Ate and went here by myself. I had ate 3 different kinds of slices on my own feeling hungry and brought a coke fountain drink to drink it up feeling thirsty that the 3 slices I got tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and super fast. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time.

Was initially gonna rate this place a 3 star due to limited menu options and pizza that doesn't really stand out but what made this a 4 star is customer service. The lady by the counter was very attentive and courteous which made for a good starting pleasing experience. I've had 2 slices, while not the best I've ever had, they're serviceable. Was thinking of getting Mozzarella balls but they were a little too rich for my blood. Looking over the menu, I might try their pasta dishes next when I come back around there. It's a small spot but a decent one with good service.

This place gets a solid 4 stars and here's why: If I'm ordering a slice extra cheese ... it means a slice extra cheese! You aren't doing me any favors. A grilled chicken Caesar salad should look appealing. The look of that white lettuce didn't do it for me. The fact that the garlic knots tasted like zeppoles was the icing on the cake. Only reason this place gets 4 stars and not 3 is because their service was top notch. The guy at the counter was super attentive and gave me the happy hour drink discount even though I didn't even know about it. He even bothered to bring our food to the table. Not a place I would go to again and this isn't my first time here

This was an impulse eat. I thought the pizza was good - sauce a little on the sweeter side and the crust was crispy out of the over. Quick counter service with seating. Comment - If you are not going to honor the check in bonus then don't have it. I showed this to the workers and they said it's only during happy hour even though it doesn't say that anywhere. It's a nice thing to have, but my panties get up in a bunch when I get excited for an offer and then told "that's not us" or some other excuse. I might give this another shot if I'm in the area. It is pizza afterall.

This place is good but it is definitely a hit and miss. I have ordered here at least 10 times over the last 2 years. Pies are banging and crispy. But the Sicilian pie misses the mark. Our sausage was also burned. I am not sure what it is. The dough taste different and plain. The slice is a beautiful creation but the sicilian is Shrek after a night of frat drinking. Maybe not that bad but far inferior to the regular slice.

Vodka Pie

My friend and I wanted to get some late night slices, and while sLICe was nearby with fast service, the pizza itself left a bit to be desired. NY Slice-style shops are very price-sensitive; a $1 slice and a $4 both serve their purpose, but there is an expectation for each. The four slices we got, two classic cheese and two vodka, weren't particularly bad or greasy, but were $3.75 each. That price puts it in the same tier as Joes and other "higher caliber" names, which this just wasn't. If each were $2.50 -$3, I'd be very satisfied. But for what we received, it's current price is a bit steep.

Lunch was great. Nice small location friendly staff, great service. Several options to choose from. Prices are about the same as all the others. Only drawback is the music is a bit loud for me. I enjoyed the lunch and the lunch break.

Decent slice. Came in on a Friday night, place was busy. Casual, nice benches inside to sit and enjoy your slice. Service was also nice.

This place got an 8.1 from Portnoy so we decided to stop in when other dinner plans fell through in LIC. The selection at 6:30 on a Friday evening was abysmal - no regular slices, and only about 4 options of slices that clearly had been sitting for some time. The artichoke dip (pesto) slice was nothing special, and the vodka slice didn't even taste of vodka sauce. The Sicilian though - if I was just eating that slice, this would be a five star review. The garlic knots appeared to be deep fried and were an oily mess - after one bite the rest of the order went uneaten. And the air conditioning was broken so it was so incredibly hot in the pizzeria.

White sLICe, iced tea, garlic knots

Four words: Deep Fried Garlic Knots! At first glance, I thought I was looking at zeppoles, but when another customer asked for garlic knots, I knew I had to try them. And try them I did! Three of them to be exact... and let me tell you, they are THE BEST GARLIC KNOTS I HAVE EVER HAD! I know those are fighting words but they really were amazing! They have to do more, a lot more, with these bad boys because they are down right delicious! All their slices looked amazing, but what was really calling out to me was their white slice. Super, super thin crust and just the right amount of cheese graced my plate. I also have to say that my slice wasn't lukewarm when coming out of the oven. Rather it was piping hot!! Finally, I got an iced tea which was super delish! It had just the right amount of sweetness! And the cup it comes in is EVERYTHING! Definitely coming back for another sLICe very soon. And those GARLIC KNOTS!

