I decided to give this business a second chance. I figured they'd be more organized, less wait times and more friendly. Nope, they were worst than the first time I came to this smash burger location. We waited 35 minutes for our food, the lady at the counter said the sweet potato fries were too salty and had to be remade, so we had to wait even longer, and the rest of the food was ice cold except the fries. To make matters worse, the lady was rude and unorganized! What a mess of a place! read more

I used Uber eats to try this place for the first time. I ordered the colorado burger with onion rings and my husband ordered the bacon double burger with tots. It was terrible, all of it. I hate to be the one to leave a bad review but we paid $50 and couldn't even finish it because it was HEAVILY salted. Walked in hoping to dine in. Was told they were not taking in the store orders, only online. No reason given and no sign on the door or at the register. 3 additional customer came in hoping to order. 2 left and one stayed to place online. When I finally placed my order, I was told they didn't have brisket. No refund offered even though it let me place the order online. If I'd been able to order in person, they could've told me that! Also, the televisions were turned all the way up so they could hear In the kitchen. Overall a very poor experience. read more

Came in hungry and boy was the burger good. So hot n fresh it actually burned my lip when I bit into my first bite. Double smash burger original is big and filling. Fries are on the small side. Nothing really special about them. They are not cheap but I think worth the price for the burger. read more

Avondale location is garbage! I went today and waited 15 minutes for the food. When I got home and started eating, the food was disgusting. The restaurant was dirty and only 2 employees in the store. They used to have quality food, but they have really gone down and they are not a cheap eatery. I threw half my burger away and the fries. It was such a waste of money. Worst Experience! First off their app sucks because it wouldn't allow me to use their own gift card to pay. When I get to the restaurant, they have a clear plastic barrier up, which is fine and I get because of the pandemic, but the girl taking the orders has a mask on and was talking super low. I had to ask her several times what was she was saying because I couldn't hear her. Then when I asked her about what she had charged me, she couldn't figure out how to correct it. When my food came she apologized for the wrong charge and told me she gave me an extra side of fries, which was nice, but I didn't want extra fries. Finally the food. The food was HORRIBLE. My burger patties were over cooked and burnt. The tomatoes tasted old and the lettuce was wilted. After a few bites I threw it away. My wife's was not happy with her chicken sandwich either and ended up throwing it away. The fries were over cooked as well and cold. Very disappointing. Definitely will not eat here again. It's so good, my kids forget they are not getting a toy or prize with their meal :P Place is very casual, staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is so good!! Usually in our order we include the kids smashburgers,they are so simple, but so buttery good! with their side of fries that always have enough to go around, however, we like the sweet potato fries, and the smash fries with rosemary and oil!! Start to finish the experience was terrible. Walk in and the "kids" where having a racially suggestive conversation in the back kitchen. There wasn't a soul in here except me and I've been standing there for 20 minutes waiting for their conversation to end. I wave at them and a girl comes up front to tell me "she'll be with me in a minute." Another 5 minutes passes and i finally get to order 10 minutes goes by and I finally get my food I opened the bag and noticed everything was slammed and wadded together. This place is always great to bring the family to eat on a budget. The burgers always have that fresh meat taste and vegetables are very fresh. The service really is outstanding. The clerk was very patient as we ordered for six people. Additionally there was a young man diligently cleaning the tables. When we finished, he respectfully asked if he could gather our empty trays. They have tons of coupon options for discounts, through app, and offer military/first responder discounts. Fed 6 people for $27 !!! The buns are getting a bit smaller but i admire Smash's desire to keep their prices low. The economy is hitting everyone.
