My adorable date for our front row experience
    Krystle M.

Love love love this adorable spot! Kelly (our server) was awesome. Visited last night with my date, no reservation but scored a front row seat for a very entertaining evening. The openers were great, and did their best to calm a rowdy birthday group who wouldn't stop heckling when they were literally warned not to at the beginning (Amy Schumer warning is a nice touch). The featured act was a famous guy who was the dad from the show That's So Raven! We had no idea who was performing so we really lucked out. The Brussels sprouts were bomb ass and the fries were good. He liked the tuna sushi roll and I happily enjoyed the Woodbridge cab. Look forward to going back!!

This evening was meant as a birthday gift to my dear Queen Bee. I wound up getting the "VIP" tickets for $75 each. For that little price one gets dinner, show tickets and two drinks...Like nearly any other comedy club, seating is a bit tight in there. We had our own little "booth," which is really half a banquette so no one seats with back to stage. We were given choice of booth or table by the host. Beyond the comedy club itself is another dining area, bar PLUS an outdoor bar and dining area. As a result, the food here is supposed to be pretty decent. That, as it turned out, was a funnier line than the warm up comedian ever could HOPE to deliver...Our dear waitress Caitlin freely told us they she and the rest of the girls working there order their food regularly. So with that, Queen Bee chose Parmesan crusted red snapper entree and I the bourbon steak bites. As stated earlier, we got two drinks with dinner also. She had her usual Cabernet and I one of my fave cocktails for the ages: Jameson and ginger ale!!! Woodbridge appears to be the house wine, so I suppose there's little to complain about there; very pedestrian stuff. My cocktail had a bit of a kick...not too watery but not overly stiff either. Comedy show featured a Greek American comedian named "Basile." As a fellow Greek American, I thought that would be a nice evening to share with the Birthday Bee. I was actually turned onto this show by Dia, the head waitress (and fellow Greek American) from The Corner Skillet in Largo. She was at the show also, as it turns out... As for the food itself: that crap bombed worse than Big Boy on Hiroshima. QB's fish came out cold, along with the overcooked broccoli; she sent it back. A few minutes later out it comes again: just microwaved. She only had three bites of the snapper...that was the only part of it fully cooked. The center of the filet was closer to RAW! I told her to send it back again. She just left two thirds of it uneaten and said nothing. When the waitress (Caitlin) asked whether she didn't like it, my wife said "NO" but that was it. NO attempt was made to follow up or make things right. What SHITTY service is that?! This after waiting 45 minutes for entrees to arrive in the FIRST place! My steak bites were sufficiently cooked and warm. Only problem, you ask? No flavor whatsoever; where was the salt, pepper, garlic, soy or teriyaki flavoring? If it was anywhere, it sure as CRAP wasn't in the meat. Broccoli again was overcooked and under flavored. Rice was basically straight from Uncle Ben's long lost cousin from south of the border: Tio Pancho of Taco Bell fame??? Only two toilets (one each for men and women) led to very long lines. Cheap, raggedy banquette seat literally popped up when I moved out to let missus go potty and wait ten minutes just to get in. So $75 didn't get a whole helluva lot. Then when they add in tax and built-in 20% gratuity plus a couple of extra drinks, guess what? $69 MORE onto the bottom line! Only gratuity I had was not getting salmonella from raw snapper or mad cow disease from sad steak. I surely didn't share the gratitude nor the love with dear do nothing waitress Caitlin. She didn't deserve the built in gratuity never mind anything over and above. She and the establishment by whom she is employed did under and below, if anything. Quite honestly, if U like comedy shows, then perhaps this joint may be for you. If you like comedies of errors, then perhaps you should order dinner with your show and see who laughs last, because it sure as HELL wasn't me! Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's before you get here: at least that way you really WILL get what you're paying for.

    Our drinks and the stage

My cousin was visiting from DC so I decided we would try this comedy club. It had dinner and a show for $75 per person. We got here early and ordered a couple of drinks from the bar as we waited to be seated for dinner. Here are our drinks and the stage. Since I bought VIP tickets we get 2 drinks and one entree. Looking at the menu we both decided to forgo the sushi. Just does not seem to be the spot for sushi. We ordered fried green tomatoes as our appetizer. My cousin ordered the Italian sausage with onion, mushrooms, and peppers. I ordered the fish and chips. The tomatoes were fried in cornmeal. They tasted good light and came with a sour cream with lemon sauce. I recommend them. Must keep in mind that the VIP tickets include 2 drinks. This could become an issue later. Our entrees arrived as can be seen in the picture. The fish and chips were good. The fishy was flaky though the fries were nothing to rave about. I got malt vinegar, salsa, and tartar sauce for dipping. The show started and let me tell you both comedians were so funny. The crowd was great because there were no hecklers and they were participating. The food was okay but the show was great. So 3 stars for the food and 4 stars for the show.

