I'm a regular at this snappy salad probably coming here once or twice a week. It's a simple concept of a salad bar but with so many options. You can create your own salad or you can choose a signature salad that has already been crafted. The salads come in three different sizes. You can choose from mini, half or a full size. I normally get the half size because it's normally more than enough but the price difference between the half and the full is about $2 or so. So you can always have dinner or lunch for the next day. I love thief lemon cookies for a dessert. It's so good! I never go and not grab one. It's one of my favorite things about this place. Snappy Salads is a great fresh choice for a meal. I feel safe with the staff practicing safe protocols and encouraging social distance inside the area. This place does salads right. I mean, seriously. From the initial vibe of the place when you walk in (mood lighting, long wooden communal tables, music with a beat you can feel through your shoes) it just feels like a fun place to eat a salad. I love the way they set up their bar, too--the bowls of fresh veggies and other toppings are on full display for you, so you can see and point to exactly what you want. Also, every employee was crazy friendly. Big smiles, very helpful, they genuinely seemed like they liked working there. On the recommendation of a friend who had visited before I ordered the Half Snap Grilled Avocado salad, and it was DELICIOUS. It basically tasted like a giant burrito bowl, but with more lettuce. It had mixed greens, beans and corn, grilled avocado, grilled tomatoes, queso fresco, and some creamy dressing that really brought it all together. It was a GIANT salad. I mean, crazy huge. Definitely worth $10. My friend got the Full Snap for $3 more and she took half of it home for lunch the next day. She basically got two salads for $13. You get to watch them make the whole salad, it's a pretty smooth system. At the register I ordered the Daily Bread, which is a hunk of delicious, crusty bread served warm for only $0.69. Great addition to the salad. I gotta say, my only complaint about this place is their slogan. "So Good, Even Guys Like Our Salads". Come on now, it's the 21st century, why are we gendering food? For many years, this spot has been my go-to for a great salad. Each time I go now there's a new twist to reduce the amount of food provided but keep the price. We always order a create your own half snap. Understand with COVID that we have to use to go containers but we've gone from 8 to 6 toppings and now the container appears considerably smaller than its rectangular predecessor. But this cheap piece of Sunbeam white bread (yes, from the yellow package) that you smacked some butter, haphazardly threw on a skillet and then had the nerve to bill as "italian bread" is just... wrong. Decided to check this place out based on other yelp reviews. The menu was kind of overwhelming at first but the the staff was very friendly. Ended up with the half order of the grilled avocado salad with shrimp and blue cheese vinaigrette. It was really delicious. Definitely makes it worth the stop for a salad. There's also wraps and baked potatoes available too. I will caution that my meal (a drink and the salad) was $15, but the half portion of the salad was freakin huge and easily makes two meals. The food tastes great. They were out of iced tea when I went to the drink station, but they quickly brewed a fresh batch for me. Also a cool note: they use paper straws instead of plastic as an environmentally friendly movement and they're just as good if not better. read more

I think its a little pricey at $11.00 for my create your own salad with buffalo chicken, but man do i crave it! If you hit this venue at the perfect time typically it will be a very short wait. However, if you're behind someone who is ordering for him and his 3 coworkers it may be awhile. The meat is made pretty fresh other than the buffalo chicken which is frozen and then fried. The striker sauce they put on top, however, is TO DIE FOR. I find that you get more salad when you dine in opposed to taking it to go but usually I am on the run. There is one gentleman, I believe his name is Jorge- who always remembers my order and gives me some extra dressing to top it off. He is what brings me back again and again. This is legitimately the best salad I have EVER had. The half grilled avocado salad with the mini protein - half mesquite grilled chicken and half spicy sirloin. This is a VERY generous serving, and everything was super fresh - I was very pleased! Shout out to management (I think his name was Austin!) for giving all the Snappy Salad newbies a run down of the menu and making sure our food was great! I go to this place a lot, at least once a week, and have been for the past 8 months or so. I mainly go because my fiancé loves this place, and due to her eating restrictions it's one of her go to choices. And honestly, the food is pretty good. The customer service and employees are TERRIBLE. I often have to repeat parts of my order many, many times to different people along the order line. Tonight I had to request the crispy chicken to be made FOUR TIMES before anyone actually did it, and another customer behind me who also had fried toppings and a more complex salad somehow was able to pay long before me. It was a 15 minutes from start of order to paying, and would have been even longer had I not spoken up for them to start the chicken. To top it off, the employees had the nerve to talk about me under their breath WITH ME RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM because I apparently had the nerve to correct how they're making my order - for about the 6th time. Tonight was worse then most times, but I always have to watch my order closely otherwise they will screw it up without fail. They don't listen, they are slow, and the quality of employees has been steadily declining. Like I said, tasty food but this place needs serious management help. read more

