I got the Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger and never looked back. They use fresh 100% Certified Angus Beef for example and Häagen-Dazs ice cream for their shakes. The result is yummy, juicy burgers, that are affordable. Burgers can also be customized (build you own, larger patty size), salads are great portions, and they are generous with coupons for free sides. Management and staff at this particular location or particularly friendly, helpful, and happy to please. Presentation is nice and the location is always clean and inviting. The Bad: There is none. I am a big fan and have to say their burgers rank high on my list and may I add that I have a friend who is big on healthy eating and she treats herself to Smashburger every now and again for taste and flavor. I am in love with the Smashfries are so delicious, a blend of oil, rosemary, oregano, garlic powder, salt. I recommend the New Yorker burger and Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger, Classic Cobb salad, and any of their wonderful milkshakes. Everyone I bring to Smashburger always asks to go again. We ordered take out. The service was friendly and fast...an asset to Nanuet. I had a Harvest Salad with chicken which was delicious. Great for kids and adults. We will go back again and again. read more

Awesome find. loved the newyorker -- so good! also a big fan of haystack onions. they have haagen daaz shakes and honest tea too. and some craft beers too! staff was very organized and polite. would recommend it to all - good value as well. read more

I am always getting burger craving and heard a lot of good things about this place so I went to check it out. There was a bit of a line when I went there but the two cashiers were taking orders quickly. The biggest high point of smash Burger in my opinion is the kind staff. They are happy and made me feel welcome. I like the fact they bring the food to you and check to make sure it's all good. I had a mushroom burger with Smash Fries ( Which are awesome!). The burgers are a little Flat (or SMASHED) but have a good taste. This is high end fast food and it's a little pricey but the service makes up for it. Nutter Butter shakes FTW! read more

Everytime I come here, it's always such a great experience. From the great staff to the excellent food, the standards reach new highs and I'm always over satisfied by how pleasant im treated. A young man named Julio operates and maintains the restaurant to a T!!! He's always so attentive and makes any and every order possible. Like the plating. Like the consistent branding. Good source of happiness. Cons: Needs larger table seating. Better music. Better lighting. Staff should be better dressed. No uniform. Deliveries should come in before or after opening. Better location. Don't like seeing into kitchen when she's eating. Would like to see a drop ceiling or drywall instead of industrial ceiling look. I've been to this location probably more than a hand full of times. But last night was the last time I will be returning. My boyfriend and I arrived and ordered and there was barely anyone in there so the wait shouldn't be that long for the food to come out right? Well we waited about 15minutes for 2 chicken sandwiches... it doesn't take that long to fry chicken and throw it in a bun. Mine comes out with the fries but my boyfriends doesn't. I started eating and the fries tasted like they had been fried left out under a heat lamp then fried again. They were disgusting. 5 minutes later my boyfriends finally comes out and he opens it and instead of a chicken patty they put 2 chicken tenders on it... not even enough to cover the bun. I go up and ask the guy thy there is 2 small skinny little chicken tenders on this and not a patty and he goes "well that's disrespectful". We got a new sandwich and then for the inconvenience they gave us a coupon for a free sandwich ... which expired LAST YEAR. If you're going to try to accommodate your customers when your employees mess up maybe you should hm refund them? Give them a milkshake? Not give them an expired coupon. Needless to say we won't be returning. read more

The Haystack onion was nothing more than a flimsy mess of dripping oil. It looked nothing like the picture. Its like it sat soaking in oil before it was served and came soggy and engorged like a sponge with oil. Nauseating. When I gave it back the response from the manager was...but it IS fried. Really. The Smashfries were not much better dripping with oil and so thin that the oil almost displaced the product though not as bad as the Haystack onion. I dont know about other places but this location failed 2 very basic menu items. read more

Really good, great meat fix. The coupon policy should be a bit more flexible. Why do you need a paper coupon (perfectly cut along the dotted lines?) when I'm clearly showing you the coupon on my phone with your little number to plug into the computer? Soooo not up to the times with that. Overall, Service is great. Guys are great. Speaking of which-never seen a female work here at all (just saying). I usually don't eat at burger restaurants, however Smashburger in Nanuet is my one exception. Every time I come by, the employees always provide great service. The managers Julio and Anthony are so nice and always great me with a hello. My favorite employee is Kyle, who always takes care of me. He even remembers my name and order! Great service, great food and all around great place. When I walked in, there was a line but my order was quickly taken. The lady at the register was so nice. She asked if it was my first time there, and when I told her that it was, she signed me up for the Smash Club, which is Smashburger's rewards club. She also reassured me that if I needed anything, she would be available to help. However, since everything went so well, there wasn't any need to ask for help. I ordered the barbecue bacon cheddar, which was highly recommended by Melissa and it was delicious! I will definitely be coming back. read more

I was excited to try a new burger chain when it opened in Nanuet. I gotta say its just a-ok. My family and a few friends each ordered a different burger and no one was overly impressed. They are fancy and have items such as truffle oil and avocados but still managed to taste bland. The fries were much better than the burgers. It was a cool place to check out but for the price and lack of taste I don't see myself returning anytime soon. read more

We went last night and was very disappointed. I had a traditional smash burger it was very very greezy...the "smash sauce" was nothing more than yellow mustard with a touch of mayo. The fries were cold. My wife had a black bean veggie burger. Great idea but horrible execution. I think the cook was new or not trained. The burger was cold and the first time it came out with no bacon and no cheese and no bar b q sauce as stated on the menu. So I got up and brought it back. Then it came out with half cooked bacon and no bbq sauce and a little slice of American cheese. I got up brought it back again and just said forget it by then it was too late. The manager came over and offered us 2 free coupons for next time, which we refused because we will never go back there. So go to 5 guys if you want to spend $9 for a little burger.