I went for a comedy show. The comedians were awesome and had a good time. The mixed drinks have almost no alcohol in them and you can't even taste any. For the price you pay for a mixed drink you should be able to tell if there is alcohol. That is why the 3 stars. $14 for a mixed drink is outrageous. Staff were fast and friendly.

I run meeting mamas of Pinellas and we chose snappers for our month of July outing and we were not disappointed ! We attended on a Tuesday for $3.50 margs and $1.50 tacos and karaoke ! The staff was amazing and accommodating, our waitress did such a great job handling our large group which usually ranges from 20-30 people ! The food was delicious and the karaoke was a lot of fun ! They ended up giving us free range of the patio which was nice because I never call ahead and they were able to accommodate our large group ! We will for sure be returning !

Very very mediocre place. We came for a comedy show and it's a great idea to be able to eat when watching a comedy. We had a big group, so ordered many different things and some were ok, and some weren't good at all. They offer everything from fries to sushi. Based on how clean the place was, I didn't want to risk ordering raw fish. But we did get a ahi tuna salad. Tuna was surprisingly good but salad was horrible, I am a salad person, and it felt like they put ahi tuna on McDonald's salad. Mussels entry was ok but I am not joking, more than 50% of mussels were not open. How can you serve unopened mussels. It's usually 1 or 2 but not half. If you going to eat while watching a comedy, just order some fries, and other cheap food, everything that was a little bit gourmet wasn't good at all. Restrooms were dirty, they smelled bad. The whole place is just not very nice. Just watch a comedy and leave, have a simple drink with simple food.

We had a wonderful time at Snappers last Friday night. I hadn't been to the comedy club in years it was just a great time! The service was great lots of menu options! The comedians were great the headliner was phenomenal. We are definitely going back in a few weeks what a great entertainment value right here in Palm Harbor!

This place is a staple hotspot for me when I come to town! You would never know that this place has fantastic rolls but alas, I have yet to find a better sushi spot in the area. What I love about Snapper's Grill is not having that foofy snotty atmosphere when I just want to nosh on some sushi, listen to music and enjoy some drinks. I've come with several different family members and friends and it never disappoints. The only thing I can say that I don't like is the cigarette smoke but that might be one of the things some people (who smoke) like about it - so who am I to judge. It works for them. The wings are good too, and I've even had the fish tacos, and BLT in the past but so far my favorites are the Monster Roll, and Red Dragon Roll. They are a must! Today we had excellent service as well or should I say - as per usual! :) Enjoy!

Predatory worker compensation structure - Be aware…read more We recently dined here and noticed the tabletop signs explaining a mandatory 20% "commission" added to every single bill. When speaking with our server, she informed us that management classifies the waitstaff as 1099 independent contractors, meaning they receive a $0 hourly base rate from the restaurant and rely entirely on this mandatory guest fee for their paycheck.I have a physical copy of the check showing this automatic fee. While the sign claims this "supports our team," classifying standard restaurant servers as 1099 workers instead of W-2 employees is a massive red flag that contradicts federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. Independent contractors set their own hours and operations; servers do not. Furthermore, a restaurant cannot legally leave a server's direct hourly base wage at zero by relying entirely on automatic service fees.We love supporting local staff, but we want our money going to businesses that respect basic labor laws and compensate their employees legally. Hopefully, public pressure will force management to fix their payroll structure. The server said the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to make changes. Sadly they chose to break the law. On that note the service was lovely, the food very tasty. I asked to sub corn for flour tortias and she was able. We don't directly live in the area, and its been a while since we've been here. Its always good, with good portions and not a chain. Its so unfortunate.

A lot of the restaurants are closed for lunch though, which is how we ended up here. It's a lot larger than it looks. There's a really cute covered outdoors area in the back with a stage for performances. There were only a few diners there for lunch on a Friday so it was easy to grab a spot. I got a skinny strawberry margarita, it made me happy to see a skinny version of a flavored margarita on the menu. It has a sugar rim and was delicious. It's on the sweet side and I'd definitely get it again. I requested it without soda water. For my main I got the salmon bowl. I wouldn't get this again, but it's because the base is mainly fried wontons. I thought it would be a scattering of fried wontons but nope, it was a hefty portion. I didn't eat most of the fried wontons because I'm trying to be healthy. It's a delicious dish, just not for me. Service was great, but we were an easy table because we were chatting the entire time. I enjoyed our meal here, so we will definitely be back!
