The service here is seriously lacking. There were 4 people in our party and when we arrived, there were 2 families behind us. Each of those families had equal amounts of people in their party and both had food on their table and almost eaten by the time our order was out. We just ordered 3 burgers, chicken sandwich and fries. Nothing extra. They brought out half our order first - 2 burgers, one of which was made wrong, then 5 minutes later a COLD chicken sandwich. A staff member asked us what else was missing, which was our 4th burger and fries and I told her everything that was supposed to be on it. They had to make my burger and when brought to me, it was made wrong and WITHOUT my fries. Which also had to be made. I perfectly understand being busy or not having enough people on shift, but you should always acknowledge your customers standing there patiently waiting on you. When a client expresses their concern on not being spoken to after standing at the register for 10 minutes, don't blow that off. This place is LOUD....it's not as bad in the back seating area but don't go in if you have a headache. It's a newer location but it's a standard Smashburger. I love their burgers, especially the turkey burgers. And, NOW, they have BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!!!!! What more could you ask for? I'm thinking about going back just to get those! Their burgers are fresh and taste amazing, their fries are crispy and tasty (get them seasoned) and again....brussels sprouts! I bet your kids would even eat these! They are crispy and seasoned and just heavenly! I like going to this area in Prosper now that they have developed it and opened so many great shops. To top it off, they have the best fountain soda, I've had in a long time. This tells me the soda lines are clean and if the soda lines are clean...the kitchen is probably super clean. Where do I start? The customer service or the multiple mistakes on food? We can start with Customer Service. It's poor. My Mom and I go around 1ish and it has a decent amount of people in there.. but it isnt packed. My Mom and I probably wait for about 25 minutes until ONLY her food comes.. so im thinking that mine should be coming out in no time. I was wrong. I didnt get my food for another 10ish minutes. When I go up to ask where my food was I was ignored multiple times until I literally had to say loudly, "excuse me, ma'am!!!" Finally they ask me what I needed and I explained the situation... only to be told "oh, sorry.. we cant tell you when your food will be out. They come out as ordered." Okay, but my mom's food (who is on the same tab) came out 15 minutes ago.. so again, where the heck is my food?? Finally they bring it out. Incredible. Then I ask for a side of ranch and they said "yes i'll bring that to you." It never came. So, I went back up and they literally ignored me.. walked passed me & made no eyecontact!!!!!! Was able to get someone's attention finally and got my ranch. This is honestly RIDICULOUS. A customer should not have to put in so much effort to get their food!!!! My order: truffle mushroom swiss grilled chicken sandwich on wheat bun w/ sweet potato fries Mom's order: avocado bacon club w/ Brussel sprouts as her side You see how these are similar orders, yet mine came out so late... mine wasnt difficult. But, overall food was good. I understand... this place is new. The staff is new. But, dang... get it together. Have them train more.. maybe hire people with experience when opening up a new place. We used to go to the smashburger in coppell often but it has been a year since we moved. So I was pleasantly surprised to see one lien here in Frisco/Prosper. But things quickly went south from there. This is 'murica, where things are bigger and in excess because well, 'murica. So my wallet cried little when I spent a few coins shy of 30 bucks. What does $30 get you? 2 adult burgers the size of a slider (see pic), 2small portioned fries and a kids burger combo and one large drink. That burger made the Big Mac look like and actual Big Mac. I also remember the other location cutting their jalepeños thicker, just like how I prefer my women. But these slices were Kate Moss thin. Everything was downsized, sans the price. The service was friendly and prompt. Love it. Would I come back? Well, there was this counter girl that had these jeans painted on and was thick so...I might. It doesn't look like much when you first go past it. I've been seeing them around for years now. I figured it was just another high priced burger place. Until my son started workIng there and would tell me how amazing the burgers were. So my friend and I decided to check it out for ourselves one day, and MAN! I tell you that was one of the best burgers Ive ever had. (I'm a foodie and something like a food connoisseur lol) I had a Bacon double cheeseburger with all the veggies. Lest start right there the vegetables were all fresh and crisp. Tomato's weren't soggy. They put just the right of mustered (optional I don't like mayonnaise) the meat was actual fresh ground beef and not just a frozen patty. It was thick, juicy and flavorful. I did add salt and pepper to mines because I like my food well seasoned but it's not needed. My friend got a turkey burger however they originally made her order wrong and then tried to give her the same cold frys once they did re make it. So she wasnt the happiest camper but said that the burger it self was actually good. Management could have had better customer services he seemed to be disappointed that he had to re make her for other than that it was fantastic read more

