Terrible customer service and poor management. Click List has become lazy and employees are nasty. They can not get the orders done in the time you reserve, they do not call before you waste your time driving all the way there to pick up your order to ask you to come back in an hour. They do not have supervisors overseeing them. The employees are extremely rude and have terrible communication and poor customer service. Poor management. Dave needs more training on how to handle a bad situation in his store. I was hung up on after asking for the managers name. As I sat there and waited to speak to a manager I see the employees who just told me they didn't have my order ready to come back standing outside the pickup area smoking and hanging out. My time is more valuable then to waste it on a company like this ever again. I strongly urge you to go spend your valuable time and money elsewhere. Sprouts on Decatur and 215 is very nice. I'm typically always observant of the atmosphere when I move to a new area, and with the current state of affairs in the US I'm always alert for welcoming atmospheres. I come into establishments such as this one with a genuinely inviting attitude because I'll be back a number of times and I like to establish a friendship/kinship with folks I regularly see. It doesn't feel too welcoming here as I smile and greet not only employees, but also consumers. I find myself hesitant to deduce the reason to me being black, but at the hint, I begin to pay more attention to others. I couldn't find French toast sticks so as I was paying for my other items, I asked the lady at self checkout if she could help me. Strangely I got a confused look, so I repeated myself then let her know my problem. Under the guise that "we make it right" I was shocked that after I signifies that I'd looked in the area, she replied, "we don't have any." I decided to rebuttal, "maybe someone can take a look?" She waved down a young gentleman to assist, so as he went about it, I continued checking out. I finished, and decided to observe more of the atmosphere. It just seems like the young black employees were on eggshells. I'll be back again, but it doesn't necessarily seem like the most genuinely friendly environment. read more

I just got off of work and had to do my grocery shopping quick. I have such a busy work schedule this week so this was my time to get my shopping done. I walked in around 11:25pm and checked what time they were open until, which was 12am. I had roughly 30 minutes, great! I rush through the store and fill up my cart as quickly as I can. I get to the register at 11:53 with a few minutes to spare. A few staff members (whose names are Wendy, and the manager on duty, Jacky) looked at my boyfriend and I and made the most disgusted faces at us and said "are you serious!!!" So I replied with, " am I doing something wrong?" and they yell out across from where they were standing, "we're closed!", my boyfriend responds with "its 11:53 & you close at 12:00am" Then Mary says, " we're not accepting any cash" and I respond saying, "were paying with card".... so they make this huge sigh with irritation and direct Mary to ring us up on register 8. Which she was very pleasant and apologetic because she knew we felt insulted and uncomfortable. Our transaction was completed at 11:57 pm which meant they were still open for another 3 minutes. Mind you, we just spent almost $300. Now in my place of business, we take pride in customer service and having our guests return to our business. I could not believe the lack of customer service and the unprofessionalism conducted by management and staff. I have never had such a bad experience from grocery shopping and I hope Corporate realizes the Management is not upholding their customer service requirements, and a change is made to better the guest experience. read more

I'm sincerely disappointed in the lack of Customer Service provided by the Customer Service representative, Brandy, at the Smith's Aliante location. A friend of mine has bravely decided to be a single mother. Which is to say she is on a journey to raise an incredible human being. Something Brandy's parents seemingly failed at. During my friend's visit she had trouble using her WIC card. Brandy felt the need to cast dirty looks while "assisting" my friend with her WIC card & swore persistently during the interaction. Meanwhile a fellow associate of the store came up to dish with Brandy about Brandy's ex. The conversation was borderline inappropriate & showed a lack of care for the customer I don't expect from the Smith's franchise. In a time when it's easy to tear each other down when she could just as easily be kind, Brandy did the former. I wish Smith's took as much care in choosing their employees as they did in choosing their produce. read more

