It was around holiday time so we decided to wait until the new year to begin the project. I got in touched with Wayne after the new year and we couldn't be happier with the end product. His pricing, expertise, and professionalism was unbeatable. From the time of us signing up for the project, it took about 6 weeks to get the project started and the once it started, about a few days for the fireplace installation from scratch, and then a few more days for them to install the mantel. Wayne is very easy to work with and is very kind and professional. He even recommended someone to fix and patch up our drywall afterwards and the results are phenomenal. Something didn't feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion and called him back. When he came out, he did another fireplace sweep and also repaired cracks in both the exterior and interior of my fireplace. He took the time to carefully inspect everything and honestly told me those additional services the other company recommended were not necessary. I really appreciated his honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation. His pricing is very fair, and his work is excellent. It's rare to find someone this honest, skilled, and trustworthy. I highly recommend him and will continue to use him in the future.

While he was here, he also installed a damper clamp that we didn't realize was missing, which brought the fireplace up to code. Before calling Fireplace Doctor, we had another company come out. Steve and his crew are regular people that treat others with kindness and respect not because they have to, but because that's who they are. They fixed a leaky pipe in my backyard without having to pull up my pavers and then they fixed a pipe in my front planter that solved low pressure on my drip lines. No fuss, no extra charges or unnecessary parts and labor.
