These guys are really quick, really professional. They're good at explaining things that reflects your auto knowledge as well, I've heard them simplify things for customers much better than I could. They'll give you tips on how to try and make your car pass if it doesn't, recommend people too. And you get a free retest if it fails the first time. This place is by far the best smog test center I have been to. I had lost my DMV paperwork for the smog test. Most places I called for pricing tried to charge me an extra fee to type in the information that was on the paperwork. But these guys were great and had no extra charge. Very good service and helpful! Helped me through an issue where an aftermarket air filter I had needed a sticker to comply with DMV requirements. Gave me all the information I needed to obtain the sticker from the manufacturer and I was able to return and finish the smog test with my new sticker and passed in 10 minutes. I had a terrible experience at this place. I went to do my out of state smog inspection there but they had no idea how to do that. Before arriving at their shop I've confirmed with both CA and IL what the requirements are for out of state inspection. They just wasted my time and basically didn't want to admit that they don't know how to do it. What was most upsetting is that the guy who was supposed to do the inspection pulled out my car out of the shop and aborted the inspection when I specifically asked him to give me 5 minutes to get the DMV on the phone so they can explain to him how to transmit the smog certificate for out of state vehicles. There was only one person waiting after me and apparently that customer was way more important than me. I rarely write reviews but I just hate when people don't admit that they don't know how to do their job and waste your time. read more

If you show up after about 4pm, they will be there but won't even get up to tell you 'sorry we are closing.' They will just sit at their computer games and give you a look like 'don't you get it, we are not going to talk to you.' i would not ever trust them i was a person dealing with them from 05 tell last year then they charged me an extra 20.00 to smog my 96 Toyota Camry a car that passed smog every time and was told do to its year it costs more to smog but yet my car passed with flying colors also this shop will for the rite price cheat sheet a car threw i bought a van that was cheat sheeted from same shop 1 had to replace cat and muffler on the van and o2 sencer as well so if you have an older car stay away from this shop they are rip offs read more
