Late night shopping and only self check out was open. I had difficulty twice with the process of self-check out. Lack of continued Customer assistance. I shop at this location often and its first of poor service. I left all my items at the store. I walked out disgusted. Only then did an Employee "run" and ask if she could assist. Deep sigh. I would give this smiths zero stars if possible. I have always enjoyed shopping at smiths and I have been to locations all over the valley. This is by far the worst and that is based solely on the attitudes of the employees! They are all entitled and feel as though they are always in the right. I have been harassed on multiple occasions by several different employees. There is very few friendly employees and the manager Lindsey is useless. She lets the employees get away with speaking to shoppers however they want. I live only minutes from this smiths, but would rather drive 20 minutes to any other store than shop here. First let me say that I've been shopping in this store for years. I came in to purchase a prepaid phone on Sunday evening at 7:00pm. Spoke with the manager who informed me that she was shorthanded and the customer service desk was closed until Monday. She said she would not help me at the customer service desk. She was extremely rude and said I could come back tomorrow. The interaction with customers in this store has been at an all time low since way before Covid. WROST GROCERY STORE I EVER BEEN TOO. Ok I am going to start and say i spend almost 100 bucks a week here. You would expect in a nice area like Aliante that the grocery store is better then a grocery store you would find in a small foreign country. You have the worst and most sloppy messy produce section I have ever seen. There is mold near the fresh produce!!!!! Second, your seafood section is THE WORST!!!!! Sign says they close at 10pm...but when you go at 815, they are already cleared out the seafood and meats! Why have a sign that says 10pm, but close at 815. And then when you ask for something they are RUDE!!! If i would have heard what the Seafood guy said to my wife we would have had problems....if you hate your job so much...go to school! I then told the manager who appears to be 12 years old what had happened and he just nodded his head and went on checking out another guest....your Grocery store is terrible. I LOVE the simple truth brands. I buy organic foods and it is a pleasure to have the added variety. I eat a lot of foods from the produce dept. Most are okay, however, I have a BIG issue with avocados. I understand that organic with cost more, but I would the like avocado to be edible. Nothing is more beautiful than a unblemished avocado and nothing worse than a blackened one. I would estimate that more than 50% of the time they are bad and those are the ones I had to pick through to find!. MOST of the avocados that are displayed are soft and should not be out for sale. There is deplorable filth where the dispensary is for packaged hot dogs and sausages . Then when I brought it to the attention of one of the man managers on duty he copped an attitude and told me it was done last night. So I went and took a picture and showed him that it was still filthy today and he got angry. Also when you reach into grab the hotdogs it's easy to cut your hand on the shelf above the package you are trying to pull out. I cut my finger near the 3rd knuckle on my left hand yesterday. So when I went to get hotdogs today I saw what I think was a reddish brown liquid on the outside of the sealed hotdog package. I have been shopping at Smiths since I moved to Las Vegas. Recently, I've noticed the quality of fruits and vegetables were not top quality. I can't tell you how many onions and potatoes I've had to throw out after only a few days. I know not to store them together. The last time I bought onions I purchased them separately,( because I noticed the bagged onions and potatoes ALWAYS had one rotten piece in them, which makes the rest go rotten). Not two days later, the onions were completely black with some type of mold. It's not just root vegetables either. I bought cucumbers that I put into the crisper in my fridge. Couple days later I went to grab it and it was mush. So now this brings me to this past Wednesday. I bought a family pack bone in pork chops. I brought them home to divide into portions. When I opened the cellophane, the smell was so bad. The chops were green underneath the first layer. My husband took them back and they gave him another pack. I opened them and again pork chops were smelly and green. I'm honestly going to try Albertsons or even Walmart. I doubt I will be shopping there anytime soon again. read more

Just moved to this side of town and I am very happy this is now my local grocery store! The prices are impressive, the store has a wide variety of items (competes with other chain stores in the area like Target, WalMart, Fresh & Easy, etc.) and it has an overall friendly neighborhood market feel. I rented a carpet cleaner the week we moved in and the store manager was the one to help me with it. She was very friendly and helpful. Customer service is certainly a lost art in this city and this store is mastering it. Also impressed with the pharmacy. Friendly, easy, and never too busy. Not a fan of the store's bakery items or alcohol selection, but outside of that it has all you expect in a grocery store. read more

