They don't have combo meals so you need to order fries and drink individually. Next time I want a cheap fast food burger I will stick with Burger King or McD's. So I had been wanting to try this place since it opened so the other night I did a online order to make the process easier and quicker I hoped. So I went to pick up my food and had to wait in line. I didn't see a sign or anything else telling me otherwise. So I finally got up to the cashier let him know I have a online order I get passed over to the crowd of people waiting for their orders. The two people putting orders together were to busy to even get their attention. It was just sooooo disorganized finally after seeing my food sit there get cold one of the employees finally asked me my name. And got my order and got it off there. The food is usually great and always fresh! The last two times I went I had online orders which stated would be ready in 10 minutes. I've waited 20 to 30 minutes and my food was cold when I finally got it. Service wasn't pleasant and the rudeness wasn't called for!! She did replace the food when I let her know but with attitude. The vegetarian black bean "burger" was disgusting. All it is comprised of is beans, nothing else! It tasted too beans and over powered any toppings that I had. The onion "rings", as they aren't rings are way too salty so that was not tasty at all. Do yourself a favor and go to the Habit instead. read more

Ordered from doordash, didn't get the correct order so I went to the storefront to ask why. The girl that approached me had horrible customer service and didn't seem like she understood English after I asked how she was doing. All I got was a blank stare and then she asked what was wrong. I asked why didn't get the correct order which was missing fries that they substituted for tots. She asked if I wanted to talk to a manger and I said sure. The little blonde girl that came out from the back with no mask on with less personality then the last girl that helped me said "we were out of fries so we gave you tots, talk to doordash if you want a refund". Picked up a Mushroom Swiss burger today, first time eating at Smash Burger and for $8 got 7 pieces of mushroom, a burger patty too small for the bun and the bun smashed so bad that it looks like a McDonalds kids burger. Really confusing.... I know it's weird right know because of Covid but there was no flow/continuity to picking up my order. Milkshake on a metal tray on one table. Burgers and fries on another table in a bag, 2 tables away. The soda I ordered over at another counter. When I asked the worker what I was supposed to do she said nothing. Just stares blankly at me. She seemed irritated when I asked what am I supposed to do? So I picked up the bag and went over to where the milkshake on the tray was and placed the bag next to the shake and picked up the tray. I was told don't take the tray! WTH why was the shake on a tray 2 tables away? Then I put the tray down and took the bag with the milk shake oVer to the other drink area. Then a worker filled my drink order. I had to ask for more ketchup and that almost sent them in to a tizzy! Noticed that they aren't disinfecting tables after people leave. My burger was good my boyfriends was not good. Very plain. Double BBQ with FF onion rings and it was supposed to have bacon and no taste of BBQ sauce at all. Good food but the wait time is insane and the employees are disrespectful. From the moment I began to order my food the person at the register was rushing to get my order even though there was only one person in line. I then go over my order and ask for 4 fires and 4 drinks since everything is sold separately. I then went by the actual food orders and ordered 3 burgers total all with no tomatoes and the last things I ordered were the scorching hot chicken tenders and a order of bbq wings. Being new to the place I asked the cashier what types of spices they offered and she then listed them and I went over the whole order with her and she said she got Everything. The receipt was not legible since she had grease on her gloves and it was hard to read the receipt. I understand the way fast food service works and how a persons mood can differ because of previous customers but the disrespect came from all the employees we had that gave us our food. The way the food comes out was not all at once so everyone's food was given around 10 mins apart. The burgers were given individually and got our fires at the end. The burgers were good and the fries were fine as well the problem was that we only received 2 of the 4 fries we ordered. The second problem was that the wings we ordered we weee told at 5:18 when we were given our table number that it would be a longer wait of about 15 mins to get them. That was no problem but what was supposed to be 15 mins was over an hour wait for the remaining fries and the bbq wings. The time was literally 6:18 when I went to the register to ask about my order and I was not told what happened and the employees went to look on the order screen and were laughing and side eying me as I waited for a response on my food. The employee then comes up and just says ok we'll make it again. I asked what happened with it or if I just didn't order it. She just didn't say anything. Minutes later what seemed to be a manger I assume because she was dressed in a hat and a different shirt that the rest came to my table and didn't introduce who she was but just asked " should I tell you or the man about the missing fries and wings?" I was confused as to what she was asking for. From this it seemed to me that she didn't know who to tell the information to so there's miscommunication on their own team. I then ask her what do you mean the man if this order is mine I didn't come with the man. Then she proceeded to tell me that my order would be out in a few and she could offer 2 milkshakes as a compensation but that wasn't something we found appealing and instead I asked if it was possible to just get an additional order of fries to eat with the wings since my one of my family members had not had their own meal. She agrees and walks away but doesn't explain what happened with the order. When the order does finally come the employee literally tosses the basket of wings and fries on the table to where I was shocked to why she would do that. There is a way to set down food on a table and that was very disrespectful and before I could say anything she had left not saying a word. I received the wrong order of wings and cold fries. I was just over the whole experience and just left because there was no professionalism from any of the employees here at the Hollister Smash burger. Not to mention I had a long drive home and didn't want to waste more time waiting for a response I might not even get. read more

SMASHBURGER why did you have to disappoint me. I loved this place until last night. Placed our order online at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm pickup. Arrived at 7:30p they said "Oh it's coming right out. Wait in the lobby or on the patio and we will come get you." Cool, so we headed outside. Mind you the lobby is FULL of people waiting. At 7:50 we still didn't have our food so we headed inside. It was sitting on the counter. What happened to coming to get us? They then proceed to ask me what do I want instead of Brussels. Soooo you're out of Brussels? They couldn't figure out how to refund us so I chose sweet potato fries. Our burgers were overdone and tasteless. The staff was apologetic while the female manager just glanced over from the back never coming out to handle all of the customers that were upset because of the long wait. SO don't ever order online, it doesn't save time and defeats the purpose of trying to social distance because of Covid. You'll wait a shorter periods by just going in and ordering AND you'll know if they have Brussels or not before ordering. SO DISAPPOINTING. read more
