Always close parking for me. Restaurant has always been kept up, clean, and spacious. Service has always been great for me; inviting, welcoming, friendly, nice and professional. Was definitely my go to spot for a brisket grilled cheese sandwich with Mac n cheese on the side. Haven't been able to locate a spot since.
I ordered the 1 lb of prime smoked brisket, yes a whole pound because I make good life choices, it came with Texas toast and coleslaw. The brisket? Melt-in-your-mouth magic. The kind of food that makes you close your eyes while chewing. Then I built my own bowl like I was on a episode of Barbecue Showdown-- mac & cheese base, smoked brisket (again, because why not double down), fried onions, hot Cheetos, and pickles on the side for balance (health, obviously). 10/10 would build again. PLUS they had a buy-one-get-one on craft beers, which felt like the universe saying "you deserve this." Beers were ice cold and went down way too easy. The environment was super welcoming, with a chill outdoor seating area that's ideal for get togethers. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there. You can really feel the good vibes. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to with friends and family. Highly recommend
Smoke & Fire has always been a family favorite, so I was excited to see a location closer to home--no more driving to La Habra or Anaheim! We've tried the Big Texan, Brisket Quesadilla, Smash Burgers, and Texas-Style Brisket Fries--everything was delicious. The brisket is super moist and not overly salty, and the BBQ sauce is spot on. Portions are generous, so come hungry! Only downside: the waffle fries don't hold up well--definitely best eaten fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, a solid spot for BBQ cravings!
The flavor was there but the details missed. The food took 25 minutes to come out even though there wasn't a lot of people. The staff were really nice though. Plenty of parking, beer selection & inside/outside seating. Smoked Brisket Fries -- the brisket itself had good flavor along with the bbq sauce. It was super tender and moist. They barely put any cheese on the fries, which was a bummer. The fries themselves were so hard they had a crunch and felt like chips that I ended up leaving most of them. Pretzel -- soooo delicious, soft and fluffy. The cheese has really good flavor it just hardens really quickly so make sure to eat first. Texas Beef Brisket Grilled Cheese -- this was a win. Really complex flavors with the good brisket. Nailed it.
I will say the food was good, the brisket was super tender, flavorful. I loved the waffle fries, very crispy and yummy. On the other hand, my server was not friendly at all, even though I told her this was my first time here. It was like she did not care at all. The tables were dirty, I had to clean my own table. I might return again to give them a second chance but just because the food was great.
9/10 Brisket Quesadilla - $13.99 (before tax). The outside is super cheesy. So so so yummy. It gives it a crunchy texture. It comes with a ton of brisket as well. 8.5/10 Mac and Cheese- $5.00 (before tax). I love the noodles they use for this mac and cheese. Its pretty cheesy and full of flavor. I warn you that they throw tons of pepper on the mac and cheese. Personally, I love pepper so it didn't bother me.
3 jumbo chicken tender: Not the same anymore... !!! My family and I used to love their chicken tenders but it's not the same anymore!! This is the second time we felt this way. Last time we let that go as maybe it was just that time but it happened again today. 1. They're still jumbo but so thick and the bread wasn't on one tender. And bread fell off from 2 other tenders. Not crispy at all. It's like we were eating non-breaded chicken tender with no flavor. 2. We like their pickles so we order an extra pickles as a side for $1.50. Then we didn't have any pickle slices in our tender boxes that we ordered. 3. The toast was on the bottom of the all 3 tenders so by the time we got to eat, it was so soggy. We were so displeased with our order today. We really liked 3 jumbo tenders but we WILL NOT order them ever again. We normally enjoy everything we order here but we started questioning today. So disappointed..
Honestly, this food is super duper delicious!!! Seriously, comfort food on steroids. We have tried quite a few items on the menu. But, so far all time favourite is the mac and cheese brisket. Perfect. We usually do take out, but we always get our food in a timely manner. It the food is always hot. Perhaps one day we will dine in, so I can't comment on ambiance.
So so so good. The portions are huge. So sharing is the way to go. The lemonade is not too sweet... so that means it was perfect. It's a family ambiance. The staff is nice and polite. It's Pat at the register, get a number and they bring to your table. Casual, laid back and everyone is easy going. All in all a good place.
I was in the mood for brisket, we were in the area and had about an hour to eat. We found this establishment and decided to try it. They have a good size parking lot in the back. Bbq smoke is billowing out the top of the restaurant. I took this as a good sign. Once inside you order at the counter, then they give you a number and you find a table. I had the half pound brisket plate with a side of Mac and cheese. My daughter had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, medium heat. My wife ordered the smash burger. They had quite a few craft beers on tap. Villains west coast ipa is what I chose. Maybe 15 minutes our food is brought out. The brisket was 2 giant slices. The meat had a nice bark, the meat is pull apart tender and the flavor is perfect. Sliced pickles coleslaw and a couple of slices of toasted bread are served on the side. The Mac and cheese is creamy. My daughter's chicken sandwich is spicy. I tried a bite and the heat was present but not over powering. The spice level was perfect for a medium. The waffle fries were good and served with a side of ranch. The smash burger was really cheesy. The melted cheese with the crispy meat patty was outstanding. I was really surprised and impressed that 3 very different meals were all executed perfectly. A smoked meat, a fried chicken breast and a flat top grilled beef patty. Bravo to the kitchen staff. If we are ever in the area, we are definitely coming back.
My husband and I are new to the area and my cousin recommended Smoke and Fire. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the nicest host/cashiers, Ms. Judith. She was so kind and offered great recommendations since it was our first visit. We already knew we wanted brisket, but we were pleasantly surprised to see a smash burger on the menu (our absolute favorite type of burger). We ended up ordering the smash burger and the brisket plate. Since that first visit, we've come back and ordered the exact same thing because it was just that good. The smash burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly for us. It wasn't greasy, and the soft buns made it even better. The brisket was super tender and smoky, and when paired with their BBQ sauce, it was absolutely delicious. Even the slaw that came with it was surprisingly good, and not every place gets slaw right. The dining area is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot for groups, dates, or even a casual meal alone. They also have a wide variety of beers on tap. (I don't drink, so I can't say much more than that, but the selection looked impressive.) Parking is available, though the lot is shared with other restaurants. It can get a little packed during certain times, but it's manageable. Overall, we're so glad we found this place. Friendly staff, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a spot we'll definitely keep coming back to.