This is for the bagging groceries process at the Aliante location. This has happened multiple times and I'm getting sick of it. I'm getting tempted to go to a different grocery store. I bring 4-5 of my own bags for a full shopping cart. Why is it that your baggers, specifically one man, doesn't like to put my tons of groceries in all the bags. They love to shove almost everything in to 2 bags. So I thought I'd solve this issue by asking really nicely if they wouldn't mind using all my bags because they get too heavy for me. Well today instead of the usual "sure", He gave the check out guy a look like "gimme a break", says "I always do", then proceeded to throw produce in the bag where I heard a thump. Thanks now I have bruised produce. Then shoved everything else in the other 2 bags. I've never worked in a grocery store but I'm positive berries and produce don't go on the bottom with cans on top. Why do they care how many bags I want used? Please retrain your baggers in how to bag, and some people may need more customer service skills help. Hopefully Mgmt will read this but who knows read more

Two stars because they carry Boar's Head Products. Everyone working here looks like they've been told they're going to have a mandatory colonoscopy at lunch. They block the aisles while restocking and act as if your shopping is unabashedly rude. The store is overpacked with stuff floating outside the aisles and hard to maneuver around with a cart. That's if you even have a cart. Usually they're all in the parking lot, strewn about. I've often had to return outside to acquire one. I also have encountered the cashier whom I quote, "Does not bag." He's a real charming individual. I'm fairly certain bagging is in his job description. Why he gets a pass here, I'm not sure. And, he doesn't tell you this until the end of checking through the items! It's super fun bagging about 50 items yourself while trying to pay as he and his dead eyes just glare at you. I once had a guy who worked there a few years back come and rearrange my items on the belt to HIS liking. I've never encountered that ever in my 50 years alive. It was just bizarre. I only go there when all of my other options are exhausted. The produce is sketchy. The shelves are sometimes reminiscent of a Florida grocery store the week a hurricane is expected. Some of the ladies in the deli are nice. That's about it. read more

This is one of the better Smith's grocery stores in the north part of the valley. Everyone I've dealt with is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you find what you need. The service at the deli is exceptional. All the ladies behind the counter work so well together and help each other out when they see a lot of people waiting in line. And the gentlemen who usually mans the self checkout stations is extremely friendly and welcoming. You don't get that type of service at any other Smith's. The store is always clean and not cluttered like other Smith's stores in the area. Keep doing what you're doing. Your hard work is much appreciated. read more

I went here to use a coupon I received in the mail from the manufacture. It was literally a free item with the use of the coupon. It wasn't busy at all, I went through the self checkout and the self checkout attendant tried to assist by scanning everything in for me. For some reason when he went to scan the coupon he said it wasn't working. So he attempted again and again. Then finally he went to the store manager and the store manager looked at the coupon and didn't accept it. The attendant comes back to me and apologizes and said that the store manager won't accept it. A little disappointed, but I didn't make it a big deal because I was gonna go try somewhere else. So I ended up trying at a Walmart and just like the same, I went through a self check out. The Walmart self checkout registers accepted it and I received a huge discount for the item with my coupon. I don't know, for me the store manager could've done more rather than just say no. He probably saw that the manufacturer's coupon was worth more than the item. He probably didn't like it that I was getting it for free. This actually happened about year ago, but haven't had the time to place reviews. This experience stood out and was stuck in my mind the entire time because it was from the manufacturer and they would've credited them. read more

I was at the store about a couple days ago the lady always working self check out was at a register we like to go through her so we went to her . My husband and I always go through her she is a super nice lady she is the reason I always go me and my husband always have a great experience every time we encounter her. The day we went they may have been low on baggers the lady that always helps us did not want me bagging my groceries she called for assistant to help me . The reason I am giving a one star is because. I believe she was a new manager she may be New .were always in there we never seen her . was very rude to cashier she talked down to her said something along the lines there was no need to call for a bagger there was only three and that was all the help they had . I don't mind having to bag my own groceries but i am disabled .The way this manager handled it was very rude . Made me as a customer feel very uncomfortable to have an employee talked down in front of us and not only did we have to bag our groceries which I don't mind the cashier helped us . But the way cashier was talked down to in front of us and a couple of customers in line heard the manager say that to cashier .this cashier is the reason were always at her line because she always putting the customer first and making sure our shopping experience is great . I hope they get more baggers and that this manager learns how to address her employees and learns more about putting customer first. read more