This store is clean and well laid out. They carry a wide variety of items. I live a few houses away from this store. I shop there twice each month. Albertson's is a few minutes away. I guess they will be my new grocery store. My problem with this particular Smith's is the staff at the self checkout. At times they are busy, but there are times when they are not busy and the wait is still way too long. There is a blonde lady in there whose first initial starts with C. She is extremely rude and I am going there, lazy. She does not want to work, why is she there? A brown haired agent was helping complete a transaction but as C. did not want to help her peer who needed to go to the bathroom the lady helping me told her to work with me and she left to help her peer. C. then walked away to help a customer who came in after me. I waited until she had completed his transactions for him and then she stood there looking around for someone else to assist. I approached her and told her I was the next person and that the other lady had spoken to her. Her reply, "I am busy." Then she walks off and leans against an area in the checkout area. I don't know what she was waiting for, I guess a Caucasian customer who needed help or maybe she just did not want to work that day. This is not the first instance the staff in the checkout area acts as if we are bothering them. The manager was no help, she told me to join a long line at the customer service desk because that is where I should have gone in the first place. Well the first lady told me to get the receipt and return to her. Smith's your item is overpriced. It sells for $5.59 in Sally's Beauty Supply Store. You were charging $7.99 + tax and to had insult to injury, your price tag said $2.99. It is not my fault that your price tag was incorrect. read more

This is my go to store. The staff is amazing and the pharmacy staff is top of the line. They recently renovated and the store is more welcoming than ever. The fresh deli section has a great selection and my kids never miss the .25 Comes. Now they've even put out a box in the produce area with snacks for your kids as you shop - that sure helps with the gimmes that my kids usually have while we are there. I frequently do my grocery shopping at this store. It's always clean. The produce and meats are usually pretty fresh but once in a while they have out some less than quality items but for the most part I have no problems finding what I need. Most of the staff is very courteous. I've never been in walking through the store and not been told hello and asked if I was finding everything okay. I went with four stars because of the few times I've found poor quality produce or meat. read more

Just used Click List for the first time, excellent. My order was ready at scheduled time and complete. Transaction was quick and easy. Also saved money by not impulse buying. This would be great for a parent that has to take kids with them or for people who have trouble walking. First three times are free. After that service is $4.95, I spend more than that impulse buying or at the Starbucks inside! What a great program. read more

I frequent a different Smith's location usually, but haven't been happy with the service from the employees in the deli, so I decided to try this location on Aliante Pkwy out. One of the main reasons I visit Smith's is for the selection of Boar's Head Meats and cheeses they offer in the deli. Pleased with my first visit at this location, I have now been by a few times because I was not only happy with the service I received in the deli and the fact that they listen to my requests of how much I want and how I want it sliced, but the produce section was good sized and everything was fresh and priced decently. They offer a good variety of breads, pastries and bagels in the deli. The bagels are really good, I use them often to make sandwiches and I have to stop by before around noon to get the selection of flavors I want because they get picked through early in the day. Cashiers are friendly when I have gone through a line, but I love the self-checkout option since I usually only have a few items and I am able enter my Smith's rewards card with no problem giving me the proper discounts and cash back is also an option at self-checkout. The parking lot can get crazy busy since there are a lot of other businesses (cramped awkwardly I should add) in the shopping center. Driving through parts of the parking lot can be frustrating, but I'll continue to brave it because I like this location. read more

I am fortunate to live in an area where I have several choices to grocery shop at. This smiths has always been my first choice. The selection and prices and general cleanliness of this store are always good. My only pet peeve is when I go to check out with a cart full is groceries they are always trying to get me to go to self check out. I tell them no thanks... .as I don't mind waiting in line. I prefer it. If I have just a few items I will go. Today 2 people approved me...I declined.. ...and a third came over... started pulling my cart and said I will take you here, I assumed ..she was opening another lane ..so I followed her and she took me to self checkout! So now I've lost my place in line, and am in a crowded corral with 20 other people all over, I declined her help and did it myself, when I went to pay it said I had to wait for an attendant, which of course by now are nowhere to be seen, ...and I watched 3 people that would have been behind me in my first line leave. Very frustrating! I understand the concept of trying to keep the lines down, ...and I know sometimes the are not enough people to have more open , ...if it was a problem I would have gone to self checkout in the first place. It makes me want to spend more money and go to Albertsons. read more

