I asked for a full refund because I was not getting what I was told I was getting. I want everyone to know that I've subscribed to a few streaming channels and Never, have I ever, had issues like with Peacock. O don't think that I even hit the ," Annual one time fee" box. I have 7 hours of recordings but stats in dvr settings shows I have 50 hours used. I have reported issue 5 times and scripted loop of AI chat worthless not resolving. they can't communicate with ypu as a paying customer no ticket logging in issue ...instead falls into black hole absolutely zero accountability. programming amd commercials are inappropriate for family watching. read more

I signed up for Sling for mostly the sports channels only to find out that half the sports I wanted to watch was blackout, so I couldn't watch them anyway. I had Sling in the past so I signed up for 3 months for $115. However, after learning that I can't watch most of the teams I wanted to watch, I requested a refund. I've had the app for 8 days and have logged, according to them, 10+ hours of viewing so they say they can't provide me a refund for the 10 weeks I don't watch to watch it. That's BS. If I had known I couldn't watch half the sports I wanted to, I would've never signed up. I guess all I can do now is CANCEL at the end of my period and never sign up with them again. They don't care about their customers. Just another company looking to make money. read more

It's just like at the supermarket when they ask people to do their own checking out so that they can save the expense of their employee doing it, basically having us do our own "work", without being paid for it! I'm fed up with the rapidly escalating cost of cable and have been experimenting with streaming TV services on a single television as a prelude to completely cutting the cable cord. Sling TV ain't it. Although easy to install on my Amazon Fire Stick, the service is balky and unreliable resulting in excessive buffering and poor imaging. And there's really nothing to say about their disappearing act "customer service" which is simply nonexistent. Before I move on to YouTube TV, I downloaded Xfinity Stream which is free under my current cable contract and found the interface workable but far more primitive than the standard cable version and clearly not sophisticated enough to keep me under Comcast's "raise rates at will" jackboot. Sling TV does not have customer service, other than an AI chatbot that dropped out of school in the second grade. There was an 888 number, but that is no longer in service. When the service fails, in my case there is a hangup in the app, its service and payment recognition system, its back systems, about account status, well: YOU. ARE. ON. YOUR. OWN. My conclusion: Echostar is pumping Sling's net by a combination of gassing streaming revenue while cutting attendant customer service. Echostar is scaling its Sling subsidiary by zeroing out interaction with its customers, AKA, human beings. read more

Basically it just sucks. The promote day pass games for whatever game, but you pay for the pass and it is not the game as advertised. The paid version is clunky and had errors. I have the premium version and still can't watch the football game for which I have paid. If there is a customer support number, finding it is like pulling teeth. If I could give a minus, I would. Every number given to call and you get a message that the number is no longer in service. And if you go to their website and try to cancel, forget it! If you can't remember your password, they'll supposedly send you a code to reset, but they never send it. This makes it nearly impossible to cancel. Then, they will ask for the last 4 numbers on the card you used to subscribe. And, of course, they say that is wrong, too, even though YOU'VE JUST BEEN CHARGED FOR THE SECOND TIME!!! So, now, the only solution I can see is to cancel my card and get a completely new number, which is highly inconvenient as is this conversation, but you need to know that if you sign up with these people... Great price for select channel package but lots of quality issues. I have several streaming apps and Sling is the only one that buffers constantly, freezes and then goes black, and I have to delete the app on my TV at least once a week and reinstall it, which sometimes works to fix the issues. When I call in to get tech support, it's first if all difficult to connect with a live person, and when I do, they just want me to reboot my modem and router, which I've already done at that point and doesn't fix the problem anyway, and then the only solution they have to offer is to delete the app and reinstall it, which I also had already done before calling. Really poor service, but the price is good. read more

I created an account online on 1/13/24 to watch the NFL playoff games. A couple of minutes into the first game (Browns vs Texans 2024) the volume went out. I spent an hour trying to get the volume back. The chat dept didn't fix the problem. Now 2 hours in missing game. The next day I called customer service to get a refund because the problem wasn't fixed. They do not offer refunds! Ha! 2 days into service 1/15/24. Youtube Tv, Hulu, Prime Video, Peacock and every other video I played worked good with video. I started a Sling TV subscription one month ago. The first month cost $35, and subsequent months were to be auto-renewed at $40 per month. This morning Sling TV charged my credit card $45 instead of $40, and they are refusing to refund the $5 difference. Today I have tried to work with Sling TV via their online chat service, and I have spoken with multiple call representatives. They told me that my service area--San Francisco, CA--has extra channels, so my service costs an extra $5 per month. I explained that the My Account section of their website lists $40 as the cost of my service. I explained that there is no mention of $5 for extra channels. I told them that I was looking at the $40 cost in real time while talking with them on the phone. I also told them that I could send them a photo of my computer screen that showed the $40 charge listed on My Account. They told me that the $40 listing was probably due to a software mistake and said they would report the issue to engineering. They also insisted that the correct price was $45 and told me that they could not refund the $5 difference. They said that I could not talk with a supervisor who might help me. They said that they could not connect me to someone at a higher corporate level who would have the authority to the mistake. Essentially, I was told that they were going to keep the extra $5, and there was nothing that they or I could do about it. Charging $5 over the $40 service cost that is clearly listed on their on website is fraudulent. I wonder how many other customers are being overcharged in a similar fashion. read more
