On July 23, 2025, I visited Tru-Tec for maintenance inquiries after completing a safety recall with…read morethe Toyota dealership. I came into Tru-Tec asking about maintenance and left Tru-Tec with a lawsuit. The maintenance Tru-Tec originally completed was a valve cover gasket replacement and front brake replacement. However, when I got my car back that evening, the check engine light was on for the very first time since I purchased the car back in November of 2023. While completing this work, Tru-Tec verbally told me that they had burned through a wire and would replace it for free. They refused to write this down for my records, constantly brushing off my and my husband's requests. After visiting the shop a total of 5 times, trying to charge me for the wires and installation they originally stated were free, and still having my check engine light on, Tru-Tec was unable to fix the damage they caused, eventually calling me "neurotic" and banning me from the shop. After months of carpooling with my husband, utilizing rental vehicles/tow trucks, visiting several locations that refused to touch the damaged wiring, and receiving quotes from the dealership that would have cost more than $5,000, I was finally able to have the car back in working condition once Premier Performance came into the picture. After hearing from several professionals, I learned that the wiring Tru-Tec originally installed was off-market, which could have caused even more damage to the car's internal systems. Since the car was repaired correctly and safely by Premier Performance back in September of 2025, I have had no issues with the car. I tried several times outside of court to receive the repair costs from Tru-Tec. However, the new owner, Jordan Becker, refused to take any responsibility. After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, I filed a small-claims case against Tru-Tec to recover my repair costs. I ultimately won a settlement through mediation. In my personal opinion, Jordan Becker is incapable of maintaining proper car and customer care. His dangerous incompetence led to my car being out of commission for months, as I had to use several different shops and resources to properly repair the car. Jordan repeatedly gave my husband and me conflicting information over and over again, which, in my opinion, demonstrated that he is not capable of running the family business. I highly recommend that you stay far away from this shop (unless you want to learn more about the legal system).

Unfortunate to have to leave this review…read more I originally brought my 2020 Subaru Forester to Atlantic in March 26 for a new AC evaporator core & expansion valve kit. The dash had to be removed for this to be installed. Unfortunately, the issues with the shop began even before the work started. I made an appointment and dropped off the car......and the car sat untouched for 6 days. No call, no update from the shop. I was without a car for 6 days when I didn't have to be. Once the job was completed (9 days in total) I noticed that there was a crack in my dashboard that was never there previously. The car was also filthy and I found a half eaten chicken wing in the back seat. At the time I did not complain, or leave a bad review, but I wasn't happy. For the next 2 months I noticed there was a mildew, wet smell in the car that I could not get to the bottom of. Forward to late May. When I started the car, my dashboard lights went crazy. I took the key out of the ignition and the dashboard lights did NOT turn off. I took my car to Subaru and they diagnosed the problem. The bottom line is, when Atlantic re-installed my dashboard they forgot to attach the AC drip hose. AC drain water was leaking into the cabin under my carpet for 2 months and caused corrosion and a short in my CAN harness bus lines. Subaru told me that I have to replace my instrument cluster harness and the harness that runs to the back of the car. So, now that I know that this dashboard short was caused by Atlantic's negligence, I brought my car back to them in (Jun 1, 26). After speaking to the management, I find out that my car has again been sitting for 4 days and no mechanic has touched it. Once again no call or update from the shop. The customer service belies Atlantic's google reviews. Atlantic refused to reimburse me for the diagnosis from Subaru and my rental car bills, even though it was their mistake. They say I should have brought the car back to them before I went to Subaru. This does not hold up. Why would I bring it back to them for electrical problems when I had my AC fixed there? They did fix my dashboard and now say the car is fine. The car now has a terrible mildew smell from the AC drain leak. I would not recommend this shop.

That conversation was a month ago so very impressed that he retained all the information. This is a garage where truly skilled, old school mechanically capable men work. Alex and his crew are polite in addition to being skilled mechanics, they listen to what you tell them the problem is, they start there! They had their tech take a second look and he still couldn't find the issue. I had BMW take a look when I came in for service just a few days later and they diagnosed and fixed the issue which was a slightly loose bolt at a heavy cost to me. Upon mentioning that to m-tech they quickly reimbursed me for my additional costs and offered a sincere apology for the oversight. Any one can have an off day and I don't fault them for making a mistake which any one can make but they stood by their work and made it right which I really appreciate. The tires needed to be ordered so he gave a deposit before he flew home. AJ their Assistant Service Writer called me the next day when the tires were in. Since we were all visiting for the holidays we actually made an appointment to put the tires on a few days later. When we arrived I checked in with AJ. I decided to wait bc I had my mom with me and it would be less running around. While waiting, I also spoke with Patrick their General Manager, and Tony their Manager. All 3 were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions, and explained everything. I had my elderly mom with me and these guys had a lot of patience. What I really loved about Apex is besides selling tires, they take pictures of what's wrong with your vehicle and add it to your online profile account so you can see up close and personal what's wrong and the parts they replaced. This place seems to be very honest and truthful which is rare. They will also give you an estimate.You can go online to see all work done. I highly recommend making an appointment. This place gets very busy. They have two buildings. One in the front of the driveway, and one towards the back. The actual entrance is in the front building. They have a small waiting area. My mom's tires were put on and the tires were rebalanced. They can work on all types of vehicles. Their prices were competitive. I would definitely use Apex again
