This was my first time here. At any Snappy salad actually. My first impression was blah. The lady making my salad Looked miserable. Not a good first impression when trying a new establishment. I ordered the soup and salad. I thought it was reasonable priced. Perfect amount of food for me. The salad had the perfect amount of toppings to lettuce ratio. The Bleu cheese dressing was the best I've ever had. Soup was a bean soup that was very tasty. Dining room was akward with the long tables. All in all had the service been better I would have left happy. Sometimes all it takes is a smile when you are working in the customer service industry. read more

I will never again go to this place nor do I recommend anyone else to waste their money. Tonight it was only two workers a guy and a young lady. The guy was customer friendly but the young lady was horrible. Now to the salad. It's ridiculous that she piled my container with lettuce like she did so I asked her to take some out but I later realized she piled it so hardly anything else could go in. Well she was cleaning the ice out the chiller where the food is kept so all the items wasn't there for us to select from. She literally picked up 1 little piece of egg and put in my container when I asked for more she said it would be 75 cents. Every single item after that was a pinch of onion, a pinch of corn, 2 tiny Broccoli florets and a sprinkle of cheese. When I asked for more cheese she made it clear that it would be another extra 75 cents. They are so skimpy on the toppings that you are literally paying for nothing but lettuce. My husband asked for chicken and it was as if a chicken nugget had been chopped up just 1 and put in the container but yet they charged $3.50. The nonchalant attitude the young lady had and the skimpy toppings for $28 for two salads is ridiculous for nothing but 2 bowls of lettuce basically. Never again will we go here. read more

I love coming to this location to get my usual Grilled avocado. Today, there were a lot of workers, and it seemed like there was not any organization. When I got my salad today, it did not taste the way it normally does. It was very greasy, and it seems that worker forgot to put the yummy vinaigrette. I had a good experience here. Staff was friendly, inside was clean and a nice environment. When I came I ordered half a texas avocado salad with a potato soup and it was delicious! I tried this place for the first time today. I got a chicken wrap and chips to go. I bit into the wrap and I kid you not, this was no different than biting into an onion. I could not believe how many onions were in this thing. I was hungry so I tried another bite. It was just as onion-laden as the first. I tried the chips and they were stale. I couldn't eat any more of the chips or wrap. I threw them away. The one saving grace was the lemon cookie included. I ate it to get rid of the onion taste. It was probably the best cookie I've ever had. Still, I will never be back to this place again. If you ever do get a wrap, I HIGHLY suggest you tell them to hold the onions, otherwise you won't be able to eat it. read more

