The several times that I have been there or just to the Cinema portion, the Glass Half Full Taproom has been pretty slow. Like not even Half Full kind of busy... The service is usually pretty decent, but once again that has mainly been when they are not very busy. They usually don't have many people on staff so if they do get busy, it is going to affect you speed of your service. That can sometimes be detrimental if you are grabbing a beer before catching a movie. Selection is not an issue here. They have 32 beers on tap here, so your biggest issue if you are like me, is just making a decision. My typical go-to; Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde. Ambiance-wise it is a beer room. Megan is extremely talented and professional when she needs to be, but is also a hardworking and dedicated person who cares about all of her customers, regardless if they are regulars or not. The staff at this restaurant/bar are always welcoming, and not just to locals. I just moved to Dallas and they have been nothing short of wonderful to myself and my colleagues. Megan, Biriley, Jenn, as well as the kitchen staff and management run a great ship, and if you're looking for that local watering hole/casual feel you can't do better in Richardson. I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for a casual and fun place to hang after work, on a day off, or just trying to catch the game. Give them a shot.

Spoke with the manager, who then spoke with the owners. She informed me that due to New Year's Eve, everyone was charged a 20% gratuity. I asked why this was not disclosed beforehand. She stated that for special events the gratuity is 20%, and on normal days it is 15%. I expressed concern about being charged an increased amount without prior notification to the customer. I will definitely not be back! Can't even support your own people!