Smoke & Fire When I first walked in I was delighted with the ambiance, nice high ceilings, very clean space. I was greeted with a smile by Diamond, who gave me a chance to look at the menu which was rich with a bunch of incredible options making me want to try absolutely everything! We split a pound of brisket which came with coleslaw and some toast. The brisket was deliciously smoked, and completely fell apart with the fork. 1 pound was enough for us to take home some great leftovers. But no. We didn't stop there. We also got a side of mac and cheese, and some waffle fries. The mac and cheese was very creamy and tasty, not watery at all. Would get it again! A great meal for sure! But wait...we didn't stop there. My girlfriend decided to try Lauren's salad, which was also very good with roasted nuts, avocado, apples, beets, and other delights. Any normal people would stop there. But I couldn't... After I ordered all that food, I proceeded to walk over to my table only to see the people next to me eating a delicious looking chili and brisket bowl stuffed into a hollowed-out piece of bread. So of course I had to run back to Diamond and order one for my table. It was exactly what I expected and I had to stop myself from mindlessly eating all of the crunchy bread bowl. Diamond was fantastic by the way, full of smiles, and gave me two free beers as well as a free mud pie for dessert (we took it home so it's not photographed in the review). They have a bunch of draft beer in the back so if you order beer make sure to walk over there and hand them your receipt to claim it!). They also had some cool lemonade with activated charcoal in it to help digestion. Would I return here? Heck yes! Everything was delicious and the service was great. read more

What in the world that sandwich was ridiculous good! First of all the size was enormous the coleslaw perfect the pretzel bun scrumptious ! The heat on that meal was to perfection. I love the Chris cut fries One order was perfect for two people. My friend loved her grilled cheese brisket 100%! I would give you more stars if I could. Definitely going back again !!! First thing, COME HUNGRY! We came here last week and had to come back for more!!!! Tom was absolutely amazing! Great customer service and then the young lady who brought our food was the absolute sweetest. I apologize for not remembering her name but she was FANTASTIC. We ordered the Brisket Quesadilla, Brisket Tacos and Nashville Chicken Hot Fries. Tacos=SO GOOD! The slaw on top made me want more! Quesadilla=BEST QUESADILLA I'VE EVER HAD! The combo of the brisket, BBQ sauce, slaw and the pickled onions was PERFECT! FRIES= Fiance ate this one since I can't handle heat at the moment. He loved it! We came hungry but we had to take some of it home for a snack later. Can't wait to come back!! read more

The food was really good and the service was fantastic! Diamond recommend the Smoked Brisket fries (soooo good!) and the smash Burger. My daughter Also ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which I thought was good but my daughter didn't care for it. The coleslaw was a little too peppery for her taste. Really good food for a decent price!! I usually get the Nashville hot chicken fries and the add on brisket. Last time I really wanted to try the street corn but they were out so I got it today! Love the fried onions on top! 3oz brisket is $5, 6oz is $10, good deal and comes with toast, coleslaw, bbq sauce, and pickles! Sam helped us out today, basically like a quick service where you order with the cashier and then wait for the food to be brought over! read more

