    Smash burger
    Onglee X.

I had been craving a good meaty burger all week. I was too lazy to leave the house , so I ordered delivery from DoorDash. The burgers looked really good, and I liked how they had sauces to go. I ordered the Super smash burger, fries with their seasoning and their extra smash sauce. The burger is meaty and huge, very sauce as well. I didn't like the seasoning on the fries. I can't figure out what kind of seasoning it is. I did like the smash sauce. I enjoyed the soft bun, but with the burger so saucy, the bun soaked it up and fell apart. Then the whole burger fell apart. It was an alright burger and ok fries.

Sma5h is a halal burger spot that I found that opened recently. Their smash burger patties are pretty thin but still juicy. Their signature sauce kind of reminded me of a campfire sauce but more on the sweet side. It was good combination. I would definitely reccomend the fries. Staff: Okay, kept to themselves (4/5) Sanitation status: (5/5) Supreme Smash (4/5) The burger was good, the patties were thin. I couldn't really taste the beef bacon strip in the burger and would opt not to get it next time. Everything else tasted good though with the patty, it was juicy as well. Fries (5/5) These fries were so good omg. The seasoning on these fries was a good blend of salty, smokey, and a hint of sweetness. Strawberry Lemonade (3/5) The Strawberry Lemonade was pretty okay, it was too sweet for me and it tasted a little artificial to me.

I am excited that this place has just opened in Renton. Not only is it convenient but it's a true smash burger place. Tried it for lunch today, but be warned it's across from Renton High School and it gets inundated with students at lunch time. We were there before the rush by the time we left there were more than 40 orders on the board from the crowd. First, know that you are ordering a Kiosk, and then folks assemble the food and bring it too you. There are lots of seats and overall the place is kind of hip but cold steel tables and wall coverings. I ordered Sma5h Fries, Supreme Sma5h, and a Vanilla Shake. Everything was great. I loved the burger, if I did it again, I would remove the food of my food (vegetables) the lettuce, pickle, and tomato are not needed and it would have been better. The grilled onions are perfect, it's crunchy, good flavor, and lots of meat. The bun was good too. The fries were good, although by the time I was eating them, not only were the potatoes cold, so was the sauce. Perhaps they sat, I took too long, or they just needed to start hotter. With that, they were great. SO much sauce they were almost swimming, which is not a bad thing. The shake was good, wish they had more flavor options but I stuck with vanilla. If you are in the area and want a good burger, go here!

We had a great experience here. The staff was friendly, and the food was so good and came out quick. The loaded fries were incredible and you really get your moneys worth- my boyfriend and I just split one order and it was enough to stuff us both. I was expecting the sauces to taste burger-like but the sauce was unique and so delicious. The milkshake was great as well!

Quick and easy smash burger. The fries portion is huge! You can easily share one order of fries between two people. Good portion where you don't feel like you're in a food coma afterwards but also big enough that you're satisfied.

Saw the reviews and was wondering how this place would be like. We love hamburgers and sounded like a good spot. This place has been a few different restaurants from the past, so hoping this place will stay awhile. The service is via a screen and not much interaction with a human other than receiving your food. Not very friendly or personable. The restaurant is basic and nothing special. Good hamburger, bland service and a plain Jane space. I'll try it one more time to see how this place progresses. Try the loaded fries.

I was so happy to hear SMA5H had expanded to a second location in Renton and had to stop by. I ordered the Supreme Smash, a two patty smash-burger on a brioche bun. Service was quick and easy and my burger was ready in about 5 minutes. What stood out to me was the well seasoned and crisp edged beef patties, crispy beef bacon, and a tasty burger sauce. The pictures don't really do it justice but they are so well crafted, big and delicious smash-burgers. I'm so happy that to have a new go to burger spot in Renton!

