I have been to Smoothie King countless times over the years. At various locations. This was my first time stopping by this location in South Scottsdale. Located in a small shopping center, I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Ambiance (3/5): It's a smoothie joint so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. From being there for a few minutes, everything was fine. The establishment was clean. No complaints. Service (4/5): You place your order at the counter and they call your name when your drink is ready. They made my smoothie quickly. A job well done. Food (N/A): They have some snacks, but I grabbed a smoothie and that's it. Drinks (4/5): My go-to order whenever I go to Smoothie King is the Caribbean Way. A little tropical flavor. Try it and thank me later. While Smoothie King is a chain, I like their smoothies. Their largest size is pretty huge, too. read more

I had the Coffee High Protein Almond Mocha and loved it! I got my coffee and protein fix all in one. I recommend all of their strawberry flavored shakes as well. The store is also very clean and the service is friendly. Hands down this is one of the best smoothie places in Phoenix. read more

We love Frost, the Gelato is always delicious but we went today and the staff was not friendly, not acknowledging we were standing there and were too busy talking to eachother. The women's restroom was out of order and the mens restroom was a disgusting mess and the soap was out, the garbage overflowing, the floor was a mess and the toilet paper (to use roll) was sitting on the trash can. read more

Disappointed they stopped putting real dates in my smoothie and are using date "powder". Disgusting. Especially mad as I have been adding extra dates to my smoothies paying extra for this powder. Don't leave many reviews, but the service at this location is always exceptional! Passed by here a million times and never went cause I assumed it was some crappy Jamba Juice like chain. Boy was I wrong, tons of amazing smoothies. Lots of protein smoothies with coconut water, almond milk, or oat milk bases. Sweetened with dates and no added sugar which is even better! Tons of healthy add in options as well. I'm Awarding 4 out of 5 stars because they have a limited non sugar selection. The service taste and selection were excellent. There are only 3 selections there that have no added sugar and no sugar at all and they were both keto coffee keto chocolate flavors. But the ingredients are laid out on the menu on the brochure. Love this Smoothie King! They are pleasant and knock drinks out in record time. Corner location is a bit difficult to get in and out of during certain times of the day, but once my smoothie is in hand nothing else really matters and even traffic is more bearable. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. I will probably never come back to this location because of your employee. I was ordering my smoothie, I'm hard of hearing to note, plus the loud noises the blenders are making. I asked what 4x because I simply couldn't hear and he rolled his eyes at me so hard I felt so uncomfortable he was throwing his gloves all over the place. The Management/franchise owners are really missing the mark here...always crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings with one or two employees busting their humps trying to accommodate all the guests. I meet a running group Saturday mornings at the church across the street from this Smoothie King and I audibly gasped several months ago when I saw it had opened. Funny thing is I didn't stop in until today. I'm not sure how long ago the location in Old Town closed, but I used to love it and frequented it. I was sad when it went bye-bye. This location is just like I remembered. There's several smoothies that I like and there's a ton of variety. Some of my favorites include Angel Food, Peach Slice Plus & Power Punch. I actually got something new today. I forget what it was called, but it was simply the one where you pick a fruit (I went with mango), nonfat yogurt, vanilla, and like one or two other things. Luckily it wasn't very crowded when I popped in. Like someone else mentioned, there's only two employees working at a time and I can see where things can get backed up if it's busy. My man mentioned I wasn't feeling well and that we were hoping the smoothie he ran in to grab me would help me get to feeling better, she she recommended he also take me a "party aid" drink that they sell there.
