This is absolutely one of our favorite spots. We dropped in for lunch. We were immediately greeted and seated right away. The waitress was fantastic and stayed on top of our order. Yep, I'm going to start with the donuts first. You read that right!!! While it was our dessert we absolutely love the warm donuts and dipping sauce. You won't regret having that treat when you are done with your meal. This trip, I went with the Salmon and Sweet Potato fries. The salmon was cooked just right with a light crisp around the edges. I hit barbecue joints strictly for two reasons: a slab of ribs or beef brisket. Must confess I've hit Smokey Bones in 3, maybe 4 states and the ribs are so fantastic I have yet to sample the brisket! IMO their St. Louis ribs are the best of both worlds: blend of delicious dry rub yet wonderfully wet with a sauce that's not too sweet or vinegary. Don't know what they use but the spicing of the rub is heavenly. Even better, pick up one rib and meat is guaranteed to fall off the bone. In every location the staff is friendly and helpful and I can tell the service isn't spotty because there are always regulars at the bar. I do a lot of driving for work and SB is a standard I can count on no matter where. If you can't tell I highly recommend. Bon apetit! read more

The food is always great. But I just can't give a five star rating when ordering their food through door dash, is an awful experience. No where on the door dash website, can you request BBQ sauce, or even specific BBQ sauce. When you eat there, they have sweet, spicy, etc. So, several times lately I've spent good money to have a meal delivered, and theirs no bbq sauce or even butter for my baked potato. One night, after ordering my meal, I decided I'd have to call the restaurant and ask them to put some sweet bbq and butter in the bag. The manager said they would and they did, but then they failed to send my coke. Also, when you try and order a 2- combo dinner ( 2-meats), you can order 2 of same meat. Tried this place on a date night. Saturday, 10p. The parking lot was practically empty, only a few cars so we were skeptical. Um, it's not necessary to clear tables when you're only using 1/4th of the restaurant and that's not even full! Foodwise, it was okay. Not great, nothing spectacular and nothing to go back for. I had the baby back ribs and smoked chicken legs. My husband had the loaded BBQ burger. Neither of us were impressed. The fried pickles were okay at first, but quickly became overly salty and un-enjoyable. We had donuts to go as a dessert- again, just okay - donuts aren't spectacular and the sauces taste jarred at best. Where this place shines... the drinks! Came in here for date night late one Friday. We had never tried it before and were both happy with our choice! The highlights: - The food menu is so big and there are a lot of choices. Talk about mouth watering! - The BBQ burger was great - My boyfriend was so impressed with his baby back ribs and how easily the meat came off - Great and affordable drink specials! The margarita was DELICIOUS! It didn't have that overwhelming taste like some have - Friendly and fast service. Our server was very attentive! The main downfall is that my food was wrong at first. I am no longer giving any tip with these orders because they don't give a crap. Work ethic for either the restaurant or the deliverers is no longer a thing. We DoorDashed two items from here and what a disappointment we got. My husband got a pulled pork sammy with creamy coleslaw for the side and I got the appetizer fried green tomatoes to eat as a meal. When our order arrived and we opened the containers, the portion sizes were so small that we both laughed out loud. $10.49 for a pulled pork sammy on a bun probably the same size as a generic store brand hamburger bun. It contained so little pulled pork that my husband had to pull off the top part of the bun just to make sure there was actually pork on it. He said the coleslaw wasn't bad but different (in an odd way) from slaw at most places offering creamy coleslaw. The worst part of the order was my fried green tomatoes. $10.69 for FIVE small slices of tomatoes and a small cup of dipping sauce. The slices put together maybe would have been the equivalent of one unsliced tomato. Had they been exceptionally good, I might not have been so disappointed but they weren't and I think they were even very likely a premade frozen product the restaurant purchases. What an absolute ripoff. Another one bites the dust. We will not be ordering from here again.
