It clearly says Smiles west Montebello
    Alex S.

The place is a SCAM. I visited here a year ago, but did not choose to proceed with their services. only today I found that they have been charging me month payments of $29 -$99 dollars. I have been charged every month from June last year. When I called the clinic, they told me they have no record of charging me and said that Kleer is the people that's charging me. Kleer however has no customer service number and does not reply to emails so no way to contact. I checked with my bank, based on the merchant information and phone number, my bank confirmed that the merchant charging me is Smiles West Montebello. Do not give your credit card information to them, total SCAM

Wahba is the only dentist at this location making it understandable that there will be a likely wait so plan ahead.

SO when I let her know we needed to go to the dentist it was a disaster! But what wasn't a disaster was that the day we arrived ALL of the staff was friendly right from the moment we walked in. Everyone is VERY well acquainted with how difficult it is for some kids and they made the entire process fun and explained everything to my kid in ways that kids can understand what was being done or needed from them. The waiting room has a great sized TV where they are playing kids movies and they have tablets that kids can play on, although there was only one working tablet at the time of our visit- so kids had to "fight" for the use of the tablets. My kid was immediately given a stuffed animal upon arrival, then when her routine check up was done she got to pick out a balloon and a toy from their toy box area. We also had to take care of some cavities and that was also another smooth procedure! My kid was able to choose a movie to watch during the whole thing and she was then able to choose TWO MORE toys! In summary , if you as a parent are anxious about your child's first dental visit and are looking for a place that is well experienced with kids who are nervous or scared, Childrens Dental Fun Zone is a good choice for you.

I brought my daughter here before and initially that was my thoughts..... is this place gonna be ok? It looks a bit dated and not like some other places with higher tech or contemporary tools. In the end, I don't care about how the building looks, I don't care how the interior looks. And don't let me make u change your mind because of my words. No toys in the waiting room, no fancy stuff her n there but I'm good! You are welcome to see my pictures enclosed. What I want to say is that, after I checked in. The lovely lady is so good with my kids on their x rays. I really got to say, my daughter was 100% comfortable at age 3, and she was able to put my daughter so relaxed and calm and within mins the x rays were done. My son is 2! Almost 3, he is more than a handful, and again the lady did his x rays with flying colors. I just don't know how Then during my kids visit with the dentist, Scot W., He was very informative, kind, professional, and understanding. He was able to just make me feel good by teaching me and telling me things that I should know, shows me the x rays and explains the present and the future of what he foresees. He then finishes the process efficiently and my kids leave happy! I just want to say thank you doctor Scot, you make my kids dental appointments easy and painless! I will continue to go to him with all my kids! Thank you for reading!

For a place that's supposedly committed to pediatric dentistry, Parklane sure makes it difficult for kids to be seen. The pediatric dentist is only available on Wednesdays, which is probably where most of our issues arose. During our 4yo son's cleaning/checkup in April 2026, we were told that he may need a tooth extraction soon or the infection in one of his teeth might spread to his other teeth. We decided not to schedule the extraction at that time as we needed to think about it and the timing of the procedure. A month later, in May 2026, our son was complaining of the tooth pain, so we called to schedule the appointment to pull the tooth, only to be told that an appointment won't be available until August 2026. That seems an awful long time to wait to pull an infected tooth, but apparently, 3 months is the earliest availability. We brought our 1yo daughter in for her cleaning and exam. It took 1.5 hours, and of that, 1 hour and 15 min was waiting. Waiting in the lobby ~25 min to be admitted. In the room, waiting for 55+ min to be seen. Even with nonstop bluey loop (not full episodes, but a YouTube loop of random clips), our toddler was going nuts and so were we. I had to go move the car at some point, which I guess is when the dentist came in and did the cleaning (hubby said it took at most 10 min). You'd think that pediatric dentists, especially the ones who see younger patients, would understand the need for timeliness with energetic toddlers. We're switching dentists now, crossing our fingers that the paperwork transfer will go smoothly.
