I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

And it's not just my opinion as they were recently recognized in SLO Times. With a new menu monthly--offering locally sourced ingredients--everything is always a win! I'm constantly ordering something new to try but my go to is the amazing spicy chai latte. The way they make it cannot be beat by anyone in the area! Ok that may just be my opinion but I dare you to tell me otherwise. This day I ordered the strawberry basil waffle with whipped mascarpone and olive oil with of course my favorite: the spicy chai latte!!! They're so good that it's just one of those dishes that you wished stayed on the menu permanently. They have something for everyone and I recommend everything here!!! Also don't be surprised if there is a long queue in the morning. The wait is worth it!!!

Shared some of the homemade scones and had an avocado toast with a latte and really enjoyed it! They have free coffee refills (not specialty drinks) which is an added bonus. The place isn't very big so when it's crowded it can get hard to find a place to sit while your food is getting prepared and it can also be a little loud. But overall, enjoyed it and would come back on occasion.

We had a last minute scheduling glitch and happily wound up inviting relatives for a last minute…read moreThanksgiving dinner. We decided to go with Whole Foods catering now that SLO Provisions is gone. It was a bit tricky to find the site online, but we finally struck gold. I also found a Youtube that described the dishes, and showed how they were packaged. The catering department has lots of selections and you can buy the entire Thanksgiving meal, or build one by picking the items you want. We opted for the turkey breast meal for 89.99, which comes with mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. We also chose Hawaiian rolls and a premade apple pie to have as desert. We got in line at the hospitality desk, and only had to wait about 10 minutes for the meal to come out. All the food was there, but there were no general directions, and only the mashed potatoes and gravy had times or instructions for reheating. We did find instructions online, The online directions were to reheat the turkey breast for 24-30 minutes at 375, but the skin looked raw, and it needed a butter basting. We decided to cook it the day ahead, and it took 1 1/2 hours at 375 to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees, which is safe to eat. We figure it must have been frozen and the very middle would not heat as fast. I roasted it in a big pan, using forks as a rack, and added carrots, celery and a chopped onion to some chicken broth basting liquid. The green beans were nice and fresh, but only parboiled, so we boiled them, and I turned them into the green bean casserole with mushroom soup, and mushrooms, using grated parmesan and crispy onion bits to top it. We heated the mashed potatoes and gravy on the stove, adding butter to the mashed potatoes. I added a sweet potato and pineapple casserole which uses maple syrup as the sweetener and topped it with tiny marshmallows for the kids. We the turkey in the oven 15 minutes before the green bean casserole, the sweet potato casserole, stuffing, and the carrots, then added the food for 30 more minutes at 375. We checked everything for 165, took it out , then heated the roles for about 5 minutes, and put the marshmallows on top of the sweet potato casserole to brown. The result was that everything was perfectly cooked and piping hot at the same time! The turkey and mashed potatoes were great! Moist cooked turkey with great flavor from the butter and additional herbs. The transformed green beans were tasty, and the stuffing was good. The only miss was the cranberry relish, which had a weird, gooey consistency and was more like cranberry butter, then relish, but we had a can in the pantry and used that instead. All in all great value, but a lot of labor to boost the flavor!!