Wow. Name of establishment is Snappy SALADS. One would think if you are selling salads the. You would have the highest quality of lettuce. 2nd and final visit to this location. Both times the lettuce is brown and old. I brought this up to the young male employee yesterday (11/13/17) and he told me " sir, this lettuce browns fast and it is normal"! Let me ask anyone reading this a question. When you cut FRESH lettuce regardless if it's spring mix, romaine, red leaf, ice burg etc does it immediately turn brown and yellow? NO!!!! The food and service were both subpar. To start we felt very rushed when our salads were being prepared. There was absolutely no line or people behind us so I'm not sure why it seemed like they were in such a hurry to finish our meal. When the dressing was being added I noticed the bottle had a best as by date and the one I chose was "expired" which was a bit off-putting. Another surprise was the price of two half salads and two drinks, $30. Two visits and both bad experiences. First try, ordered and paid for adding meat only to get home and it wasn't put on the salad (and no, they weren't busy -- my friend and I were the only ones in the store). Second visit, asked for "very little dressing" (which the guy repeats out loud) and get a salad swimming in it. Then he huffs when I'm obviously disappointed. Yes, I probably should just get the dressing on the side but other locations seem to comprehend the definition of "very little" (and have much brighter personalities). The salad is good. I just don't like the lady who helped me. She is the older lady there, not the two young gals. She was rude. I asked her for half order to go, you placed the plastic container inside the big bowl and started putting my selections in the container. I would say the names of the ingredients, and she would just stared at me till I pointed at the item. I said, "soy beans, please". She said we don't have soy beans, even I was pointing at it. She said we called that "Edemame". Sorry I forgot the Japanese name for Soy beans, even I am Asian. I guess I am stupid. Anyhow, she said I could pick 8 items but last time, the young girl told me 7. Is there any consistency there? Then after she was done putting everything in, she never put my ingredients and chop, toss and mix them together in the big bowl. I recently discovered Snappy Salads in Frisco on Main Street. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating of special requests to ensure my dining experience was awesome. At first I was a bit surprised at the prices, but once I found out that all salad components were freshly prepared daily by hand, I was a complete fan. Everything was very tasty, and I've been back four times within a two week period. I highly recommend Snappy Salads. I was also pleased to see that the items like drinking cups and straws were environmentally conscious. The "plastic" cups were made from corn and the straws were made from hard, biodegradable paper. I wasn't really greeted and the girl that made my salad didn't smile once or seem like she wanted to help. It was almost like I interrupted her. I really love the salads here and appreciate that the meat is locally sourced, but if you're not careful, you'll get to the register and pay $20 for a lunch sized salad that does not come with anything (bread is extra). SS are way overpriced for a counter service / to-go environment. I left a note on the website a few days ago still no response. There was an issue with another customer that I thought the manager did a great job at offering everything under the moon to help with the situation, when the woman ( customer) said she was going to do anything to get her fired . She also hung out outside on th e patio talking to her I believe co workers telling them to also contact for reviews. I just think that when writing a review there should be some response or phone call. ( look back on your notes left on website) has my phone number and email address! No reason someone needs to deliberately cause problems. If that customer actually went through with it. Any case I frequently visit this location . I don't know the managers name she is there everytime . This last time a tall girl with curly hair was super friendly/ welcoming. I would definitely recommend this location for lunch time. This is the worst location. I've gone here several times and each time something ends up being wrong with my order. Team members do not move with a sense of urgency. They make mistakes on menu'd salads where you have to constantly reiterate what it includes. Shouldn't they (not trainees) know their salads?They also don't pay attention to online ordering requests. If I could give a 0 I would. I went here on a random Wednesday night at 7 after the dinner rush. The service was awful and the management was even worse. I wanted a half salad but the boy at the beginning made me a full so I had to pay $15 for a salad. He made a giant potion and my bowl was overflowing with salad (three portions worth) which seems like I should not complain but it was ridiculous. It took them 35 mins to cook my chicken for my salad when it should have been ready in 5. very disappointed with the manager. She was very rude to her staff in front of customers and we were told we were wrong multiple times about our orders. What ever happened to the customer is always right? She had a bad attitude and it wasn't even busy. The employees seemed lost. I ordered the bbq ranch chicken salad and the boy making it had no idea what was in it and I corrected him multiple times. This is probably the Snappy Salads that has the best service! The veggies were all fresh and when I ordered my salad, I had a great conversation with one of the employees. The salad was amazing! I had the Bam Bam salad and the lemon cookies are to die for! I was having a very rough day but this kid named Evelyn (who made my salad) was the employee who turned my day around. This service at snappy salads serves as a model to all other restaurants out there. I have never had an restaurant experience like this in other restaurants such as Zoe's kitchen or anywhere else. I thoroughly enjoy eating at Snappy's. More recently I have noticed that the younger staff is very welcoming and friendly. On Monday evening I had a call-in order and two teens were very considerate and apologetic when I had to wait a moment. However, when I went to checkout, the older African American women was very aggressive and rude. I've also had companions who seem to have the same issue with this manager. I love dining here but not when I feel unwelcome. 4/5 for the staff but 1/5 max for the manager. read more

But when I came in the other day, there were three younger ladies who were behind the counter who had smiles on their face and looked happy and lively. This was my first time to SS. After reading the other reviews (after visiting), I did notice a lot of what was previously said about the place has not been addressed. Right away, I noticed that the tables and floors were not that clean. The place was empty (5PM/Thursday) so not like customers were eating and place couldn't be clean. The staff was very friendly, so that wasn't the issue. The main problem I had was that the shrimp in the Warm Chili Garlic Shrimp was off..you know that "not so fresh" shrimp taste--well, that's this one. For the price of these salads, they really need to serve fresh food. I think the salad would have been excellent (great taste otherwise), but for the shrimp. The other salads were just okay. We spent about $42 for 4 salads. Sizes were good, but I don't think I'd go back. If Salads is what you're offering, it has to be fresh, fresh, fresh (at least for me). read more

Attitude...I mean, I like snappy salads however I don't like a manager that acts like they are annoyed by the customer. Send this manager back to training or replace her with someone you would want to represent your company. I see many reviews that address attitude and echo them, but it seems to originate with the manager, she sets the tone and while a few employees had an ok attitude, it was a downer. Send her to the one at 121 to see how it is done. Also, the employees here seem to act like the toppings you get are coming out of the mouths of their family... case in point, pick walnuts, she picks up two... literally! Ask for blue cheese, she picks up a tiny chunk? Fine if I am paying $6, but paying $14 , I don't want a salad with a hint of toppings... again, it seems like they have been trained to be stingy, if that is true, you'll get zero of my repeat business here... I'll drive to the one on 121 and parkwood in Frisco. My visit was in the evening on Friday the 9th so the owner can drop in and quality check with a mystery shopper to see this in action. read more

Salads are good but I don't know how much longer I'll be going there. I called in my order today and was told it was a 10 minute wait. 30 minutes later I had to ask why I still didn't have any food. Staff didn't seem to care. Told me they were swamped. This place is great if you have a lot of time for lunch but very hit and miss when it comes to staff.
