The food is amazing here i wont deny it,everything is good,personally good service and ambiance is really good i like it tbh i would definitely recommend! BUT be warned the cooling system here could be better..they have fans so sitting somewhere just to stay cool in a hot day is a struggle,if you come here choose wisely where you sit...that's the only issue here other than that everything here is so perfect and i have nothing bad to say about this place
I can confirm S'mac still has it going on. Really nothing much has changed. The interior takes me back to my college years, it's still orange hued and woodsy, but now there's self ordering kiosks! Choose your size and your flavor option. If you're feeling bold, create your own combination. And in a few minutes you'll be delivered crusty, cheesy, goodness. I ordered the alpine, which came with mushroom, rosemary and fig pieces and left satisfied. The figs added a nice sweetness. The mushroom cut through the richness, but there was still plenty of cheese for that cheese pull. Truthfully I couldn't even finish the small size, because it was so much. But still, S'mac scratches that nostalgic itch of food that still hits after all these years.
The masala Mac was really yummy. Super flavorful and the cheese was great. Like the different sizes they have too. Service was pretty quick.
I don't know how many years I've been coming here but I don't care how far the drive is but it's worth it! The service is still the same, fast pace and great! I wish the place was bigger though. There is nothing to complain; The food is done to perfection, made your own way/ how you like it.
Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of this little corner spot. My kid and I decided to grab some mac n cheese after our long ass day in the city before heading home. This place did not disappoint- it's really not the spot for sit down and dine in - if i had pictures you'd see why. However the mac was bomb and a great serving size for the both of us. I added some grilled chicken to it for the sake of protein. You place your order at the kiosk and wait - food was out in less than 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this spot and i will be revisiting. Next time i will take some pics of inside.

I found this place because I literally searched for "Mac and cheese" as I was craving my favorite food! There's a similar concept in Houston, so I was thrilled to find a new Mac-and-cheese-devoted restaurant in my new city!! When I arrived, it was almost 3pm so the restaurant was pretty empty, although it actually started to pick up a bit by the time I left. You order directly from a kiosk and you'll pick a table number so that they can bring it to you as soon as it's ready. I did a build-your-own option as I'm vegetarian and also wanted a specific flavor due to being a cheese snob. The Mac came out quick, piping hot and oh so fresh! It's served in its own little skillet, which helps keep it warm and is also just really cute. It was sooo delicious!! I combined gruyere with Munster cheese, added spinach and garlic then topped it with bread crumbs. Mmm mmm MMM! Also, they have a water dispenser near the entrance to the kitchen! I was happy that flavored sparkling water was sold here as I don't drink sodas, but I also snagged some free water while I was at it. Since summer is here, just know that they don't seem to have AC here! The restaurant was very open-concept. I chose to sit near a fan and the open "window" area in order to enjoy a breeze along with my meal.
I'm not the biggest mac and cheese fan but S'mac is a game-changer. The Masala did not hold back on the spices. So much flavor that adds depth to plain ol' mac and cheese. The Buffalo Chicken is packed with chicken pieces and plenty saucy. Honestly, a "nosh" was plenty enough for me since it is a very heavy and loaded mac and cheese. My boyfriend housed his "major munch" no problem (big appetite). S'MAC is a super casual spot--they have little kiosks in the front to order and you grab a number and a table and wait for a fresh mac and cheese skillet that they serve you.
Self order spot. If you're craving a Mac n cheese day, this is your spot. They have lots of options to add on, garlic, mushrooms, broccoli.. everything! You can choose to add bread crumbs which I recommend. Happy I made a stop here while visiting.
Have known about this place for years, but never stopped by until recently - not bad! Good variety of menu options of Mac 'n' Cheese, very filling portions, and reasonable-ish prices. It's a relatively small, laid-back joint with just 1 chef and 1 other person running things - yet people get served promptly enough. You can serve yourself water from a tank, or you can order any number of soft drinks or beer as well. They have a touchscreen ordering system that's pretty straightforward, you're given a number and served within 5-10 minutes tops. If it's your first visit, definitely recommend the sampler platter - has easily enough food for one person or a solid amount to share for two, and you get to try all of their main varieties of Mac 'n' Cheese in one go. We felt that their American option (as classic as you can get) was actually their best item in the end - with a few contenders for second place (including the 4 Cheese and the "Cheeseburger" options). Everything is quite customizable no matter what you order - you can add more cheese, more breadcrumbs, more sauce and so forth for literally anything on the menu. Their smallest size for any one flavor, besides the sampler, is plenty for a single person - but you can scale up if you want to share with other people. Their largest "Party" size costs $69, kinda curious just how much tonnage of Mac 'n' Cheese we're talking about there. Fun spot, would come back for sure.
this place made for great drunk food! such a fun concept. the nosh was the perfect size in my opinion! good prices too. they had plenty of seating and had the FIFA games on!
So comforting, so good. Fair price for the portion size. You really can't go wrong with the flavors here. It could've been a tad bit spicier but that's just me.
Best spot for winter cravings and rainy day remedy! They have a substantial size menu- They have 3 sizes but honestly the smallest is alot(Nosh). The mac n cheese is super creamy and cheesy so even the small size is enough for 1 person serving. We got three flavors and shared. Best was their Chicken tikka! Loved mediterranean too-Alpine was just ok. Must try if you are a mac and cheese lover. Its not high end dinning place so yeah seating is pretty casual but they have alot of tables. Liked the casual vibe. Will defo return!