I moved a tiny bit uptown and this Smith's is now the closest to home. I kind of despise this store. I get my weekly ad and make my list. I don't know why I keep coming back to this place because they usually only have half the stuff listed on sale from the ads. As a self proclaimed cheapskate this really bugs me. The only thing I can say I like about this store is the layout because it works on how I pick up things when shopping. I can get all of my non-perishables first then head up the back to get meat, dairy, and frozen goods in one fell swoop. I really like the Smith's at Camino Al Norte and Ann road, so even though it's farther away, I aim for that store instead. The people who work there are just friendlier, the store is bigger, and they have all the sale items I want without frustration. read more

Lacking customer service big time! I go to the grocery store at least 4 times a week. Employees lack good customer service and seem to have a miserable attitude at this location. I've been in Vegas a year and have been to the Aliante Smith's many times. Always disappointing and frankly I feel a negative attitude almost every time I go. Here is my feed back with Smith's corporate... Thank you for acknowledging my feedback but I don't feel that this response alone is satisfactory nor does it address the issue. I believe my survey asked for an email or phone call response, which other than this I have had none. The store manager's name is Matt and I have shared with him in the recent past both positive and negative experiences. My last negative feedback had to do with a checker who did not want to bag my groceries. I was asked if I wanted to do it? Matt's feedback to me was to the effect that if he didn't get negative feedback he would get none at all. I told him to hold it right there, just a few days before that we did a survey praising Jeanette in Seafood. She even thanked us as it resulted in favorable attention among her coworkers. Of the 4 Smith stores closest to me (Aliante being the closest), Aliante is the most cluttered, least friendly overall and has the worst produce. Do you want to buy soft bell peppers, squishy onions, Cilantro that has brown leaves, celery that is scarred from cutting, apples that are brown when you bite or cut into them? The apples happened this past fall - when they are in season!!! I should start recording my experiences and maybe then you'll step up and do the right thing. I want to hear from Matt's management going forward or I will record this and share it with the local news. I shop Smiths often, I had a SUPERVISOR get annoyed because she was trying to get out of there and directed me to self check. I refused and said I would like a cashier. The SUPERVISOR says to me, well she is on break so you will be waiting approximately 15 min. with no guarantee that the cashier will not get put some where else. I simply stated I can wait for a cashier, however; I will be phoning the store manager if it is more than a few minutes. Sorry. DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOU ARE PUTTING YOURSELF AND FAMILY MEMBERS OUT OF A JOB!!! I love when they say. No it actually creates other jobs. Today there was one register open other than their "self check". I choose not to use it as it takes away jobs. When a total of 9 people were in line a gentleman (from self check) came to me and said, "I can take you over here". I told him I was find. His comment? "If you want to stand in line, go ahead and stand in line." Wow! I used to like this Smith's, but I saw morale start to go down the tubes about 3 years ago. Everybody working there seems miserable, and this total lack of tact was nothing short of disgusting! I love Smiths and the people who work there are super friendly! However... There have been a large amount of flies flying around. This is a little disconcerting and reflects badly on the cleanliness of the store. They were really clean before! I don't know what's up recently. I understand they have produce and there are little "hitchhikers" that may take a ride all the way to the store from shipment, but there are ways of preventing this. Terrible customer service and poor management. Click List has become lazy and employees are nasty. They can not get the orders done in the time you reserve, they do not call before you waste your time driving all the way there to pick up your order to ask you to come back in an hour. They do not have supervisors overseeing them. The employees are extremely rude and have terrible communication and poor customer service. Poor management. Dave needs more training on how to handle a bad situation in his store. I was hung up on after asking for the managers name. As I sat there and waited to speak to a manager I see the employees who just told me they didn't have my order ready to come back standing outside the pickup area smoking and hanging out.