I've been to Snappy Salads three or four times, and enjoyed it, but my experience there last night was terrible. With that in mind, three stars seems fair. The daily special yesterday was a salmon caesar salad, and after glancing at the ingredients, I ordered it. Watching them make the salad, I realized I had made a mistake. It had salmon, egg, olives, artichoke, and parmesan. Seems like too many flavors that don't go together, but I wasn't paying enough attention when I looked at the menu. My bad. My disappointment got even worse when I saw the ingredients themselves. The olives looked like the low-quality ones you'd get at a discount supermarket, and rather than pieces of salmon, it was tiny flecks that looked to be straight out of a can. I asked for very little dressing, but the employee doused the whole salad, even smacking the bottom of the bottle as I said, "Please, not so much." When I got to the cash register, I didn't want the salad. Kind of a crappy move, I know, but it just looked really unappealing. I said, "I'm so sorry, but I don't want this salad. It's not what I was expecting. I will pay for it though." Take a guess as to the employee's response. Was it: A) No problem, we'll get you another salad. Do you see something else on the menu that you want to try? B) No worries, you don't have to pay for it. C) Can you tell me please what you don't like about this salad? Is there something wrong with any of the ingredients? D) That's $10.87. The correct answer is D. I paid my money, she threw away my untouched salad, and I left. I realize that Snappy Salads doesn't owe me anything just because I didn't like what I ordered. But Wow. Any profit they made from my order, they lost many times over in good will and return business. read more

Jamie and I tried this place for the first time tonight, and we will never go back. Here's why: 1. Long lines due to slow, inefficient service-process 2. We made our order when we got to the counter, and 10 minutes later, we got to the cashier. 3. We told the cashier what we ordered, and she discovered that none of it had been prepared. There were plenty of clues during our 10 minute wait between ordering and getting to the cashier, like communications about dressings, etc. with several customers behind us in line. During this process, nobody asked us what we ordered, but there was some flirting with one of the line ladies and a guy behind us, which did little to improve our experience. 4. I ordered poblano soup, which was pretty good, when I finally got it. The menu board also included warm chunks of sourdough to go with the soup, but alas, they had no bread, per the cashier. 5. Jamie ordered warm shrimp chili veggie salad, which took another 10 minutes to make, once the cashier discovered that nobody made our order while we were waiting in line. It was pretty good too, once we got it, other than being overly dressed with sweet warm brown dressing. Perhaps your experience at this location of Snappy Salads will be better than ours. I don't think you can go wrong with any salad. It's pretty delicious! The veggies and meats taste fresh and they will grill avocado for you... yes please! In my last two visits I wanted to make my own salad, yet the line is so rushed by the employees it doesn't give you enough time to get what you really want. So I always end up choosing a random salad from the menu. The location is great, and I really enjoy the sitting arrangement. Somehow they managed to add a small patio, kinda cool. This was only my second time here, but I really do love this place. While the prices are a little bit expensive for a meal, the half salad and a beverage is all you really need to feel satiated and even full. Unless you're looking to ravage a forest, the half will serve you well. I really like the freshness of the ingredients here. Both the cobb salad I had recently and the salad with tuna I had my first trip were very delicious and fresh. My cobb salad included chicken, bacon, avocado (half of one!), gorgonzola cheese, onion, iceberg and another type of lettuce (that I didn't catch), with their Cobb dressing. I'm not usually a fan of eggs on my food, but I hardly even noticed since they were cooked so tenderly! The atmosphere is pretty chill with a ton of space for probably about 40 people to sit comfortably inside. They also have a cute little outside space with four or five picnic tables for when the weather is nice. I will definitely be back here! read more

I must say this is the best salad place I have ever been to. We had one similar in Austin called Leaf. But Leaf seemed to be a little more pricey. Snappy salads has endless options, I have never seen such a large spread for salad toppings! Their salads they have listed for options are so creative! I was pretty overwhelmed and I kept letting other people jump in front of me so I finally just got in line and asked the girl in front of me what she got, and it was the grilled avocado!! I added chicken and egg (because I love egg and I am very particular with chicken so I wanted to see how theirs was) and it was so good!!! I have gone for multiple trips and this is my favorite go-to-salad! The dining area is fun because it's not individual tables so you don't feel so awkward eating alone if you are. The dressing was so fresh and cold! One thing I appreciated was when they mix your salad, they rest it on ice and spin it so it keeps it really cold! My biggest pet peeve is when salads get warm from adding toppings ect...theirs stayed nice and cold! You end out of the bowl they mix it with or they will put it in a to-go container for you! I love Snappy Salads, they are fresh and offer a wonderful customizable selection. However, the past couple of experiences at the Greenville location have not been the best. I go to Snappys a lot, I have the app and it has come in handy throughout the years. However, with the Greenville location I find myself having to remind the staff of the things I ordered. The last physical visit we had we needed to remind them to grab the salad dressing because we requested it on the side. The last straw was today when I ordered delivery and my mom had no salad dressing and no mushrooms on her custom salad, a dry salad. In my opinion the dressing makes the salad. And I ordered a by the menu Cobb Salad with dressing on the side, and there was no salad dressing, the lettuce was completely different chock full of purple cabbage which I hate (the typical cobb usually uses iceburg, zero iceburg was in there), and no egg (which I love). 1 out of 3 salads had dressing. And my by the book Cobb Salad was not what I ordered. I love Snappys, but the Greenville location is not the best experience for them. read more

Horrible customer service. We came in and walked to the line both employees stared at us and kept working. On was sweeping and the other one was on the register. After waiting a minute we asked if we could order and the woman sweeping turned around and said that the other woman will get us. The other woman just looked at us and continued to do whatever she was doing. Nobody acknowledged us or anything. We said that maybe we should go somewhere else and the woman sweeping turned and said "you can leave". Why hire people that don't take pride in their job.
