite winner here. It hit all the marks in what you would expect in a Peking sparerib, sweet, savory, tangy, and tender!

at 9:47PM when they asked us to go there to order.

Absolutely the worse place ever in terms of service. We called in at 9:29pm trying to order. They said they closed won't be talking phone order and asked us to drive there to order. We asked them if u r saying closed then why should we still drive there. They said their closing time is flexible, and they will take our order and make it when we there. We drove and got there at 9:47 and everyone was gone.

I've driven by several times before, and they weren't open late night (maybe closed by 10:00PM). Are they now open till 1:00AM or did no one change the hours? Thanks!

Mostly on the weekends. But when the business is slow they close early.

Located in a rather dense part of Daly City, but with a little effort, you can find a spot to park. NOTE: There are meters on Mission Street that only take quarters! You order at the counter, then take a seat. Nice variety on the menu, both breakfast and lunch items (eggy thangs & goodness between bread). A couple of Latin items. A small choice of baked goods and a self-serve water station. Ordered "The Scrambled" w/ ham and cheddar, potatoes... no choice on toast, just straight unbuttered wheat, so you'll need to request butter if you want some. Also got a large latte which was delicious! Everything was brought to me, which was nice. Only saw one staffer up front (they weren't busy), and she was super friendly and upbeat. Can't believe I haven't been here before, but I will be back as I'd like to try the Baleada, which is egg, bean, and cheese in a tortilla... simple, but looks tasty. Also, prices were very reasonable! Go, go, GO!

Stumbled upon this neighborhood mom and pop cafe as I was finishing up some grocery shopping nearby…read morein the morning. You order and pay at the counter and they'll bring you your dish if you want to dine in. There is metered street parking at the front, but you can find residential parking on the side streets. The ambiance of the cafe was simple, warming and welcoming; a quiet and relaxing vibe. Service overall was great and dish came out decently fast. They cleaned up pretty quickly as well when a table was finished. I wanted something a bit light so I opted for: 1) American Omelette(6.5/10)(~$12) - A decent and light breakfast plate. The omelette was a thin egg omelette a bit of a departure from your usual diner fare. The ham wasn't diced either, it was just 1-2 deli sliced ham placed in between with your choice of cheese(provolone, cheddar or swiss). For sides, you can either get a salad or potatoes. I went with the potatoes and they were grilled really well and seasoned just right. It also came with a sliced wheat bread. It was an okay dish, but if you want something more filling, I would try something else. 2) Drip Coffee(Small)(7/10)($2.75) - Just your usual house coffee. Overall, taste was good without it being overly bitter. A adequate cup of coffee that will wake you up in the morning. Price was very reasonable as well. 3) Pupusas(5.5/10)($4.50) - I ordered a pupusa to go as I wanted to give it a try for lunch. It was an okay pupusa; I ordered the chorizo one....but couldn't really find it in the pupusa when I got home. Just refried beans. It was freshly made though since it took awhile to get it. The pupusas aren't on the menu in the cafe, but it is written on the board outside. It came with a bag of mild salsa and a bag veggies on the side. Overall, I've had better pupusas on the Mission and would skip this. A decent neighborhood spot to grab a quick bite if in the area!