Walking in the door you can tell the restaurant is packed with people but their staff is very quick at getting people throught the line. Overall the restuaraunt's cleanliness is on point with every table looking spotless and crumless. Now to their burgers they are very good and hearty from their fresh greens to their finely grilled meat. But one downside is that they let them cool down so the cheese didnt cone out goey just room temp. Next is their sides when it comes to their tots they were awesome but their smash fries, although full with flavor, they had way too much salt. Finally their milkshakes they were perfect in both texture and sweetness they were some of the best shakes I have tried. This restaurant is the worst and the only word they know is "No" we ordered a kids burger for our son and he wanted pickles on a burger. We got told they don't add anything to their burgers. We asked if we could have pickles on the side and they told us no they can't do that. Our daughter wanted the grilled cheese kids meal and they said they no longer make the grilled cheese which I understand. She then wanted the kids chicken strips with a chocolate shake and they said they no longer offer a shake at an up charge with the kids meal. We ordered a shake any ways and they charged us the $5.99 (which is menu price), but when we received it they put it in a kids cup and not the regular one on the menu which we were charged. I asked to speak to a manager and he sent out a sixteen year old kid to listen to my issues. When he finally came out he was very argumentative with us and basically told us we were incorrect m. My daughter went in to order the food only to find numerous kids (supposed employees )sitting on the countertops and refusing to move to actually take her order..... I have to admit I did not actually eat at Smashburger in Prosper. I wanted to. I went there to. I ordered food there. As I waited for the food I noticed that the staff that had masks had them around there necks. I saw staff without masks in the kitchen and in the front of the house. There were customers without masks. It does not matter what you think of masks per se. There are a lot of rules about food safety. A staff that flaunts one rule is probably cutting corners on others. This is just not a place that exhibits a professional approach to food safety, with or without a pandemic. I will try the francize at some other location. We have lived here a year. We went to Smashburger when we first moved here. Our order was all kinds of messed up, and my husband swore it off. My son and I tried it again today. Front cashier was good and made my shake and handed me my cups for drinks all fine. Guy working the fries was not so fine. He put his bare hands into the fries to fill a container for two buddies that showed up. He handed them the fries, shook both of their hands, ran his hand through his hair, and put his hands in his pockets as he was talking to them. My order was ready, so instead of washing his hands or putting on gloves, he bare hand loaded my open carton of fries and hamburgers. I was in shock standing there with my mask on. Even without Covid I would not have eaten the fries, but now with all the rules for COVID, this was unbelievable. 2x in one year, and neither was a good experience. Took a chance on the new Prosper location to patronize local businesses. The immediate impression is that the store is too small. Entirely too crowded and loud. The franchisee did not allow for the tremendous growth in the area. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The burgers and fries were good, but nothing to distinguish them from any similar chain. The black bean burger had a consistently of refried beans-not a burger. When I mentioned it to the hostess/manager (who asked, unsolicited) she said "sorry," and walked away. My biggest issue is the price. Mooyah Burgers meal is the same price, with much larger burgers and infinitely more fries/onion rings. If you just want a quick meal, Whataburger is in the same center for 1/2 the price. read more

Went to Smashburger in Prosper Tx Sunday Dec 23 rd and because my wife and I made it in before the store closing. The cook felt the need to pour excessive salt on our turkey burgers and fries. The food was horribly salty. So much so we could not eat it. Wasted money on food and no one to call as it was closed. Regardless of if you were closing no one has time for the bad attitude and customer punishment. We are frequent visitors of this establishment. However this is also our last. We both noticed how things were changing with the employee nasty lackadaisical attitudes. The best service you get it when Manager visible. I'm very disappointed at the treatment and the fact of our wasted money. To the cook God bless you as I wish no evil on anyone. But you do reap what you send out. To the owner and Manager pray ask GOD to send you a team who fits the brand you want to attract. Never again will I eat at Smashburger. WORST SERVICE!! i had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. i walk in with my friends and waited in line when i was my turn, i tried to order and the cashier rolls her eyes at me multiple times and gives me attitude for an unknown reason. finally it was time to pay and i told her if i could run it as credit and clicked enter without entering my pin. the transaction went throw and she then got confused and said "the order already went through, im gonna have to redo the whole order" and slammed the receipt down on the table. i told her that its was fine. then one of the other workers came over and asked what happened, she followed by asking him,"do we even do credit?" then she continues and goes to the other girls and start whispering and snickered at us. when i left i called the manager to see what he could do, but all he did was offer me another burger. absolutely disappointed people are allowed to act this way, with no repercussions. i would give them no stars if i could. not worth the time or money to be treated like this. read more