To be fair, I think a 3.6 is the most appropriate rating but I don't have that option! Disclaimer: I am a huge cheese girl. Some days I literally feel like a mouse. I really liked the set up of the restaurant, it was just a unique and casual experience which I really appreciate. You can walk in and place your own order, grab a number, and grab a seat. No pressure to rehearse what you'll say to the waiter. My friend and I went and shared their sampler. It was honestly the perfect amount of food to be full enough, but also have room for dessert in the area after. That being said, if I went alone I still think that I could body the dish. I'd strongly recommend the sampler if you don't want to be bound to one plate (I actually ended up disliking the one I thought I'd like the most, so you could surprise yourself). For the most part, I just thought the flavors were too light for me. This may be different for the full dishes though. It was fine mac and cheese, but I didn't find it really calling me to return. The top half of the sampler all largely tasted the same, which is not bad by any means, but I was hoping for some more variety. The bottom half was distinct enough to keep us interested! Overall, it's worth a visit! Bring a friend and try some new flavors. I didn't love S'MAC but my friend really liked it. To each their own! read more
Why is this place rated so low? I have no idea because is the absolute BEST Mac and cheese I have eaten in this city. Besides, the amount of options available are huge, they have gluten free, low carb, lactose free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Everyone can eat. The dynamic is very simple, you go inside and order your own food from a machine, grab a number and when your order is ready it will be served to your table. Both of the options we tried were INCREDIBLE and huge! We had in the "major munch" size the Alpine (Swiss and bacon) and La Mancha (manchego, fennel and onion) the last one was a little spicy but it was not advertised as spicy. I handled it well, however if you don't like spicy food this might no be a good option. I want to come back and try all other flavors. They even have a sampler option enough for 2 or 3 people where you can try 8 flavors for less than $20. Wine? Beer? Juices? Cocktails? They got them all. The place could have been more organized. Neat is not a word I would use to describe it but, it was very cozy, the tables were confortable, the food amazing and the price unbeatable. (From $7 to $20) If none of the options offered in the menu catch your eye, you can also build your own bowl. If not sure about the right size, samples of the dishes are exhibit in front of where you order. Seriously, please just go and do not pay any attention to any bad reviews the food was delicious, however don't expect this to be the place to take a date, because it's not. A four only because I think a lot of marketing and influencer videos don't capture that this is more of a fast-casual spot. You order on a screen and take a number to your table and it's out in a few minutes. Very fun fast-casual for sure! Lots of very neat flavors. I got the big one where I could try the most and they were all pretty good. Fun if you or someone you're with really loves macncheese. read more

Cool place to check out if you are in the area . Upon arrival I was greeted by a woman in who I thought was homeless since she was outside I think they hire her but she was so sweet and cool she bussed and cleaned the tables as soon as any one left she was quick and her energy is great. On the screen it said 20-30 min wait but we got our food within 10 minutes It's wheelchair and stroller accesible! We got the sampler our least favorite La Mancha, Parisienne. Not the best mac I've Had. I feel like Popeyes has a better Mac . Ambiance is very chill and open there is a bathroom but no kid table . read more

