I came here to try their triple double deals and give it another shot. people were more friendly and the service was better but the food was sickening. it tasted great, nothing thick about the burger. it was three slivers of a regular, single slice. we ordered one custom and one regular triples with one reg and one smash fries. I tried the regular and ate about a quarter of mine, some fries. I began feeling sleepy (that 'itis doesn't hit me so fast nor with little food I had and I didn't want to keep eating), and fell asleep for about three hours. two + days I'm extremely sick. I don't want to be embarrassed but my stomach is hateful lol and I just want to cry but would rather not show it. I know it's strictly the food from here because I was already showcasing issues before I went out later that night. I've been indoors pretty much since and in bed. I threw up about two little wastebaskets worth since. I wouldn't eat anything from here again, it's not worth it. :( read more

First time at a Smashburger. Got the New Yorker and smash fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and delicious, and the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly with rosemary and olive oil. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and checked on me more than once to make sure everything was good and to see if I needed anything. Smashburger as an establishment is great. Nanuet, not so much. The employees here are rude and incompetent. Had a run in with a female named randy who wasn't sure how to use the computer; asked her to just cancel the order so I can leave, but she claims she is unable to do so that I owed her X amount of money. This woman claimed to be a manager, but when I asked another employee working if I can speak to the manager, I was told he left. I guess she wanted to feel important so I'm posting to let her know just how important she really is. She was so eager to get me out of the establishment, she yelled at the poor guys in the back to get this order out ASAP (literally 3 times) and when i got home to eat, i called in to let her know they messed up my order. Not surprised. This woman had the audacity to ask me to drive 15 minutes back for grilled onions. Highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

First time at a smash burger and it was pretty good. I would compare it to Five guys and The Counter just with thin burgers. The smash fries were excellent and something I would get again. I asked for a fried egg on my burger and was hoping it would be a little runny but it was cooled well. Overall pretty good food and good service. It's now on my burger list. read more

You know I'm not big on 5 stars, and this could change as time passes and this place becomes comfortable and loses their hype.....BUT, for now, this is the BEST burger in Rockland County!!! I mean, by far, the best burger!!! The staff is polite and friendly. They clean up after you which is great and they serve you wherever you choose to sit. They have awesome shakes!!! Sweet potato fries are great. They serve beer. I can't say enough about how great an atmosphere it truly is. Now back to the food. We had a Smash chicken with portobello truffle and Swiss, which was phenomenal. We also had the Classic Smash, this burger is so good. As a major fan of Smashburger, I always try to visit them if I notice one in the area I am in, or seek one out when I am on the go... Recently I found Smashburger in Rockland County. This one is in Nanuet, in a shopping center, up on a cozy little mountain! As I am very familiar with their food and service, I must say this particular restaurant far exceeds any Smashburger I have ever been too!!! The service and cleanliness is incredible, far exceeding any restaurant I have been to in the area!!! I tried the new Spinach and Goat cheese chicken sandwich, which I believe was on the menu once before, and it was perfect! (kudos to whoever thought to bring it back) Will return with pleasure. Burgers were tasty but not innovative great for build your own style and some standard classic toppings. Lines were long but the place was amazingly clean including the bathroom. The location is not the best, if it gets busy I can see a problem with parking. Will for sure go back to try more menu items though. read more

When I walk into smash burger I feel a lot of pretense. Maybe I'm too old for the atmosphere, but I will give credit that they are changing the way America looks at a hamburger in its Preparation. This is one of my favorite burger places ever. I've tried a bunch of their burgers and they've all been good. I love the black bean burger and the burger topped with cucumber, spinach and goat cheese. They have great fries too. They also serve beer which is cool and they have some awesome shakes like oreo and butterfinger. If you like hamburgers I'd definitely try this place. The only thing I had here that I didn't like were the fried pickles because they were way too salty but other than that everything has been great. read more

My wife and I went for the first time today and the service was excellent and the food was pretty good. I had the avocado club burger while my wife had the spicy baja chicken sandwich. We shared a smashfries and a ice tea and milkshake. All delicious. Meat wasn't too dry. I haven't tried Zinburgers yet, but my wife had a zinburger last week and to my surprise she enjoyed the avocado club more than the zinburger. How about that? I was surprised because the zinburger was more expensive. But I guess you never know lol. Also we only had one hour bc my wife was on her dinner break and we were in and out of SB in 30 minutes. All i can say is WOW! This place blew me away today. As soon as i walked in, the female behind the order station was friendly and all smiles. She was helpful with the menu as this was my first time as a customer at a Smash Burger. I used the bathroom and it was clean, smelled good and i didn't feel skeezed out as i usually do at a burger joint. The place was spot on clean everywhere. Tables sparked, floors were swept clean after every customer left, tables and seats wiped down. I felt so comfy there. My food came out within 5-6 minutes and tasted fresh. After a few minutes enjoying my food and delicious chocolate milk shake one of the employees came over to ask how my food was. That in itself is unheard of at a place like this so i was very taken back. After i Expressed my satisfaction she handed me coupon for free side upon my return. That was the cherry on top. I HIGHLY recommend this spot as and will absolutely be coming back for more. I honestly cannot remember the last time i was blown away by a burger joint. This so far is my favorite. read more

The absolute pits- Sorry but I got alot of raves from friends and family and I found this place and food just plain lousy. The fries are cheap and minimal and not tasty and the burger fell over the small bun and it was cooked poorly -greasy- looked bad- a bad ugly looking burger...the bacon was small and should have been bacon bits for Gods sake. My first bite resulted in the thing spitting grease at me, The taste was nothing at all. The tiny bun with the large but thin and flat patty was a poor fit and a pain to et as the burger flopped over the bottom bun. Had the smash fries and could have smashed those on the floor with their strange taste. Serious disappointment and nobody was in the place. We tried it to test against 5 Guys and my advice ? DONT WASTE your time- $27 bucks later we felt robbed, I have never seen such thin fries, The final result of this visit was regretting we didnt go to to McDonalds for their $ menu which was better than what we got here, They have nerve to charge a $ for each piece of extra bacon when on their bacon cheeseburger they give you nothing but 2 thin strips barely noticeable and surely not tasted. Horrible experience. Never to return again and would be surprised this place lasts long. I ordered myself a simple smash burger with a side of fries and sat myself right down. An interesting thing about the smash burger is that once your foods ready, they bring it right to you. You can be a true American and have your greasy goodness handed right in front of you. First sight of the burger and god damn it's a good one. A good sized one, juicy and tender to the touch. Then I look at the fries... The fries... Honest to god these are the freaking thinnest/smallest fucking fries I've ever laid eyes on. You can mistake them for 5 day old infant pinkies their soo god damn tiny. I was befuddled. You have this beautiful burger... Served with bitch fries. I thought they put me on weightwatchers with the size of these fries. But the burger made up for it. That was one fine burger and I would return for that only. read more

However the second time we come to this location we heard a customer witness the manager no less, take her incorrectly ordered burger out of the trash and put it on her salad. It was shocking.
