This is a hidden gem in Yerka! The PPP was perfect, most places shy away from spice but from someone who loves spice it was perfect! The garlic bread and other pizzas were great as well! We always like to find the local pizza place that isn't a chain and give em try when we are in a new town. We found these guys on Yelp and we went in and ordered a pizza to go. The owner was there and took our order and had a nice chat with her. We got the pepperoni pizza with their garlic white sauce to go. They gave us plates, napkins, peppers and Parmesan cheese. The drive up to Fort Jones had the car smelling sooo good! When we reached our place we couldn't wait to dive into the pizza, which was delicious. Glad we checked then out now we know where to go when we are in the area again. They have a cute place with comfy chairs and would be a nice place to eat in as well. read more

Fresh greens tossed with smoked chicken (which adds a whole level of flavor), fresh oranges, cashews, red onion and this amazing light dressing they didn't glob it on either, lightly tossed so perfect. The Margarita pizza had the most delicious tomatoes and might quite possibly be the best margarita pizza I've ever had. Truly to die for! Delicious! I was in desperate need of food on our road trip. I was directed to the Smoked Tomato Pie from another restaurant that was closing. What a treasure. I had the smoked chicken salad! Pizza was good, nothing exceptional. I liked the smoked tomato topping. The 2 smoked chicken plates we got were terrible. Chicken was so dry it was hard to eat without gulping down lots of water. The sides were not good - roll was on the harder side (as in stale), slaw had an overload of vinegar and potato salad was cold and chewy, again drenched with vinegar. The bbq sauce was also vinegar based. When we asked about it, the lady said it was a German style of cooking and that was that. No offer to sub it with a different side. If the chicken had been good, we could have overlooked the sides, but the entire platter was highly unsatisfactory and not worth the money. Also, the staff was rather unfriendly. We walked in for lunch during a road trip. As we stood browsing the menu, there were two employees working behind the counter hardly two yards away. They did not bother to greet or acknowledge us. We lingered for 5-10 minutes, getting a break from the heat outside. Obviously, these people were not interested in our business. Just as we started walking to the door, an older lady came from the back and welcomed us in and started chatting. After the food experience, we wished we had just walked out and found another place.
