Update - I completed the survey on the receipt and within an hour the manager of Springdale contacted me, refunded my money and stated he would send me a gift card. That's great service. I have updated my review to three stars to reflect. I really do like Slim Chickens. The Rogers location is great and I've never had a problem. I have had multiple issues with the Springdale location. Most recently, a 12 minute wait time I drive through from order placement until food received (that doesn't count time waiting before my order was placed), and my order was still incorrect! I asked for grilled tenders and it was ordered as grilled on the receipt, but received fried. I've also gotten a salad from this location that was just sad. This store just isn't managed well and it shows. read more

We visited Slim Chicken on the LU campus on graduation day. Every entry was locked but one. Once in they told us they wouldn't make any shakes as they had cleaned the machine the night before (???) They also gave us a run down of what they "wouldn't" make, like grilled chicken. We (3 couples) placed orders consecutively. The first couple received their food promptly. After 30 minutes the 2nd couple was served and after a scouting mission and being told our food was served to someone else the 3rd couple was served with fries missing. Quickly remedied we asked for Extra ranch and were told it was an extra charge....after waiting 45 minutes for food. My husband picked up two Slim's Plates tonight, and the food was clearly old. We live less than 3 minutes away, but when we opened the boxes, the chicken was cold, the fries were soggy and completely unseasoned, and even the Sprite was out of syrup. I'm pregnant, so this was especially frustrating as I had been craving Slim's all day and expected a fresh meal. Instead, we got food that had obviously been sitting for a while. What I did not like was there was they added an extra fee if you ordered through the app. That is a bad business model. The interior was fast food standard. The food is good except the fries which are always cold. Everytime I have gone thru the drive thru I never get my full order. Ok, so back in April I wrote a review on Slim Chickens and gave it a 3-star, mainly because the staff was good. Didn't like the chicken. But, I received a comment from Slim Chickens that suggested: "If you visit us again, try having your tenders tossed in a sauce." So, it was late a few nights ago and my wife and I needed food and we had a BOGO chicken meal at Slim Chicken. "Alright.....let's try it one more time, this time with sauces." We both got the Slim's Plate (5 tenders, toast, fries, a drink and 2 sauces each). The sauces we got were Cayenne Ranch, Honey Mustard, Garlic Parmesan, and Korean BBQ. After the order through drive-thru, here is the where things went downhill. First, we pulled up to the window and were not acknowledged for a full minute (fyi, we were the only ones in line). Then, when the young lady opened the window, she looked tired and no smile (probably a long day at work, so I can be patient with that). She ran my card, gave me my card and receipt and then we waited.....and waited....and waited.....and waited. 5-10 minutes when by. Still no one else in line behind us. It was odd. That seems like a long time to wait, even if they just dropped the chicken into the fryer. When did get our food and it was all hot. So, I guess it is fine. Wish they would have communicated it was gonna take a bit of time, though. Well, we got home, opened the chicken and sauces and I was ready to have my mind blown by the selection. Had some fries.... eh, they were ok, nothing special. Then, we ate the chicken by itself, and I stand behind my last review = it was lacking any flavor. So, let's do the recommended sauces. We had the Honey Mustard.....tastes like store bought = nothing special & we don't like! We then had the Korean BBQ ..... not good either, too sweet, kinda syrupy. We tried the Cayenne Ranch......ok, that was better. Then went to the Garlic Parm......."ew" is the word that came out of our mouths. It was slimy and repulsive. We then stuck to the Cayenne ranch and dare not touch the rest. All in all, I have to downgrade to 2-star because the chicken has not improved and the sauces don't help. We were staying at the holiday inn, .6 miles away. We ordered online (family meal, nothing fancy) to be delivered. Order was completed at 7:45, was supposed to be delivered at 8:15. We were waiting in the lobby since 8:14. It was delivered at 8:41! I had to remind him he was missing our tea, he forgot that. The tea was hot and the food was cold and tasted awful. When I ordered online, I didn't include the tip because I wanted to give it to him when he delivered the food. I think he left ours till last because it wasn't put on my credit card. I am extremely disappointed in the sunset Ave location. I have been twice recently and had terrible experiences. The first time I emailed corporate about a hair in my food AND the workers in the drive thru activity making fun of a customer who could not roll down his window and had to open his door to grab food. Poor service from this location the last 3 times I've been in. The girl with the black hair at the window shoved the drinks in my face and when we asked which was the coke zero and which was the dr. I am literally begging all fast food restaurants in northwest Arkansas to a) pay your employees a wage that motivates them and gets them to care about their work and b) train and invest in your employees so they don't suck and c) staff your restaurants properly. I am so tired of ordering from people that are clearly overworked and don't care about what they're doing. This is a seemingly area wide issue but (this) Slim's appears to be the worst. The line always takes foreverrrrrrr (long enough for me to type this review and then some) to get through. I genuinely am a patient person. My family visited this evening for dinner. We ordered 4 meals and it took a 35 minutes to get our food. One meal came out after 20 minutes so it was cold waiting on the rest of our order. The food wasn't very hot. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was too busy to talk to me. I said I would like to talk to someone about the experience. A team lead was sent out and was apologetic and offered to pay for our food. We declined the offer since our goal is for them to improve service rather than get a free meal. The restaurant seemed to fill all online orders before in store customers. The restaurant was not understaffed either. Other customers were complaining of the same issue when we left in the parking lot. The Rogers, Arkansas location is significantly better with food and service. read more

Received a coupon for a chicken sandwich for getting the slim chicken app. When I ordered the sandwich Blake had to be told 3 times it wasn't a combo then on top of that tried to charge me $3 for cup of water. The service was super slow, no clue on customer service. First time to eat at a slims. Next time I'll come during lunch or dinner maybe the service will be better. Fantastic sandwich though. Made to order, which some of the slowness, and worth it. I had a cayenne ranch chicken sandwich. Plus the dining room wasn't open even though it was after 10:30 am. Had to go through drive-thru.