When I got to the restaurant and checked in I was offered a free small fountain drink from Yelp so that was a good start. Service was regular nothing to brag about and nothing negative to say. Cute small establishment with a seated area inside and outside, as well as an outside standing area. The pizza was good and had flavor, but not enough cheese. That's all folks short and sweet.

Vodka pizza
Christopher R.

Definitely a good pizza place in Astoria. Got the vodka pizza and it was tasty. Only request I have is they put a bit more sauce on the pizza since in some parts it was a bit dry. Also, definitely recommend their mozzarella balls. They are delicious!

I don't think the pizza is very good. I've tried it at a couple of their locations thinking it would be different, it wasn't.

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

The decor is simple but cozy, it seems like a place you find yourself in, in the middle of the week. The food: Anchovy Special with Arugula and Orange Supremes- Shocking how good this was, the anchovy was cooked perfectly, they were incredibly tasty without being oily. It went nicely with the arugula and the freshness of the citrus. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=WXs8evyJarabbHv9XVj6fw Melanzane alla Parmigiana- breaded eggplant, mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil. This was basically an eggplant parm and the eggplant was cooked perfectly, the cheese was ok but the sauce made this dish really tasty with the nice homemade focaccia they give you in the beginning. Branzino Special with Cannelli Beans and Swiss Chard. This was the winner of the evening. The cripsy skin was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, the cannelli beans I thought were going to be weird but it added a nice creaminess to the fish. Lastly the swiss chard was crunchy on the ends and nice and tender on the leaf. This should be put on the regular menu. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=xNVfJCmf89OOY-1ME3FY7Q Controfiletto- grilled prime angus N.Y. strip steak served with roasted marble potatoes. I hate to say it but as good as the steak was, the roasted potatoes was the star of show. The potatoes were amazing. Pappardelle alla Bolognese- housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce. This was good but came off a bit plain. The pasta was homemade but it was almost to a fault since the pasta came out too soft. The flavors were good but I felt this would have been a better, reheated the next day kind of dish.

We were running a little late and called the restaurant, but we got there within 15 minutes of the reservation and were seated promptly. The place was relatively empty when we got there toward the opening of dinner service, but quickly filled up as the evening progressed. There's not a very extensive menu, basically one page of food and one page of drinks, but they put together a nice variety of options. We ordered a few glasses of wine, including from the wine on tap, which were great. Ordered several apps, most of which were large enough to share with everyone: burrata (fresh and creamy, which we piled onto the accompanying toast), steamed mussels (couldn't stop dipping the garlic crostini in the flavorful broth), and baked shrimp & calamari (the seafood was tender, and the sauce had a little kick to it and was great for dipping the toasted sourdough in). Two of my sisters ordered individual apps: carrot & ginger soup (came out piping hot and had a well-balanced flavor), and the spring salad (the ingredients were so fresh, especially the tomatoes). For my main dish, I ordered the gnocchi. The gnocchi was a little firm, but the sauce was flavorful and the braised rabbit lent the dish a mild meaty taste. My sisters had the wild boar lasagna (packs a flavorful punch) and the pasta special, spaghetti al limone (my sister liked it, but said she wasn't wowed enough to order it again). My BIL had the braised meatballs, usually an appetizer, as his main dish. It came with three tender, flavorful meatballs in a slightly spicy tomato sauce. My parents had the half roasted chicken and the pan seared striped bass, which they both immensely enjoyed. We all saved room for our favorite dessert: the Baby Jesus cake. If you love sticky toffee pudding, then this is the dessert for you. It is divine. We also got the house-made gelato, which comes with three scoops. We got one of each flavor: vanilla (plenty of vanilla bean flecks and tasted like it had honey in it), strawberry (a little tart, but with the right amount of sweetness), and cinnamon (my favorite flavor, nice warming spice). The souffle al cioccolato came out nice and hot, wasn't too sweet, and had a rich chocolate flavor. It was a wonderful ending to a delicious dinner. Service was great from start to finish. They were helpful with answering questions, refilling water, clearing off plates, and checking in on us every so often. They also have one bathroom that is cat themed (as a cat lady, this made me love this place even more). You can even upload your cat's pics to be shared on the digital display via a QR code. This is a wonderful neighborhood spot, and we will definitely be back.

