Slyce has been my favorite pizza in Fort Collins since forever, and when it came time to select a caterer for our wedding we had the absolute delight of going through Slyce!! If you need an event/party/wedding/whatever catered I can't recommend them highly enough. Their catering options are awesome, we got to completely customize the pizzas and salads we served, and they brought these sick little mini pizza ovens to our venue so our guests had the same experience as people do in Slyces shop, it was so cool. Everyone we worked with was so kind and genuine, but I have to give an especially huge shoutout to Emily, thanks for everything you did for us. Also, Slyce was super accommodating to the varying dietary restrictions our guests had. I was told by multiple people that they served the best gluten free and vegan pizza they'd ever had. Our wedding food was delicious and memorable, thanks so much Slyce. Can't recommend their catering enough! read more

Slyce is an Old Town pizza favorite, voted year after year as a top tier pizza restaurant in Fort Collins. They offer a unique take on NY style pizza - twisting traditional NY style with creative concoctions of pizza flavors including chicken cordon bleu, macaroni and cheese, pinapple barbeque, and Nashville hot chicken among others. It's location is easy to access, albeit parking can be difficult, and it boasts a casual ambiance perfect for a small pizza parlor. Their unique pizza creations mean there is generally something new to try anytime you visit. However, the traditionalists need not fret as they still offer traditional pepperoni and cheese pies. The major downside of Slyce is their pizza prep and ordering setup. They bake a lot of pies in advance for those who want individual slices. Then, when you order, they reheat the slices you want. This results in an overcooked crust which is borderline burnt and a cornicione that is so hard it's inedible. Instead of buying by the slice, I will need to try buying an entire, freshly baked pie to see if the crust sucks as much that way. If they would bake individual slices to order as other establishments do, they would drastically increase quality. Overall, it's a good pizza restaurant. It stands out for the variety of topping combinations and would make a great place for college kids to eat after a night out. However, there are better options in Northern Colorado. read more

As a New Yorker, I LOVE pizza and I am super picky. We've lived here now for almost 5 years and I must admit it's been hard to find a great pizza spot... But my son came in to town from Denver and I asked around a few of my friends to find out what their pizza recommendation would be. Based on their feedback I chose to get a large pepperoni and sausage pizza from Slyce! Since I am eating Paleo... All I could do was drool all over it!! During social distancing, Slyce is only offering pizza by the slice or 12" or 20" pizzas to-go. Having never tried Slyce before, I'd figure I'd give it a shot by getting a 12" Great Pizza Caper (artichoke, portabella mushroom, capers) and 20" Cheese. Both were delicious. I could see myself getting a 20" Cheese again if trying to be economical and wanting a lot of good tasting, simple pizza. 20" Cheese at $20 for a quality pizzeria is a solid option. Slyce is handling COVID-19 protocols well, kind staff from my experience, and they make a delicious pie. Depending upon the time of day, you should be able to find a parking spot on Mountain near Slyce. I definitely would return to Slyce when in the mood for pizza and try out some of their other unique vegetarian options! read more

Great pizza by the slice spot! Plus, loved the patio! We chilled outside and enjoyed the 70 degree weather with the and beer. This pizza spot has lots of varieties including a loaded potato or Mac and cheese. We had the eggplant Parmesan and the pepperoni and Italian sausage slices. Was pretty excited to try this place out because they have so many yummy looking options. Slightly disappointing. I got the Mac and cheese slice which had quite a few uncooked macaroni noodles. It also tasted semi-stale like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The frEnch fry slice would have been amazing if there wasn't an immense amount of barbecue sauce on top. The pizza is good. This is a review specifically for the new "speak cheesy" downstairs. Basically a spot for over-flow with tables and that's it. No bar to sit at. Beer and canned wine only (not that OBC wine isn't good!). Super bright. Not great ambience. "Cheesy" rhyming with "easy" is not a good enough reason to imply speak-easy-ness; with the kids it feels more romper room. Finally, know the industry is difficult these days but scanning menus and placing orders on a phone is so 2021; it's time for that "innovation" to go into the dustbin. Bottom line: Nothing speakeasy about this place. But a good spot if you want a table for your family for pizza. Too bad. Location has legs with a bit more vision. 2-12-19 New monthly special ragin Cajun is awesome!! Shrimp, penne, spicy! But with structure so it holds itself flat when you eat it. Amazing! Plus if you bring your to go box back in they give a free loyalty punch to reward you saving trees!! Yum!!!! Seriously! I just had the jalapeño popper pizza of the month and it's delicious!! Very unique take on ny style. If you are a pizza traditionalist then this might now be the place for you. They have some crazy combos with a ton of toppings. I had the Hawaiian which wasn't bad, could have gone for spicy ranch or no ranch. I like the crust and the pizza was cooked well and employees were welcoming. At the time they only had beer or bottled soda so that was a turn off for us having 2 toddlers they stuck to spilling the free water cups. Parking is also a nightmare being in old town. We parked a solid 8 minute walk away because it was the closest parking we could find. If this was in a little more open location it would be a jackpot. We were satisfied with the visit, just be prepared to walk unless you go on a off time. read more

OMG this didn't look like much when we walked by it. But this was by far the best pizza I've ever had. I get their 20" Cheese Pie as my go to order and the pizza tastes exactly like how it would be like if you got it in New York. Whenever I'm missing home, I come to Slyce and the pizza brings me back to my childhood. The crust is thin and crispy just the way I like it and the pizza sauce is the right consistency (more on the watery side), and the cheese they use melts correctly too). I'm from Brooklyn and I'm giving this place 5-stars. Not because it has comparable pizza, but because they think outside the box here and serve up some combinations that actually work very well. Macaroni and cheese, mashed potato and chicken, and ravioli pizzas plus so many others are what's on the menu. While the menu sounds like Ceci's, you will never mistake one for the other. Super thin crust with ridiculous toppings (all premium slices are $5.)
