I normally just get a red plastic glass of water myself from the side but was promptly and rudely told no and watched the guy just dump it out and was told it was only water. Called ahead...told no wait. Greeted with "Welcome! Come on in! Open seating! Bargain special Rib Eye for $25.00!" Well, no wait for seating, but ... We ordered drinks (sodas and water) and a couple of appetizers. Several minute wait for basic sodas... Cans with a cup of ice at $3.00 each and water at $3.00 a bottle. Lemonade for $3.00 but no refills on anything. WTF? Water by the bottle @ $3.00? Can soda? Hmmmm After we got the sodas and water, (fifteen minutes after ordering them) we were told, "The kitchen has told us it will be at least a 35 minute wait for food your order. WTF? Well, we'd been there for 15 minutes already and it would take 30 minutes to go somewhere else, so...OK...Guess we will have to wait. 15 minutes later, got the appetizers. About 45 minutes after that, 1/2 the food finally came. About 5 minutes later, the other 1/2 arrived. On the 2nd half, 2 of the orders were wrong. One with the wrong sides and gravy on chicken that was requested with none, and the other with the wrong sides and no fries that had been ordered. That would have been OK, but when we asked about it we were then told, "Well that's the way it was ordered and it will take 30 minutes to get fries and/or chicken with no gravy". This, after waiting 50 minutes? A few minutes later, an assistant manager intervened and got some fries and replacement chicken. So, over an hour after we had been seated, we finally had most of our order. Of the eight of us, three said their food was good - Quesadillas, Catfish and Club Sandwich. My wife and I had the shrimp and it was like frozen from a bag. Not good. One had a hamburger, and said it was not very good. And the one with the chicken...enough said. The waitress tried very hard. But she was overwhelmed and at the mercy of bad management. Overall, a VERY POOR and DISAPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Probably will not ever go back... and will not recommend to anyone! read more

I've been here many, many times with friends for drinks, outdoor festivities and music and ALWAYS had a blast. Today was one of the first times I've sat to eat with my family, a party of 9, and we ALL enjoyed our meals! We don't agree that the prices are high, especially for the portion size! From their cajun shrimp to club sandwiches and wings and then their California chicken plates, the food was DELICIOUS!! I've always enjoyed their mixed drinks, though I will steer clear of asking for jalapeño margaritas in the future. Save those for Angelina's! Our server was Kaelyn. She exceeded all expectations for being knowledgeable and clear as well as attentive (to all of her tables) and sweet. Folks these days forget how interesting the service industry is and how busy a kitchen can get when serving clientele as busy as Sneaky Pete's. Even with a kitchen delay, I give this visit a solid 5 stars! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. I enjoyed the time for family banter & the people watching was phenomenal. Will start off by saying that this place offers the best lake view. That's the only reason I go here. Drinks : They have a full bar with a good choice of liquor. Their cocktails are not at its best. Prefer sticking to beer or the plain and simple mixes. Food : Nothing worthy of mention. I prefer getting a couple of appetizers to go with the drinks. Not your place if you are really hungry. Service : Was fast and efficient and the waitress kept checking back regularly. It was not crazy busy but not a dull weekend by any means. Was impressed with the service. Ambience : Parking can get tricky when it's crowded. There is overflow parking by the lake but there is no guarantee of finding a spot. They have a 2 pools, one for volleyball and the other to chill in. Indoor and outdoor seating aplenty. The outdoor tables and chairs are really messy and not maintained well. Get some paper towels and you get a table with a great lake view. Will I return : Yes, only for drinks by the lake :) read more

But if the amount wasn't back to text him and he would sort it out.. I called my bank Tuesday to see if anything would be returning to my card or if a refund had been processed and they said nothing was happening with these charges. I texted the number that was given to me and nothing is being done... Our waitress took our order 10 minutes after we sat down then we waited 30 minutes to get some water bottles and a couple of bottles beers that you just had to pop the top off. Then we ordered food and we waited and hour total for our food to come out and most of it was cold and wrong so about to 4-5 or us sent out food back. We celebrated our graduate yesterday at Sneaky Pete's. I came in to reserve for a party of 40. They were very accommodating. Everyone was having a great time, when the owner approached, my nephew, the father of the graduate and asked him to follow him to the bathroom. When the door opened it was apparent that it had been vandalized. Trash everywhere, paper towel machines torn off the wall. The owner proceeded to tell my nephew that the young boys in his party, did this and he would have to pay for the damages. My nephew argued that our kids had been outside the whole time. He asked if the owner had checked the cameras. After reviewing the cameras it was 2 adult white men that had done the damages, not our young BLACK men. The owner was very apologetic. But too late. If they are gonna charge for water they may want to offer a larger plastic cup. The service was incredibly slow, but I didn't mind because I knew our waitress had just started working there and she didn't have a handle on it yet. No biggie. She was so stinkin sweet, it was easy to overlook. The food was what you'd expect for a restaurant where the servers ran around scantily clad, but the view and ambiance was fun fun fun! We sat under a covered patio and just below us was the swimming pool that overlooked Lewisville Lake. It was a nice day to people watch, sit back with a beer, and chit chat with people that sat at tables that were close to ours. Jasmine was a horrible server. She was lazy. We had a server named Melissa. She was amazing. Then at shift change we were stuck with Jasmine. She was slow and would complain every time our table had to call her over. Mind you we're not picky people. Our friends were leaving and wanted their checks. We had to track Jasmine down multiple times. Then after our friends left we wanted our checks. She charged my friend for a margarita that she didn't order. Upon inquiring about it, it turns out Jasmine didn't charge one of our friends for a drink. She came back to our table asking who was going to pay for it. Uh... Neither of us. We told her no rand that it was her fault. She literally threw our checks at us and didn't give us a pen to sign. We found the GM, Mike, who was a sweetheart. He apologized. We spent over an hour and 20 minutes there waiting on our food before we gave up. It took more than 20 minutes to get a beer after ordering it from the table. "The bar is backed up". Really??? How long does it take to open a beer!?? It's not even lake season! The place was far from busy!! Finally, after asking for a manager, food comes to our table. It looks cold and gross.... AND ITS NOT EVEN OUR FOOD!! Thankfully. Again, it looked gross. BUT.... turns out it went to the people seated behind us THAT HAD BEEN THERE 15 MINUTES!!!!!! Finally the manager comes full of bs apologies. We tell her forget it, cancel the food and we just want to leave. She says "I'll take care if your tab." We tell her we had a drink tab and she said she'd discount it. 10 minutes later she hasn't came back with a tab, so we leave $20 on the table and start to walk out. This raised a huge flag since we had multiple people at our table going to pay separate. So, you can see how this is going to end. The wait staff barely came to us to refill drinks or tell us where our food was. The food took forever to come out and a few still did not have their food after most of the table were done eating. When their food did come it was already packaged up in To Go boxes. Food was ok at best. Then when the checks came, they were separated and quickly picked up, but the one who put the card down on the table had already been charged for the entire table. DOUBLE DIP!!!!
