A unique offering for a mall. I've been going to this mall since I was a kid and would have never expected a Thai place to ever make it into their food court. I did expect food to take a long time but I think the leftover wok burners when this was a Mongolian bbq location made it come out quickly. The food itself was pretty good but pricey. There was a paper price change on the menu and at the new price of $13 was a bit steep for the crab Rangoon roll.
Fast, fresh and friendly! Over all would go back to try a real meal! Their take on ragons is very new and honestly delicious!

Having enjoyed their Liberty Station location, we had to stop by Slurp while we were here in Escondido Mall. Their menu here is different, focusing more on Thai street food. Their location is in the Escondido mall food court with open seating. Service was very friendly, quick, and helped us indecisive decision makers to select their star items. Happy to say we enjoyed every bite! Their chicken wings were crispy and tasty!! Our little one loved the crab fried rice and couldn't get enough. Me with a sweet tooth of course my favorite was the amazing mango sticky rice!! Will definitely come by here again

I saw maybe 3 employees running the whole shop and they worked hard to get the line of orders out as soon as they could! I picked up a crab Rangoon roll and chicken pad Thai. The crab Rangoon roll I hope you bring friends. Each piece was large and stuff with crab filling, fried perfectly. The sweet sauce they pair it with is so good, I wished I could eat more of it. I was most excited for the pad Thai and pleasantly surprised it came with both chicken and tofu. The pad Thai was very filling and portion sizes seem very shareable if you order a few different entrees to try! I'm so happy the mall food court seems to be expanding into so many different types of food options
Had to try this viral crab Rangoon rolls. For the price they give a big portion! It was okay in my opinion, more on the sweet side when I was expecting it to be a bit more savory. The staff is super nice. I have yet to try other items of their menu!

This could be the best eatery in the mall. I am very happy with the quality and taste of the food here. The mall has a few decent options but this one is by far the best choice for me. The service was fast. The food took a bit to make but I like knowing it is freshly cooked. The mall is loud but we sat across in a more guiet area and enjoyed the buns, shrimp and rolls. So goood!

I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the Papaya Salad Combo which comes with 4 pieces of chicken. $18.99 per order which came out to be about a $20 meal. Spice level is out of 1-5. You can choose from Thai or Lao style. I got the Lao style and if you've had it before, the sauce must be pungent and spicy to be good. The chicken came out crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside but in my opinion they need to cut down the soy sauce in their marinade a bit. It was a little too salty and overpowering paired with the bold flavors of the salad. It would be better if this combo came with a side of sticky rice.

I grew up around Lao people so the krapow tastes very much like how I remember from my childhood. The green beans were still crunchy and perfect. The spice level 4 is definitely not for the weak but I really enjoyed it. There was even a whole ass Thai chili in there and you know ya girl took a bite and couldn't stop lol. 10 out 10 for sure! We will try the pad Thai next time!
New Thai addition to Escondido with original location in Liberty Station. Tried the viral crab Rangoon rolls. Can definitely see why they're so popular. It's a huuuge serving, would definitely share as an appetizer with three to four other people. It's a very rich dish to have on its own as an entree. Filling was slightly sweet, creamy and dotted with pieces of imitation crab. Liked how it was wrapped in a crispy tortilla of sorts and served with a sweet and sour type of sauce. I'll be back to try other items.
I'm all for diamonds in the rough. Especially when the diamond's shine cuts through drab mall decor and completely upends expectation. Slurp embraces everything awesome about Thai food with none of the extraneous western influences that simply detract from the food. They serve the tastiest food Thailand has to offer, street food, and they do it fast with a smile as if you were on a street corner in Bangkok. From pad kra pow to crab omelette, pretty much everything on the menu is some sort of fusion / street food goodie that is as close to real Thai food as it gets (stateside at least). Nevermind it's in the food court of a mall. Ignore the broccoli haired Gen Alpha's wandering aimlessly around. This place will transport you to the heart of the Thai street food scene by the first bite. And in true street food fashion, if you want something custom, just ask. The cooks are Thai and after a little translation (from the person at the register) they deliver made-to-order perfection. And if you want a real taste of Thailand make sure you order spicy level 10 ("fire-in-the-bunghole") but if you want the real Thai spice level ask for 20. Slurp redefines "mall food" to the extent that "I going to the mall" means I'm coming home with authentic Thai food rather than Hello Kitty artifacts from Miniso. read more

