I'm leaning more for a 3.5 here, but let's go for the full 4. Admittedly, I was/am still coming off my high that I received from the Biscuit Love truck 3 days prior to my Smoke Et Al experience, so I believe this may have tainted both my taste buds and my otherwise very open minded reviewingness. Anywho, I got the Fiddlers Biscuit, as the "sour cream & sage biscuits" called out to me. It has smoked chicken, local green onions, and Tennessee wildflower honey, and I had the potato salad for the side. The biscuits were quite good...very dense, definitely need a drink with those, but they're tasty. I actually forgot about the honey until I discovered the bottom biscuit was soaked in something amazing tasting. WOW that honey was incred!! The chicken & potato salad were fine, but not spectacular. Overall, it was good, and while the truck wouldn't be my first choice to stop at, I wouldn't shut it out.

After reading the reviews about the Fiddler's Biscuits, I HAD to seek this truck out and try it for myself. For $8 you get (2) sour cream-sage biscuits filled with shredded smoked chicken, drizzled with Tennessee wildflower honey and topped with local green onions - OMG! Yes, it was that good! Since my hubby was with me, he ordered the Hot Brisket Sammy - a smoked beef brisket sandwich topped with spicy giardeniere, smoked peppers, herbs on a toasted hoagie roll - CRAZY GOOD!! All of their entrees come with a side...I tried the slaw and he tried the fried pickled okra. Both were excellent and complimented the meals perfectly. Another Nashville original food truck that knows how to "throw down"!

Amazing food, sweet BBQ and cheese... can't go wrong. Very friendly and so accommodating for my food allergy. Loved it and would drive out of my way to find it. I got the Smashville Nachos and I cant get enough

Fiddler's Biscuits = good. Potato salad = awful. The smoked chicken on the Fiddler's biscuits is nice and tender. Biscuits had good texture and flavor. But the potato salad was so sour, it tasted like someone had a party with too much vinegar, or lemon juice, or SOMETHING. My friend had a sandwich of some type with a patty made from several types of pork - she said it was so salty that she couldn't eat more than a few bites. Someone might need a little lighter hand with the seasoning.

I am now two for two o.m.g.c.r.a.c.k. at Smoke Et Al. #1 they have a good health score. #2 the food is absolutely amazing. It took me two bites into the ribs to wrap myself around the flavor and then after that I sucked them dry. The chicken tacos were so moist and flavorful. The cabbage and apple slaw is not mayonnaise-y and the bay thyme lemonade is refreshing and light. Tonight my mom and brother had the Nashdog and inhaled them. Very full and the price is under $10. They have a Google calendar that you can download off their website and merge with your own--that's how I know where they are. You can also follow on their website, Facebook, and Twitter.

On any given Saturday, a conglomerate of food trucks congregate at Centennial park. One particular truck, Smoke et al. caught my eye. They serve smoked meats and the like. I ordered the traditional pork sammie which included coleslaw and a vinegar-based white sauce on the side. The co-diners selected a Verde taco with pork (huge and looked fantastic) and pork sliders on homemade biscuits. Overall the reviews were favorable. And there was plenty of food for the $20 we spent for two. It was certainly one of the more popular trucks in the park.

A trend I've seen with Smoke Et Al is great main courses, mediocre sides. I had the brisket tacos and they were delish- great corn tortillas filled with tender brisket with both a spicy sauce and ranchy sauce and lots of greens and cilantro. Yum! It was a great portion size and so yummy. The side I got, though, was the fried mac and cheese, which was not so great. It was somewhat chewy and didn't have much flavor. Maybe I'll just stick to the mains and get my sides elsewhere next time.

My husband and I came here excited to try some authentic Tennessee BBQ and everything was honestly so good. I got the brisket with baked beans and mac & cheese, while my husband got the chicken with green beans and baked beans. First off... the brisket was SO tender and juicy. It paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce and those baked beans? OH MY GOD. The baked beans were seriously the star of the meal for me.. sweet, smoky, flavorful, and completely addicting. I could've eaten a whole bowl by myself The mac & cheese was also creamy and delicious, just solid comfort food all around. My husband loved his chicken too. Super juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all which is always a win with BBQ chicken. I also tried the Tennessee Sour and let me just say... they do not play around with drinks out here It was really good, but one more and I probably would've been done for the night lol. The hospitality here was amazing. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we'd come back to anytime we're in Nashville again. Thank you for such a great first BBQ experience in Tennessee! :)

What a disappointment!!!! Brisket was moist but had no flavor, the hoe cakes were bland, the hush puppies were dry. The rib were good as long as you put sauce on them . We also got pecan pie and fudge pie. The pecan was ok, but the fudge pie was gritty and pastie. We also got a root beer which was flat. We asked the guy who brought our food if we could get it replaced and he just stood there like he didn't understand. Then said I don't know and walked away. Terrible experience. So sad.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out they don't serve brisket at all, and since I arrived at 4:00 PM, they were completely sold out of ribs until 5:00 PM. Not wanting to wait around for an hour, I pivoted and ordered the smoked chicken, baked beans, and french fries. Here is how the meal stacked up: * The Smoked Chicken: This was the star of the show. It was incredibly good, and I'm pretty sure they gave me a generous half-chicken. Not sure what type of seasoning they use but it's a pretty good dry rub. For a total of $20 for the whole meal, I think the portion made it worth the price. * The Sauces: I paired the chicken with their hot barbecue sauce, and it definitely has a real kick to it! I absolutely loved it, but if you aren't big on heat, they do have a mild option available. * The Baked Beans: Very flavorful and loaded with real chunks of bacon. Word of warning: they serve them piping hot. They were probably boiling when they went into the Styrofoam cup, and I almost burnt my tongue lol. I had to let them cool down for at least 10 minutes before diving in, but they were worth the wait. * The French Fries: The weakest link of the meal. You can definitely tell they aren't homemade - they seem like standard frozen fries that are just deep-fried and tossed with some salt. The Takeaway: If you're looking for a traditional BBQ joint with a massive variety of sides, sausage, and brisket, you might find the menu a bit limited. The variety isn't massive, but what they do do, they do well.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. My kids played outside while we waited for our food, but the food came out quickly. The kids' meals are some of the best values in town. One tip: the bun on the kids' cheeseburger is huge compared to the patty. I asked if they could add an extra patty, and they did for just $1.
