I was looking for dessert and The Crescent was nearby enough that we went and found SnowBall RiceBall. I haven't had snow ice in a while and their menu's range of options was pretty average: mostly fruit options, a couple of easy like Blizzard style toppings and injeolmi which was interesting but not enough for me to choose it. I went pretty basic with their strawberry one and I have to say it was solid: the snow ice was milky but light and not overly sweet. The strawberries looked fresh and not drowned in syrup and despite our semi-largeish group the folks behind the counter were patient in letting us decide what we wanted.

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon to get some honeydew boba and taro boba. We were surprise to see they have offer bí hsu and other snacks. We just had dinner so we were too full to try their snack dishes. Maybe next time because their food looked good ! The honeydew and taro boba was super milky and i wasn't a fan of it. The honeydew tasted artificial and the taro did too. Taro didn't have a strong taste and was sitting in the very back seat. 1/5 for bobas. The boba was super mushy and didn't have the proper chew texture. Service was fast and the establishment was jammed packed. No tables to sit. Overall experience and do I recommend this place?: undetermined until I return to try the food. Drinks based on the two drinks I tried wasn't great.

I didn't like it :/ I am a fan of both onigiri, bingsu (Korean shaved ice), and boba, all of which they offer so I was super hyped to try this place. Got their beef and tuna onigiri, as well as the brown sugar boba. Yes, I know brown sugar boba is usually sweet but this tasted artificial. I asked if they could dilute it and the second time was no different. It was still sweet. I couldn't finish the boba, which is a big no-no in my book because I almost always finish boba unless it's bad. Both onigiris are alright but the meats seem overly salted. Didn't make my mouth sing. Not sure if the bingsu is any good but based off of this experience, I don't know if I'll be back. Located in the 99 ranch plaza area so the cramped parking spots are painful too.

We got the medium mango bingsoo after we had hotpot next door. It was perfect to split between 4 people. They pack the top and bottom with mango and the flavors were all so refreshing together. The bingsoo came out fast. Would definitely come back for it.

We just stopped by to get a ball of rice with egg and shiitake mushroom flavor and furikake sprinkles on top for $4.99. Twas a good one yet hope the egg was a bit more warmer as it was quite cold while rice was warm. Although the temperature difference was bit of surprise, it was tasty! Could be over priced but a good experience. Cheers

My granddaughter got a spicy salmon roll and Nutella taiyaki. It's a cute, clean restaurant with a nice staff. We enjoyed the food, though she said the taiyaki is better at snowy village, probably because the Nutella filling oozed out of the little pastries and there wasn't any inside.

Really cool spot for rice balls and desserts! The rice balls are tasty, filling, and come with a good variety of flavors. I had the pork belly rice ball, spicy tuna rice ball, & spicy salmon rice ball. The vibe is casual and relaxed--great place to grab a light meal or sweet treat with friends. Great staff and excellent service as well.

I love the rice balls over here! It's better than me making them at home! the people are so nice... and they have upbeat music and they have filtered water. :) I will be back as I love the beef rice balls and my friend loves the salmon ones!!

Here is what I ordered vs. what I actually received. They are completely different. The mochi had zero flavor and tasted like straight rubber!!! When I pointed out how different it looked from the display, the staff gaslit me by saying 'no one else complains' and made me feel like I was the crazy one. I am never coming back.

Rice ball is easy and quick lunch or snack. This restaurant is small. However, the wait is long on our experience. We got the spicy salmon rice ball. It wrap with seaweed. The spicy salmon is flavorful. The price is kind of expensive for small rice ball. Overall is a good experience. Been there done that.

I wanted to add a photo of this delicious banana dessert! Everyone should eat a sweet potato waffle and a red bean waffle, but you also need to try these carmelized bananas!

What a gem in Austin! I was so lucky to drive by the crescent when I decided to stop for lunch. There are a ton of unique Asian food options in this shopping area and I was intrigued because I've never heard of this place. Service was prompt and kind, food was SO good and there's a decent amount of indoor seating. I got one of the combos with a spicy tuna onigiri, fried shrimp mayo onigiri, and miso soup. The soup was so hot and comforting. The onigiri was really flavorful and even the rice was seasoned well. I would definitely come back. The menu is huge and offers a lot of variety.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.