A nice addition added to the mall's food court. I saw this place trending on IG for their Crab Rangoon Roll/ Burrito a while back. I finally got to order one to see what the hype was about. It was good, but super filling. My kids ordered a spicy ttebouki bowl from the place next door, and I used that as the dipping sauce. IT WAS THE BEST COMBO EVER. read more

This place is actually pretty good for mall food! There's a lot of options available including some non-Thai options interestingly (Chinese pork buns). We ordered the pad see ew, which was yummy and crab omelet which was delicious! The mango in the mango sticky rice was sweet and juicy. Coconut shrimp was also crispy and had a great flavor. read more

This was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. I forgot to take a picture of the menu but it was super good. I ordered the pad see ew and I loved it. You can have a spice range from 0-5. I cant really handle spicy so i got 0. It was really good. I cant wait to go back. Service was really good and since its at the mall theres plenty of parking and seating. read more

I had to return, and this time I ordered the Pad see ew with veggies (spice level 2) and mango sticky rice. Wow, the pad see ew was SO good. I was impressed. And can never go wrong with the mango sticky rice. I will say that the mango was not as ripe as I'd like but it was still 4/5. Service is superb, they're very kind. It's super clean and organized in there. So excited to have Slurp nearby! read more

Service was very quick and friendly, it smelled great even as you got close them. The drunken noodles were so yummy and spicy despite being only a level 2! The Rangoon rolls were tasty, but it had a lot of cream cheese instead of the crab and I wasn't a fan on the texture. It was a lot of food though, definitely good for sharing! read more

I, like the rest of Tiktok was loosing my mind over these giant crab rangoons but the Liberty Station location always seemed too chaotic. When I found out there was another site at North County mall, I almost cried. They were made FRESH and I was almost contemplating burning myself to eat them. The crunch factor was there and solid half n half ratio of imitation crab to cream cheese (tbh I'm more of cream-cheese heavy person but that's because I'm big and greedy). I will say I wasn't the biggest fan of the sweet chili sauce that came with the Crab Rangoon roll and found myself dipping it in the curry, a not-necessary step to enjoy the roll. I also ordered the panang curry with vegetables and tofu. YUM. Also served extremely fresh and was generous with the toppings! The staff was extremely nice and I will be coming again. read more

Tried Slurp in the North County Mall food court and was seriously impressed. I got the papaya salad and wings combo. Honestly, that's one of my favorite combos ever and they nailed it. The papaya salad is Lao-style, full of flavor and that funky kick (in the best way possible). The wings were super crispy and juicy. The perfect balance. We also got the crab fried rice, and it was so good. Not greasy, and you can actually taste the crab. Definitely coming back to try more. This spot is a hidden gem in the mall. Should've thought twice about getting Thai food at a mall food court. Worst papaya salad I've ever had. I also ordered it lvl 1 spicy level and it was still spicy. The wings that came with it were also undercooked. I stopped eating them from fear of food poisoning. Thai tea was wayyyyy too sweet. There's a reason there was no line at this place. read more
The food was delicious! I'm still thinking about it. I'm happy that DoorDash delivers. I will continue to get food from there from the comfort of my own home. I feel like that stall has the worst luck though, so I'm hoping they will stay in business. If not I will single-handedly keep them in business myself. My son had the pad see ew. Delicious! The Food is absolutely amazing. The smell of the crab & the crab meat inside the eggs. Nothing go wrong here. The cashier guy is really nice. I highly recommend people to go eat here for those who love South East Asian Food. read more