Clean, simple burger establishment. Burger came out quickly and didn't look like anything special but was definitely tasty. I really liked their fries and burger sauce. It reminded me of spread at in-n-out. Prices aren't terribly great (especially for the area that it's in) but the portion sizes of the sides are easily sharable.

I've been eyeballing this spot and finally got a chance to try it! I loved the flavors and overall quality of everything, the portions were bigger than expected! What we ordered: - Supreme Burger - Super Burger - Loaded Fries - Sweet Potato Fries - Oreo Shake Overall both burgers were good size and had great consistency throughout, we did order it as takeout so the brioche buns got a bit soggy so it was very messy to eat once we got home with it. But the brioche buns were fluffy and buttery, not sure if it'll be as messy fresh if you dine-in (would not recommend eating in car without wipes). Loaded fries were holy freaking delicious with all the house sauce, meat, and toppings, it can easily feed 2-3 people with how filling they were. I was a big fan of their house/smash sauce, it has the touch of sweetness with spices that I love. Service was fast, called in our order instead of using the site and it was going to be ready in 15 mins. When we got there, the place wasn't busy but I really liked the wall art and setup of the location, looks like a spot that's ready to take orders when busy with tablets and counter register. Easy to find parking right outside too. Will gladly come back again to have another burger or 2!

All the burgers are amazing. Don't miss out on the loaded fries - they're well seasoned and have the right amount of sauce and meat.

She has been going on and on about this "Fire Breather" burger for a bit. First things first, exceptionally clean and friendly place. Seated quickly and very attentive to us and the rest of the patrons there. Broad selection of food and adult beverages. Breakfast till 1:00 pm on Sat/Sun so it was hard for me to decide what I wanted as I had my mind set on the "Pub Club" but noticed that they had Chicken Fried Steak, oh the choices.... Not disappointed on the "Pub Club" it was Yumi! It was full of all the things that make a "Club Sandwich", the kicker was it had "pepper bacon" on it! My sandwich was piled with meat cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Now this is where it gets interesting, I added some of the aforementioned "Fire Breather Sauce" to it, just a bit. It is freakin Habanero Pepper Mayo(ish) sauce, WOW or should I say YEOW! Not just hot but exploding with flavor. As stated, my lunch partner had the "Fire Breather" burger w/ added Pepper Bacon and Avocado. It was more than a mouth full of dripping yum. Meat done perfectly, nice fresh avocado, thick pieces of pepper bacon done to perfection. After seeing and eating the pepper bacon I decided to take home a BLTA with cheddar cheese. The onion rings were some of the best I have had in a while. Beer was cold and wet! Overall, a great meal and you will too. The words of the day today are "Pepper Bacon"

The staff is very friendly, as always. Our server gave us great recommendations! We love the atmosphere here, very casual, no pressure to rush. Breakfasts came out fast. Our server recommended the corned beef hash. It had bits of corned beef. I tried the Fiesta Scramble. Nice thick sourdough toast. The scramble was tasty. It came with jo-jo type potatoes (which are not a fav). Hubs got chicken fried steak. He's a bit of a connoisseur and said it was decent. This was a nice low key spot for weekend breakfast. It is 21+ only.

