    Best Butts in Town!
    Ronald H.

If you're anywhere near Easley, SC and craving true Southern BBQ, The Smokin Pig is a must-stop spot. Known for having "the best butts in town," this place lives up to the hype with tender, smoky, and flavorful meats that hit the spot every time. The rustic, welcoming decor sets the tone the moment you walk in -- it's casual, comfortable, and filled with the mouthwatering aroma of slow-smoked barbecue. The staff are warm and attentive, creating a true Southern hospitality experience. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich, which was perfectly moist and rich with that signature smoky flavor, baked beans and the sweet potato crunch. If you're looking for authentic BBQ done right, The Smokin Pig in Easley delivers in every way.

My chopped pork sandwich and my dad got a chopped pork plate.

Excellent bbq some of the best fried okra that I have had in a long. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. The ambiance is nice a what you would think of a bbq joint.

    Brisket, potato salad, okra.

Very good potato salad! Okra was soft but flavorful, brisket was kinda dry but delicious with their homemade sauces. You get free pork rinds when you eat inn. Service was good. Overall probably won't be coming back due to the prices. One person $27 bucks! I should have had some left over for that price.

Just did not live up to our expectations. Didn't help that our server was not having a good shift…read more The place is nice, clean, and welcoming, but the food was ehh. We came from Clemson to attend a play in Pelzer and decided to have lunch here first. It is not a destination restaurant. The menu is very chicken heavy. Started with 8 smoked wings as an appetizer, bbq sauced with a side of hot sauce. Received 4 bbq wings and 4 hot wings. Now the wings were smoked nice and very good. Both ordered half-and-half tea. I received unsweetened. They had meatloaf as a Sunday special. I got it, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, and a side salad. The side salad was really nice and worth ordering. The cornbread was jalapeño cornbread, but not described that way on the menu. The mashed potatoes and gravy should not be ordered. Period. They were both reconstituted, fake and a tiny portion. The meatloaf was a good size portion, but tasted like a seasoned hamburger. Thankfully the bbq sauce on the table saved it. Her chicken salad sandwich was good and a nice size portion, but again it was different than described on the menu. She said it tasted like smoked chicken. The banana pudding was very unremarkable but looked nice. We might give it another try if we're in the area and hungry, but it's not in the "let's remember this place" list.
