I eat here often for lunch , but today was different , I waited 25 min for two single burgers and a chocolate shake and the chocolate shake was half whipped cream , also no line at all . When I asked the GM if the shake looked small , she replied with "shakes are all one size did you order a small ? happily remake it ; if you can wait " . After a couple of hours of skiing, my husband and I stopped in for dinner just before 5pm. Service was a little slow because there was only one teammate working the front counter, but he was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean, a nice cozy temperature and quiet even though there were a couple of groups dining in as well We ordered two Double Classic Smash Burgers, mine substituted with pepper jack cheese, a side of Smash Fries and a fountain drink (Strawberry Dragonfruit Tractor Beverage - incredible). Everything came out hot in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious! The burgers were a large portion size and had great flavor. The smash fries seasoning was tasty. I've missed having Smashburgers in Denver Metro area. I had always liked them. We enjoyed a great late lunch here. The burgers were hot and fresh and made to order, of course. Their rosemary fries are the ABSOLUTE BEST as they always have been! The staff was "on it" with service. I must say it was a bit "cold" and "sterile" inside. Nothing cozy or little to no decor. This may be because of the pandemic in the past. Not sure. Our son enjoyed a delicious Haägen Daz shake and we all had different burgers of which we much enjoyed. We had the Truffle Mushroom ‍ burger and the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smash and the Colorado Smash. Husband had the chili that he thought was good. Parking simple & just off the highway. Not sure why this place has such a low rating, honestly. We live here part time (6 months out of the year) and I didn't give it a shot last year due to ratings. Went in today, was IMMEDIATELY greeted with a friendly attitude, my order was taken quickly & my food? Amazing. This was also during lunch time so for them to be so awesome is worth a 5 star in my book. Burger was juicy and loaded and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp on the outside, well cooked inside! Will be trying them again for sure! read more

The food was good. I don't think the restaurant has ever been mopped though. Service was quick and polite. The music here can only be described as a cacophony of sounds trying to drown the other music playing out. People inside the place are literally having to yell at each other to be heard while the main speakers play the usual music and the kitchen staff blares something entirely different. read more

This Smashburger normally serves some pretty good food, but at a slower pace. Er, on Colorado time. We came here one evening around eight and had the place to ourselves. That didn't last very long, as a crowd came in just after we placed our order - but this both flummoxed and overwhelmed their staff of two. What normally takes five to ten minutes, took nearly forty. The two employees tried very hard to keep up - rotating from taking an order, to going back into the kitchen to start making them. Rather than focusing on the order in front of them, they decided to make them in batches, with mixed results, like over cooking. I like Smashburger, it's one of the better faster food options. This location is awful. I did see the reviews beforehand and decided to risk it. That was a mistake. The staff was incredibly rude and acted as tho they could care less about their job. One guy was just sitting on the counter in the middle of the restaurant. Ordered the BBQ bacon burger only to get it and it had zero bbq sauce. Honestly it didn't matter as I was afraid to eat it anyway, seeing as how the staff can't be bothered with customers, I'm sure they probably give zero Fs about food safety. Clearly I'm not the first poor review and clearly management has done nothing to fix the problem, my advice is stay clear. read more

It smelled bad in the restaurant. My daughter got the chicken tenders and fries, and only ate one piece of the chicken, so I brought the leftovers home. An hour or so later she was feeling sick. I then tested a bite of the leftover chicken and it tasted so horrible that I literally almost threw up! Now I feel terrible that I let my daughter eat there at all. By the taste of the chicken and the way it smelled in the restaurant, it seems they could be operating under unsanitary conditions. I do not recommend going here to eat. read more

We were helped by an employee named Israel, he was very impatient with us and didn't seem to want to give us much time to look over the menu. This is the second time I ordered from this Smash Burger location and they still haven't gotten it right. Almost, but not quite. The first time I ordered was through Door Dash. Door Dash got my order right because it was sealed shut with my name on the outside but Smash Burger packaged it wrong. I ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich. Inside I got some guy named Brian's Double Bacon Cheeseburger. I was hungry so I ate it but could only eat half. It was good, good flavor on the meat. Today my boyfriend went to this location and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. One with no tomatoes. This is what we received: I got a chicken sandwich with no tomatoes and we both also got no lettuce and no Mayo. Like what. Why. Where is the deng lettuce?! On top of that, I had no top bun! So disappointed with this meal. $47 for 3 people - 2 burgers and a chicken salad, 2 shakes and one fries. The food was a big disappointment and they messed up my salad - I ordered the salad with no cheese and no ranch dressing/dairy free. When I got my salad it had cheese, and ranch dressing (the only dressing they have) I cannot eat dairy so I just ate the 1/8 " piece of mashed chicken dry and left everything else in the plastic bowl. My son's chicken sandwich and husband's double burger was just so so. The shakes are now much smaller too. Seems like Smash Burger management is putting profits over quality and customer satisfaction. We are locals and I'm sorry to say that we will never return. Unfriendly cashier and trash cans are overflowing both inside and outside the restaurant. read more

Conveniently, you cannot call the store to let them know the order is wrong and trying to get the money back for the item I paid for but did not receive. We're in the area visiting and got here yesterday afternoon. We came to get burgers and shakes for the kids. When I got there, the cashier was doing something with the shake machines. I ordered and was told milk shakes were not available. We went to wait and then saw the cashier scooping, sometimes with his bare hands, ice cream into individual silver cups (I assume prepping for tomorrow). Anyhow, as we waited, more people came in and they ordered milkshakes and got them. I don't know if he was being lazy or what the issue was with us not being able to order a couple of shakes.. but after seeing the hand scooping, I'm dodged that. The burgers were okay. Visiting from out of town and just saw this place that seemed unique because we don't have a place like it. I was very disappointed in service. The cashier was on his phone while taking the order. I've never been so I wasn't sure what I was getting. For one all the sides are extra. It wasn't that worth it. The brisket burger was new and it was decent. Wasn't a lot of brisket. But taste was good. The tables were messy and not cleaned up. I had to clear off and clean the table myself and it was filthy. I would not recommend to someone that is new to the area. The shake which was for a small the price of a meal at other places is not one to boast about either. Nothing really special here and the service did not help. We asked why and they said they're too backed up. There were employees walking around, getting drinks and talking and they could not even take 1 order. The kitchen and restaurant were absolutely filthy. Fries and food everywhere on the floor. They should close this store. They obviously cannot function at any capacity.