A fantastic example of a great restaurant with an owner that can't get out of the way. From the…read morereviews and ranking on Google I had very high expectations and drove from my hotel in Tukwila to see this place and overall was very disappointed. The core of this restaurant and its food is great. Fresh meat burgers, grass fed, cooked and ground to order paired with the best possible pairings. The spirit of this restaurant is phenomenal and if someone else were to come in and buy them out and maintain the same business model I could see this restaurant being massively successful as a quick service restaurant model similar to Five Guys or In-and-Out. The *idea* is great. The reality is not. I get the feeling this restaurant has been in a long decline after reading a lot of other reviews and noticing trends. Like other people have mentioned, I walked into the owner at a table using it as an office space on his laptop. Not a great look, especially with the exterior looking how it does, but it's a hole in the wall restaurant from a self made chef who started off in a food truck - best things come in small packages right? I understand not having investment capital or lease permissions to do certain things. The place is empty, just us and the owner at the table. He takes our order, but not before launching into the sales pitch about how good his food is - once again, I get it. I worked in hospitality and restaurants a long time and have been the guy trying to hype up my restaurant or catering service before. He was nice, but his sales pitch quickly turned uncomfortable as he started deriding and complaining about just about everything related to the modern world and food systems, using each grievance as an opportunity to pat himself on the back. It was uncomfortable to say the least - I came for a burger, not a Dr. Oz segment. This continued across the entire meal, and despite trying to give every polite social indicator we weren't interested in talking to him, continued to talk, even after extended periods of silence. Anyway, we ordered the Taco Burger, Luxury Mushroom Burger, and a large order of fries. To start with the good - the fries were delicious, if slightly over salted. They were crispy and well done (A personal favorite, but some may not like that) and the roasted garlic aioli was absolutely phenomenal. The cheese on the burgers was awesome and just this massive blob of pizza commercial stringy goodness. The truffle burger wasn't over-truffled, which is always a risk with truffle products and overall was really great - and the texture of their burgers is something really special. The grind is very lean and almost coarse or shredded, which makes for a really great burger that constantly reminds you that it is a ground steak, not commercial ground beef. However, the food wasn't without faults - the biggest issue was that on the bottom of the taco burger's bun there was a chunk of raw meat smashed into it - not rare or blue, but never-has-seen-fire raw pink ground beef. Not really being that scared of raw meat I didn't say anything but just tore it off and made a hole in the bun when I saw it, but having worked restaurants that's a pretty massive mistake as raw food and prepared food shouldn't be sharing surfaces without sanitizing much less touching. Beyond that, the burger itself was extremely salty, which I'm normally the type of person that likes really salty foods, but it was overwhelming with the taco seasoning just all over it. The other issue I had with it was that the toppings were just kind of indistinguishable, and the whole thing very much just tasted like straight taco seasoning - which made sense once given the context that he made the taco burger "as a joke". Also, the burger was not consistently cooked, with one side being medium and the other side being rare (the color of my husbands burger that was ordered rare) If there was a 2.5 rating, that's what I would give it. To me, a 2 is a restaurant I wouldn't voluntarily go back to but if someone wanted to or it was the only option I would and a 3 is a restaurant that I wouldn't go out of my way to go to, but would maybe stop at if I was in the area or it was convenient. This is somewhere inbetween that. I want to give them another chance and I might - but the cross contamination and horribly uncomfortable experience make me hesitant to try it again - *especially* after seeing how this owner interacts with other bad reviews on Google.

We wanted to dine in on a Thursday night after a movie at the Regal but unfortunately got here 15 minutes before their closing time at 10pm so we had to get our food for takeout. That being said, there were some people ahead and behind us lining up to order, so there were still people like us wanting to eat around that time. It is very bright in here for both the dining area and the kitchen, and there are tables for mostly groups of 2-4 people. Once you place your order up at the counter, you can pick up napkins and get condiments like ketchup before your order number on your receipt is called by staff. From all my visits here, you get your food in a brown paper bag whether you choose to dine in or do takeout. In this case, I got a little bacon cheeseburger with a side of little fries, and dang all of this was stuffed into a brown paper bag too and felt pretty heavy. When I got home and opened the bag, there was indeed a ton of fries along with the burger itself. The patty is juicy and full of flavor, and condiments did not fall out as easily from the sesame buns. I only got some of the condiments for this burger and forgot to ask to have it "all the way," which essentially means having everything listed on a list of condiments in my burger. Regardless of that, burger was still really good! They also list on a paper near the front counter the vendor where they get their potatoes for their fries, which I found pretty cool. I haven't been much into burgers lately but this place can do a mean one and still continues do so. I'll be back here whenever I'm close to the area and want something quick to eat!
