Pizza--Great flavor, but under-cooked. Sad part is, when I ordered over the phone I asked for well-done, crispy crust. (Twice). Not only was it not crispy, it was undercooked. I had to put it in the oven. Their cheesy garlic bread was a loaf of sourdough sandwiched together with cheese--also under-cooked. Couldn't separate the halves, had to smash it, finish cooking it and eat the slices together. :-( Bummer. read more

Wow - what a gem!!!! (Pun intended with the mining history of Yreka) STP is probably one of the best pizza joints I've eaten at in a long time. The staff were amazing and super friendly. Greeted quickly and warmly as soon as we walked in. Pizzas came out lightning fast and we're amazing. Crust and toppings fresh as can be. I had "The Marge" and it was so good. It had smoked tomatoes on top that were incredible - the smoke brings out the sweetness. I got the PPP pizza and was so good that I had to go back a second day and get another pizza. The employees are so cool and the first time I went in it wasn't Too busy and I got to sample some beer from the taps I will definitely be going back when I'm in town again they need to bottle the PPP's pizza sauce so I can have it at home read more

We had the smoked chicken salad too which was local fresh ingredients and had a wonderful sesame and garlic balance. While driving through Yreka, we found this pizza restaurant. They just opened and it was fun hearing their expansion plans to add a wine bar and have more live music. I ordered the fresh roasted veggie pizza and my husband ordered the sausage and mushroom pizza. The pies arrive in good time and piping hot, delicious and just what we wanted. Veggies were perfect. We had the PPP... Maybe the best pie we've ever ate! The staff were full of smiles and engaged in friendly conversation. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The menu is very affordable and they have daily specials to ask about if you call your order in. Last but not least, they serve fresh graded parmesan cheese and red peppers... haven't seen fresh ingredients like this in a long time. Staying in town overnight and this looked like the best option for quick and easy but not fast food. Turned out to be a pretty good decision. The crust is on the thinner side, but it's pretty good. Not sure what it was, but between the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, the pizza and a bright freshness that really makes it stand above offerings from large chains. My only gripe is they have a decided lack of options when it comes to appetizers. For a place that also does BBQ you'd think wings would be a good fit. All in all, probably one of your best options in the area. read more

Definitely recommend this place! We stopped here on our way driving from Seattle to Phoenix. The food was fresh and tasty! We ordered salads and sandwiches since we wanted to keep our stop brief. The service was exceptional as well. They were super friendly when we placed our pickup order on the phone. When we arrived, they saw our dogs in the car and offered them each a "pup cup" of smoked chicken (which of course they loved). A winner for the whole family.