This place was AMAZING! Usually, I'm not a fan of "restaurant" style Mac n cheese. That's because it's very hit or miss... more times miss than hit.. today my friends... it was an absolute hit! I took the entire family to NYC and this was a prefect place to wind down, and enjoy some freshly made Mac and cheese. Nothing is is precooked. It's a place focused only on mac 'n' cheese, and it's been around forever. You kind of know what you're getting into with that. Thing is, it's not the most pleasant dine-in experience anymore. There are heavy plastic curtains separating the dine-in section from the pick-up section, even though you have to go to the pick-up section anyway to place your orders via tablet and get water/napkins. Social distancing is a joke, and even though there is a big space heater running at all times in the dine-in section, it'll still be freezing. We got the Sampler ($17), which included: All American, 4 Cheese, Cheeseburger, La Mancha, Cajun, Napoletana, Alpine, Parisienne. The best was the Cheeseburger and Cajun. And the universally hated one was the Parisienne. Who thought adding sugary figs to mac 'n' cheese was a good idea? It wasn't. Service was slow and rude, but I guess that's what you get for this area. And don't bother ordering wine. It comes in a can. read more

Mmm mmm mmm!! Cheesy!!! If you like baked Mac n cheese, then this is the place for it. Service is great, atmosphere is definitely pretty sweet, food is obviously good. I do recommend trying out the 8 types of Mac n cheese to try out a little bit of each for starters. Would come back here to try other mixes or make your own. Really good max and cheese and it's super cute just to come in order a skillet full of a homey dish. I definitely recommend the 4 cheese, I think it's the best. Hamburger is good, it's basically the regular with pieces of meat. I didn't love some of the fancier ones, I didn't think the flavors meshed well. But the classics are so good. Everyone loves Mac and Cheese but this joint takes it to another level with the different choice and flavors to blow your taste buds! The ingredients in the different flavor choices really do come out wanting you for more and more piping hot bites. The sampler is an excellent selection to try multiple flavors. Weird set up when you first walk up but then you realize that there are little kiosk to order on and you pretty much seat yourself if there are tables available. I just wish originally someone was there to explain but I understand it gets busy. Either way I ordered the Alpine which has gruyère and slab bacon. I added hot sauce which gave it a nice little kick nothing too major. First off that cheese crust on top was divine. I ordered bread crumbs and it didn't seem like there were any on so next time I would probably order heavy breadcrumbs. To drink I got a aperol spritz which i was surprised they even had. It was decent for $11 and the portion of the mac and cheese was way more then enough for one person to take home. Since they only really offer mac & cheese with fix ins i wouldn't count this as a whole meal but maybe a quick bite or lunch. Would come with friends and try the sampler next time. read more

This Mac n cheese was AMAZING! It was so cheap and incredibly filling, I 100% recommend you visit if you enjoy Mac n cheese. This place solely sells Mac n cheese with a large variety of what you can get ordered and this was so delicious. The guy working there was incredibly sweet too and so I was very pleased with the service there. There isn't too much sitting space but I had gone with 5 friends around 3pm so we were easily able to find seats. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in the city! read more

Don't be deceived by the size of the nosh, it was perfect for just myself because I was hungry but could've easily been shared by two people. Bigger than you think and it cost me $10! (There are other combos that are around $7). Got goat cheese in mine and wow!!! They don't skimp out on it like most places do, if you love goat cheese it's a must. I got chicken which was a little bland and the bacon slabs which I did not enjoy. The bacon was just big chunks of hard hard dried bacon, was expecting bacon bites but I guess since I ordered bacon slabs that's my fault. It was so gooey and cheesy and was exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely want to go back and try another combo! Pro tip: get scallions in it!! read more

I love the concept of this place as being purely Mac n cheese. You order through a kiosk when you first enter and have the option of takeout or dinning in at one of the several wooden tables. I ordered the La Mancha in the Major Munch size and it was delicious! TheY even have gluten free pasta as an option for celiacs. Definitely plenty of food for dinner. read more

Ordered the 4-cheese mac for delivery, and it was definitely worth it. The mac came in a bowl inside a cute little pizza box, and you really do get a large portion for just nosh size - very filling for one person. The breadcrumbs kind of made the top layer a little too stiff and chewy, but the rest of the mac was loaded cheesy goodness. Don't think I'll order again for a while, just because it's SO CHEESY you definitely need a break before eating this kind of meal again, but I'd love to go in person one day and check out their serving skillets. read more