The food was good and the service was good as well our server was very nice. What bothers me is no mention when making the reservation it's just the pre fixe menu and upon actually doing the math and adding all of the items we got for 2 people going off their regular menu prices we actually ended up paying about $30 more which is usually not the case in other restaurants this should have been much cheaper. Also some of the dishes on the prix fixe menu had an additional $12.50 charge because of the type of the ingredients used, if you're going to charge extra just make a smaller portion or use other type of meat. Definitely not happy how they prepared this whole menu thing and will not be coming back here most likely. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff was very nice and the food was good.

The spicy pepper kicks things off with a bold punch, but then--bam!--a whisper of honey swoops in like a culinary peacekeeper, mellowing the heat with golden charm. It's a flavor seesaw that never tips too far in either direction. Balance? Nailed it. Now, if you're a meat lover (or a lover of meats, as I like to say), this pizza is your soulmate. It's stacked like a carnivore's dream journal--every bite a savory celebration of smoky, juicy goodness. And the crust? Oh, the crust. Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, It's the kind of crust that makes you pause mid-bite and whisper, "Perfect." And let's not forget the Caesar salad. It wasn't just a sidekick--it was a co-star. Cool, crunchy romaine, creamy dressing with a garlicky zing, and those little crouton nuggets of joy? Yes please. It brought a refreshing contrast to the pizza's boldness, like a chill breeze after a spicy salsa dance. In short: Diablo Pizza is a flavor thrill ride, and the Caesar salad is your stylish seatbelt. Buckle up and enjoy. Great service too!

Larry behind the bar, Dominick, Carmine, and the entire staff make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. There's an energy to the place that's hard to describe -- fun, warm, welcoming, and genuinely memorable. You can tell everyone there truly cares about creating an amazing experience. And the food absolutely delivers. The chicken parm was one of the best I've ever had. Every dish we tried was incredible. Can't recommend Rialto enough. We even had a bonus singing waiter, who was fantastic! The menu was stocked with an array of Italian specialties. I went for the eggplant parm, spaghetti and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The portion of eggplant was huge. Looked like a packed burrito with plenty of girth. It was a delightful bite everytime. So good. Amid great conversation and impeccable hospitality along with fabulous entertainment, I was already planning my next time back. Highly recommend this newish fabulous Italian spot for a meal that will send you home full and happy. Oh and they offered complimentary limoncello to end the evening. All and all a great place.

Super cozy, cute & romantic Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Love coming here for date…read morenights. We always start with the bufalina appetizer...love the super fresh mozzarella (big portion)! My boyfriend always gets the white lamb ragu pappardelle pasta that he LOVES and gets everytime. This time I tried the lasagna (I normally get the bolognese), and it was overall good (I could've use a tiny bit more salt, but again overall good). Loved the panna cotta dessert, light, sweet and perfect portion to end the night. Love the small touches (red roses for February...always friendly and attentive service.

Came here with a group of friends last week, it was a pleasant experience overall. We ordered each one pasta dish so we got to try many different things. I wasn't a fan of my own choice, the lamb pasta, as it had no sauce and tasted mainly like green onion. Also there was one single piece of asparagus in it and it felt very random. The best dish was the squash gnocchi with amaretto crumble. Incredible! Really recommend. The tiramisu was mainly creamy but the taste was great. The service was somewhat fast but there was one single person taking care of the whole place. While it was a Wednesday evening and therefore there weren't many tables to serve, that resulted in a bit of confusion here and there and some moments of slow serving. Overall I do recommend this place and I will be coming back.
