The atmosphere has a great vibe. We love coming here because the food is so delicious. I think one of the best sandwiches I've ever had was here unfortunately they don't have it on the menu. I hope they bring it back. It was the chef's special peach and prosciutto sandwich with candied almonds I believe. That sandwich was so so good. I visited Mendocino in Burbank last week and I decided to dine-in. The store inside was not packed or busy, but I did see a lot of delivery workers consistently come in to pick up orders. The restaurant itself had several tables that required cleaning, trays left there, etc. mostly on the outside patio. Staff was pleasant overall. I placed my order at the counter and then I took a seat. They prepare each order once received, so it is freshly made. I ordered the "not so fried chicken" sandwich (On Toasted Ciabatta, Chicken, Krispies, Herb Aioli, Mustard Pickle Slaw, Pickled Red Onion, Tomato) and a fountain drink; I chose guayaba lemonade. The food gets delivered to your table on a tray in a nice, clean presentation. I really enjoyed my sandwich there, all ingredients and toppings tasted fresh, the chicken was moist and not dry, nicely coated in the Krispies and best of all, I did not leave feeling "tired" or "heavy" it was a nice light dinner for me. I come here a few times a week for lunch and Mendocino Farms never disappoints. Their salads are amazing -- the Farmhouse Ranch Salad with chicken is one of my favorites and honestly everything I've tried has been pretty solid. I also wanted to give a special shoutout to Jose H. He is always so kind, always in a good mood, and works incredibly hard. It really makes a difference when someone brings that kind of energy every time you come in. We need more people like him. It's been years since I visited any of the locations, however this one was a block away from an appointment I was at, so decided it was about time to give it another try. The menu was very different than I remembered, yet had some enticing options. There was some pictures of seasonal offerings that were very tempting. Service at the walk up to order counter was great and food was delivered timely. The sandwiches have no sides, not even a pickle. Sides can be ordered separately and were very good, just small. The food was good, but not amazing. My sandwich for example was served on very soft bread and don't get me wrong, I love very soft bread. However, it was so soft it was not holding the sandwich together well at all. As you can imaging, this made it very messy to eat. My husbands sandwich was flavorful, but the portions were off with too much bread vs meat ratio. read more

Love the staff at this location! I've been to many Mendocino Farms locations and everyone is usually friendly, but the team here was exceptional. They even stepped out from behind the cashier area to greet our party and help us decide what to order, which we really appreciated. During the meal, staff came by to check on how everything was and even helped clear our trays afterward. That level of attentiveness really stood out. I ordered the Chef's Special: Smoked BBQ Brioche Sandwich. The flavors were great overall, though it had a bit more BBQ sauce than I personally prefer. Still, Mendocino Farms is always a solid, reliable option when you're looking for a good healthier meal. Parking was street parking, and it wasn't too difficult to find a spot at night after 6pm. read more

Love the patio, will take any opportunity to eat outside where I can sit in the shade but be outside. It's a great place to have a business coffee chat, or to catch up with a friend. My favorite item here has been the Seasonal GOAT with Pink Lady Apples. The goat cheese in the middle is absolutely divine, it almost gives me the same vibes as having a generous plop of burrata on your pasta. It is the star of this salad and just makes my brain produce seratonin. I've probably gotten this salad upwards of 5x during the summer alone. I was heading to Dodgers Stadium after I flew in from the airport so I figured I would go somewhere that I usually bring into the stadium...and saw there was one not far from Bob Hope (now Hollywood) Airport.... Mendocino farms is a chain of restaurants that sells healthy sandwiches, soups, and salads. I hadn't eaten at a Mendocino since about 2015 because they were only located in Hollywood at the time. They have since expanded out across LA. I feel like the quality of the food has decreased across the board. They used to offer some pretty interesting sandwich combinations and now they're just your basic ham and turkey sandwiches. I decided to go with the Chicken and Hummus crunch wrap. The flour tortilla was a bit stiff and dry, but the ingredients inside were fine. Nothing tasted off, but I also wasn't wowed by anything. My opinion of Mendocino is like an upscale healthy fast food place and it now feels like just a healthy fast food place. I'm not trying to hate on Mendocino, it's just for the price, they need to justify what I'm paying for. The service was great and there's parking in the back, so at least they have that going for them. read more

We had the tofu banh mi sandwich, a small side of the curry couscous, a small side of the potato salad, and the impossible taco salad. Everything was so delicious. We actually got the potato salad as a comp item because our food took a little bit longer and they asked us what we would like while we waited. Such good customer service! While the vegan options are delicious, I do wish there were more of them, because I would certainly eat here more often. My toddler loves Mendocino and we often go to the location in Studio City and also to this one in Burbank. In terms of food quality they're comparable (everything is always fresh and great) but when it comes to customer service this location is the clear winner! Everyone who works there is super nice and attentive but Jose is our favorite - he goes above and beyond to help us out and he is so sweet. Always greets us with a smile on his face. I originally ordered the not so fried chicken sandwich. I have had it before, but it was probably 10 years ago? I was expecting a hot sandwich...it was not. It was still good. For many years my weekly salad was Mama Chens Chinese Chicken Salad with the best miso dressing. Why did you feel the need to change this salad and the dressing -which is watery in texture and without the same flavor?!? Firstly, they welcome my 94lb dog! Then Jose was friendly and helpful to Simba and me. It was my first time here and didn't know what to order and both Simba and I were hungry. Jose helped by asking me what I felt like and I said I needed salad with chicken, he recommended Caesar. And for Simba I specified toast with cheese and a protein, he asked if Turkey was on since the chicken they had was seasoned already. So we went with turkey cheese toast for Simba. I took the receipt, scanned the QR on the table, keyed in receipt number and waited. Meanwhile everyone of the staff who served other customers on the patio already knew Simba's name. So sweet. Not long after, our orders came. My salad had texture! Crispy romaine, crispier toasted quinoa, tasty grilled chicken. So so good. I dare say it's the best Cesar I've ever had.