Food was delicious some menu items are up in price range but trust me when I say so worth it wait time for food was super fast and let me tell you they don't mess around when it comes to the portions! Too. Legit. To. Quit. Great place. Had brisket grilled cheese, brisket Mac n cheese, Nashville hot chicken and street corn. Pretty fast service, we sat outside; you order up front and they bring the food to your table. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Back to the food: Grilled cheese was awesome 5/5 It was like the cheese was a thick envelope for the sweet, smoky brisket. Texas toast was buttery and well grilled. Nashville hot chicken 4/5: HUGE chicken cutlet (overhanging the bun by 2x!) but pretty thin, maybe 1/2 inch. Great flavor (spice level 4/5 is pleasantly hot but not mind-meltingly) but not juicy. And it has no sauce of any kind on it. IMO Would be better thicker and dipped in sauce. Otherwise wonderful. Great bun and nice tangy slaw. Brisket mac n cheese 5/5: giant portion, very creamy mac and sweet, smoky brisket. Perfect cooling counterpoint to the hot chicken. Street corn 3/5: comes in a small cup with crispy onions. Creamy, with some char, and has a little funk that we couldnt place: dry cheese? We were mixed on this, may or may not get it again. I liked it, wife was just Ok with it. Tommy stopped by to talk to us and recommended brisket burrito and brisket tacos for next time. Even brought us drinks. Too bad they were out of the smoky lemonade, strawberry lemonade was good but a bit sweet. Great experience overall, we'll be back! read more

Ok I gotta come and change this, because we just had the best service and meal on our 2nd go. First off, Neli is an amazing employee, and human being. She's extremely welcoming and full of energy. Before we ordered Neli suggested we try the brisket quesadilla, we put all our trust in this, and agreed. We also got the brisket fries, because those are always an out the park home run. Got to also try the Dino rib this time around as well. OK so let's start with the Dino rib. Meat was tender and the fat was mouth watering. Get some extra BBQ sauce with it for sure so you can dip all that meat. Fries? Always a banger.. Crispy waffle fries, tender meat, along with the pickles, pickled onions, and cheese sauce.. Ties it all together... Get these. OK now for the item that came so heavily suggested... The one Neli put it all on the line for... The brisket quesadilla... This damn thing is life changing!! I can't even describe it. Just do yourself a favor... And whether your eating it for yourself or splitting it... Get this quesadilla... It's well worth it!! I have not yet bought stock into the fad of ever growing list of fried chicken/new age BBQ places. It seems like a new place opens up every week to satisfy the cravings that people have towards man's best animal. It is not a dog, you silly. You can live without a dog but I dare you to live without chicken! This is my first time venturing into a fried chicken place. (No, KFC does not count and neither does the Albertson's hot chicken cart at their bakery section!) A very polite employee took our order. He explained the menu and portion sizes in detail, answered the questions we had, and recommended dishes based on them. We went in right as they opened and by the time we left there was a line out of the door waiting to order. Drinks have to be picked up at the counter near the soda fountain. Food will be brought to your table. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich I ate was good. The portion size is a little heavy for lunch. Keep that in mind before fretting at the $11.99 price tag. This is not your $1.50 MickeyD spicy chicken sandwich. You can see that the chicken is prepared super fresh with abundant care. It was moist inside, fried to perfection, seasonings that were not overly salty, and definitely brings the heat to the "hot" moniker. Colleague loved his Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich. I thought the portion size was a tad bit small but he mentioned it was heavy after he completed eating it. I am not sure if the 5 lbs. of waffle fries they provided had anything to do with being full! The hot sauce/powder is hotttttt. There is no water provided for patrons opting to dine in. I am knocking a star off this review just for that. There isn't anyone tending to tables after your food is served. The next time (Yes, there will be a next time) I will make sure to get water along with the order to avoid resorting to eating fries to calm my palate. read more

Brisket on Waffle Fries is a new fav. Smoke and Fire has a casual feel to it with restaurant level service. You order your food at the front counter and then take your seat to wait. There are many waiters and waitresses crawling the restaurant floor ready to assist you if need be. We ordered the Texas-style brisket fries and a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. For me, the brisket fries were the star of the show. The waffle fries gave crunch and structure to eating some delicious brisket. While we were enjoying the brisket fries, one of the employees said he would know just the thing that would go with it. He then went in the back and brought us some Mac n cheese on the house! This really made the experience all the more amazing. And he was certainly right, Mac n cheese made for some truly loaded fries. read more

