This place is an absolute mess in terms of service. I went to this location when it first opened and let it pass thinking it was just how it is when a place gets rolling. It's been a few months now and the waiters still chit chat in the corner and ignore the tables, the food takes forever to come out, the fries are cold by the time you get them, and your drinks never get refilled. Customer service is really good during lunch. Pricing is okay. Chicken tenders looked like good quality meat but the texture was kind of rubbery. Fries were decent. We visited the Richardson location on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:30pm. Our server only had two other tables of 2-3 people she was waiting on. She forgot to bring out our appetizer that we ordered, admitting she saw it in the kitchen window. She never checked back on us to see how our food was, or to fill up our drinks, but she did ask the table behind us, how their food was. She never returned to our table, only to give us the bill, which she was going to give us someone else's bill because she forgot what we ordered. Management was NOT any better, as the manager stood in the bar area the entire time, watching the games that were on the tv. He did come over to say he took the appetizer off, but didn't want to hear what we had to say about the waitress. It appeared as we were an inconvenience of taking him away from the game and walking 30 feet to talk to us...Just horrible customer service from the top to the bottom! read more

The first time I ate at Snuffers was about 1971 or 1972 at the Lower Greenville location. I ate there for many years. Excellent burgers and excellent service. Fast forward to 08/06/2016. The Richardson location experience is not the same as the original. Our waitress was excellent. We had a forty minute wait for a burger that had an extremely greasy aftertaste. It was not up to Snuffer's standards. It wasn't up to McDonald's standards. Again, this was not the fault of our waitress. One other thing. COLD room temperature.!!!! read more

Beyond disappointed in our experience there yesterday. While I was waiting for my daughter finish up in the restroom, I witnessed a Snuffers employee come out of a bathroom stall and exit without washing her hands. When I came around the corner I then saw the same girl pulling out food out of the expo window with her very unwashed hands. I spoke with the manager and was again disappointed in the reaction. It was hurried and not genuine. There was absolutely no follow up with us after the manager claimed to speak with employee. All we were told was she was a hostess as if that was a good enough reason for not washing her hands. There was no real recovery for our table after this, no real apology. After seeing this and seeing the lack of follow up again. After all if basic hand washing is not trained and enforced consistently I can only imagine what sanitary measures are not followed in the kitchen. We will not be back. read more

This place was surprisingly fantastic. We went on a Friday night after work, so the place was crazy busy.That said, we were met with a friendly smile and almost immediately seated. After being seated, we had 2 different wait staff check on us to make sure we ordered. Our appetizer, the cheese fries, came out really fast and were awesome. Just as we were about to finish the fries, our burgers came out. We had ordered one burger well done, one medium, and one medium-rare. They were all cooked perfectly! It was unbelievable. I'm shocked that a Snuffers would have anything other than 4 or 5 stars. This is an iconic Dallas burger place. If you really want to be a Dallasite eat here. Do a little research on their roots and you will be able to talk the talk and walk the walk. Otherwise you're missing out. The food was exactly what we expected of a Snuffers. My husband and I have been to this new location about 5 or 6 times and each time is the same. The food is good but the service is terrible. After dining there last night, we finally decided we won't be back. The servers run around as if they have no direction, and after seeing the management in the restaurant, I can see why. Servers only pay attention to the tables they are assigned to, we waited 5 minutes for someone to greet us last night and take our drink order. The host staff clearly doesn't know what they're supposed to be doing and when. My husband and I got up three times last night to ask for utensils, refills, etc. I try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt since I worked in the service industry for ten years but this location clearly does not know what they are doing. We love the food but will not be back to this location. The location on Northwest Highway is usually pretty good and that is where we will be going. read more

First time here and I was sorely disappointed the service was awful! My waitress took my order wrong then proceeded to ignore us, when trying to flag her down she still ignored us! It wasn't until not one but three different waitresses serviced our table that she came back, and when she did she had an attitude and tried to tell me I told her the wrong order. When if she had just confirmed the order or come back to our table it would have cut down on the confusion. had 4 other witnesses that heard what I said. Management never came to the table to check on us. Sadly I will never be back to this place nor will my associates! This was our 2nd visit and both times the services was very poor. Saturday I had to walk inside to get a server to wait on us outside. Never checked to see how our food was, if we needed anything else. After finishing and waiting for a long time my husband went in to ask her for boxes to go. She ignored him at first. He then had to go back in to talk to the manager since when she came out she had major attitude. The manager was very apologetic and took care of our tab. I love snuffers, their food is great, cheese fries are phenomenal. Been to many locations including Greenville, Addison and Preston center. That being said this location does not have it together yet. We went when they first opened and service was slow and not correct. We decided to try to give it another chance and just did a to go order. Not only would they not answer the phone (5 calls!) so you could place the order, but when we got there after waiting 20 minutes, one of our orders was wrong. Maybe they were short staffed right? No. There were 3 people working at the bar alone. I understand mistakes happen, however it took another 20 minutes for them to take the cheese off a burger. This whole ordeal took almost an hour, that's right for a to go order! Very disappointed and will not be back. read more

You get a very generous portion but for some god-awful reason they actually put celery in it which totally throws off the taste. My husband and I love snuffers in general and have been trying this new location several times. We order our usual but the food has been inconsistent. My jalapeño burger sometimes come out perfect, but sometimes over cooked and dry. My husband has not complained about his cheese fries yet. The service has been inconsistent as well. Great & attentive at times and slow as snails another. I'll continue to give it a few more chances until they work out the kinks of being a new location. I'll up it to 4 stars if the food and service become consistently good. read more
