The newspaper keeps putting out these $10 off when you spend $20 coupons. I save them every time I see them and finally used one last night. It was pretty good. I don't know if I'd give four stars if I didn't have that generous coupon. I had the you pick two meats for $14.99. I had pulled pork and sliced turkey-both pretty good. The side of fire roasted corn was good and the dirty rice was ok. My wife got the veggie burger and said it was good. It looked like the typical frozen patty you buy at the store though. They stacked it two high since the patties aren't that big so we both thought that was a nice touch. We stopped in for lunch yesterday for the first time. Our waitress Kania was super friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious! I had the 1/3 baby back ribs meal with salad and baked potato, and hubby had the double BLT with French fries and a side of sausage. Everything was delicious. Ok. First. I KNEW we should have turned around before we ever entered the 2nd door. There was a German cockroach in-between the entrance doors. It was pouring out and the husband didn't wanna have to get back in and out so we came on in. This was a Thursday night, we were both wanting prime rib, t We were told it's only avail on the weekend. So we went with the Hawaiian prime rib(flavoring for a prime rib just RUINED the taste, highly disappointed with the marinated sauce). The baked potatoes were ok nothing special, salad was just eh. The sampler appetizer was also eh. Nothing really stood out. The ticket for 1 appetizer, 1 kid Mac n chess, 1 steak and 2 prime ribs was over $120 drinks was soda no alcohol. (Outback has better flavored meat and salads and the bloomin onion. And walked out at $70 for the same items.) it your cost conscious, just avoid Smokey Bones. Also, they were ripping down ceiling tiles while customers were eating just a row over(being us and another couple), and has buckets under leak spots. High class price for Low standard meal. I would not reccomend. The food makes a pretty picture though. read more

I went there with my family. We had only been there once several years ago befit the renovation. It was on a late Sunday afternoons so the place was not too busy. I got the Creat your meal 2 meat platter: beef brisket and 1/4 chicken Platter and sides of grilled corn and baker potatoes. The meats were good juicy and BBQ sauces were good. My wife got the grilled chicken tacos and she said they were ok. Son got the 2 meats combo: beef brisket and wings and he loved his plate. My daughter just had the nachos and where ok. Disappointing! My boys and I went to check them out with the remodel. I got wings. I asked for smoked with bbq but they said they can't do that. I am not sure why but ok. I got traditional. They were almost burned and not huge like advertised. The beer is way overpriced! Both my boys got burgers. One was overdone but they brought a new one. Overall it was okay. I called and placed a take out order at 10:45 pm for a guy I'm seeing that works overnight in the hospital ER. I figured he was slammed so I'd bring him some dinner. I ordered wings and a soda. I got there and waited a few minutes. The waitress didn't seem to know how to run the POS system and had to ask two others to help her. After paying and waiting a few more minutes, I got my order (had to ask for the soda) and left. I dropped off the food with him at the hospital and was almost home when he called to tell me what he got was a burger. I turned around, picked up the food from him and went back to the restaurant. They apologized and told me I could also keep the burger, which I had no need for and didn't want, and, after a few more minutes of waiting, finally gave me the food. No offer of a refund or even a discount for having to make two trips and spend 45 minutes correcting their mistake while my guy waited for food and missed his break in a busy ER. This was my first, and most likely last, experience with Smokey Bones. read more

I used to come here all the time but my kids didn't like it so have stayed away for a couple years. We went on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. I had the nachos 2/5 that needed more toppings. They used to be better. My daughter had the skillet Mac and cheese with chicken tenders and said it was very good 4/5, but needed more cheese. The chicken tenders were good 3/5, not spectacular. The garlic parmesan and spicy garlic buffalo sauce were amazing 5/5. The service was excellent as our food was ready in 5-7 minutes. The burgers and onion rings served to our neighbors looked delicious. I will try that next. read more

The fact that this place is mostly empty on a Saturday night should have warned me. We ordered 2 basic dishes, straight off the menu. The only modifications were "no bun" and "broccoli instead of fries". Half an hour later, they bring out the dish.. with fries. They then take both dishes back and just move the fries to the other plate, which also was not supposed to have fries. So they took that back, and we realized that the "avocado Turkey burger without a bun" was missing the actual avocado. 30 minutes, 3 fuckups. Best rib-kinda-joint in Chatt there is. Everything I've had has been great. Ribs, brisket, bbq, sauces, and especially the cole slaw and baked beans. Well hell, now I'm hungry. Happy hour from 4-6pm and 9pm+ I believe. Includes all appetizers half-off. Not sure if Fri-Sun are included on the 4-6 timeframe. We visited around 8 PM and we were seated right away which was nice. The hostess was plant and helpful although she did linger around our table while our waiter was taking to us, rude. This location has some excellent BBQ. Plenty of parking is available in site. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and they stay open quite late. The smoked wings are excellent (hopefully they'll allow the wings to be tossed in sauce before being grilled in the future - why they stopped this practice j don't know). Entrees are filling, and you're likely to have some leftovers. The brown sugar rub on either cut of the ribs is spectacular. The food here is usually well prepared, and fall-off-the-bone tender. As with other local BBQ restaurants, the sauce variety will keep your whole party happy. There are several yummy options for sides as well, though the meats are the chain's strong suit. Fair warning- parties of more than four adults (or four adults plus kids especially) may find seating challenging. The kids' menu has plenty of options and is also entertaining. read more

We are here at smokey bones and we are being argued with over a raw hamburger they are saying is medium rare, this is after when we first got our drinks that were in dirty cups with meat floating in them and our dirty silverware that still smelled like meat. Everything I've eaten at Smokey Bones has been excellent. You can't beat 7.49 for a pulled pork potato and a salad. The 1.95 PBR certainly helps as well. You have to go weekdays at lunch because Beth is the best bartender I've ever had. I've eaten here at lunch and had Jan for a server and she is amazing as well. You won't regret coming here. For a chain BBQ joint, this place is fantastic. Also, they have 2.75 domestic drafts! You can't beat it. PS: Try the baby back ribs, they're fantastic! read more

I would have given them 5 stars but the waitress decided she wanted to take an extra tip off my card in addition to the 26% tip I gave her. Kids and I went to lunch and had a great time. Let me start my saying I live in Los Angeles and I wanted to send my father a meal but their systems were down online so I had to call in and place and order and was hoping to pay on the phone. Needless to say; I wasn't able to pay on the phone. However the manager, Brady Cashwell, tried to accommodate us the best she could.