Holy cow, this place is great. I feel very lucky were locals because I am not opposed to returning soon! I came here with the husbo today and was very happy with what we ordered: brisket quesadilla, smash burger, Nashville hot chicken sandwich (mild). Because it was our first time here, the dude at the counter gave us a free small mac n cheese and two drink cups, that eliminated $12 right there. The brisket quesadilla was so damned good. The meat is tender and flavorful and just fatty enough to add a great hit. The picked onions on top just fell right off, so I think I'd prefer them inside the quesadilla, but that is simply a matter of preference. I'd need to share it because there is quite a lot of meat in there. The smash burger was the quintessential smash burger. It's not the best one I've ever had, but definitely a solid choice if smash burgers are your thing. Again, the sweet pickles work well in it. It's very cheesy! The Nashville hot chicken, which we ordered mild, was fantastic. The seasoning on the chicken was very good. It was like two huge tenders in this small bun haha. The coleslaw inside was nicely peppery and the sweet pickles (which I normally detest) worked so well in it. The mac n cheese was very peppery, which I love. It is VERY thick and cheesy, so we had to share even the small cup. Their fire strawberry lemonade isn't actually spicy, it's simply strawberry lemonade. The husbo enjoyed it. I was excited to see they had unsweetened black tea on tap. The service was highly attentive and you can tell they give a shit about your experience and their product. Food is out of this world amazing and worth every cent. Just as amazing is their customer service. This time, Mark and Diamond helped us and couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They were on top of everyone's needs, and went above and beyond to help us and others, all with a smile! I asked their names so I could give them the shout out they deserve :-) highly recommend the short rib anything and either the smash burger fries or Mac. The brisket grilled cheese is worth the price and could feed 3 people. Lemonade is on point too. read more

Best BBQ in town! Have seen this suggested on Instagram & Yelp and finally came in to give it a try. Thank you to Neli for the awesome customer service Ordered the brisket grilled cheese, The Mac Rib, Short rib burrito, fries & giant pretzel. The bbq was amazing! Great flavor and super tender. I have been to this restaurant but in the La Habra location. It's usually very good but this time it was not as good. The brisket grilled cheese was cold and lacking in flavor. The Nashville burrito was delicious though! The burrito was nice and warm and I kept stealing bites from my dads plate. Oops. The waffle fries were tasty per usual. Service was great. The restaurant inside was pretty spacious and nicely decorated. I would try again but I will go back to the La Habra one. read more

This place is great! The food and the staff was wonderful. The partner Tommy is awesome!! This was our first time and definitely won't be the last. We knew we had to get the Mac Rib it was in the not so secret menu. The humongous rib is so flavorful and tender along with the 2 smash burgers it was heaven in between 3 slices of bread. They definitely know how to smoke meat. We were not sure about ordering the brisket quesadillas but Tommy promised us that we would love it and sure enough WE LOVED IT!!! The tender brisket topped with their home made picked onions was the best!! We will be coming back with the rest of the family. Thanks Tommy! read more

As many times as I have been here, today was the first time coming in knowing what I wanted. I had to try the Nashville chicken tacos. No heat! Add the bar b q sauce, please. Nelie, the manager, informs me to check in on Yelp for my free drink, and in doing so, I also got a free sample of that delicious mac n cheese with brisket. Oh, MAN! DELICIOUS! And you know I had to mix that delicious Hot Strawberry Lemonade with that Smoke Lemonade to top it all off. Always great service. Even though I'm in training, I will see yall soon. Bringing more friends to enjoy yall delicious food and great atmosphere! read more

First time here! My boyfriend's coworker had recommended this place to him. He's been to a different location, we heard this one was new. This place was packed on Friday Night! So glad we were recommended this place. Neli( long hair and tattoo sleeve) who was at the cashier, super sweet and helpful. Told her it was our first time, she recommended some great food to us. Today my husband and I finally checked this spot out. I found it on Instagram a few weeks back and had been dying to try the Mac and cheese with brisket. OMG first the service we received from Tommy at the front was just amazing never felt so welcome. Next Artesha dropped off our food and was nice enough to let me try all the sauces they have. I am big on sauces. After that she waited on us hand and foot and ended our wonderful service with their signature dessert. Food wise we ordered the brisket burrito and I'm not exaggerating best burrito I've ever had. Next the brisket Mac and cheese was yummy. The chicken tenders were legit a chicken breast per piece. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back just because of the excellent service Tommy and Artesha provided. read more

Definitely recommend this place! Let me first start off with the service. We were greeted and helped by Neil, who was every helpful and recommended the brisket quesadilla and let me tell you that was the best decision ever. The brisket quesadilla was super flavorful, the sauce they put on top is a plus, definitely my favorite We also got the Texas brisket grilled cheese, which was also a great choice. The combination on the toast, brisket and the cheese was like an explosion in your mouth. Very tasteful! read more

How spicy is the food? Reviews are about people that work there - I want to eat great food.
The food is really tasty. You can ask for spicy levels but by default it's very flavorful. Specially the Nashville chicken you can get it extremely spicy.
What is the happy hour specials / prices?
4-6 pm and 9-10 pm on alcohol . I believe it's buy one get one free
Does the Paramount location offer weekday happy hour specials?
