My dryer vent is odd and goes up through a wall in the center of the house and exits on the roof on the 2nd floor (thanks new home builder). I also asked him to inspect the full length of my vent tube, since houses in my area were known for rushed shoddy construction and part of the vent tube had come apart some years back (but was repaired by some AC guys I hired a few yrs ago). Jesse showed up 15min early and got the entire job done within about 35min, including a full cleaning of the vent tube from the roof all the way down to my dryer without having to move anything, take anything apart, and he spent a minimum of time inside my house. At my request, he also ran a camera down the tube to ensure there were no unrepaired breaks or leaks and everything was intact and working the way it was supposed to. At the end of the job he provided me with the video which showed my vent tube was sparkly clean, and he ended up charging me exactly what he quoted over the phone and not a penny more. Yes this job can be DIY if you have the right tools. I reached out to Kevin on Yelp and we set up a time for him to come by. The issue I had was that I bought a portable Pizza oven that I needed to connect to my natural gas supply but I didn't have all the connections to make it work. I did my research and got what I thought I needed, but when Kevin came out, it turns out I was missing an adapter. Kevin came back a few days later with the adapter to make everything work, and even checked out another issue I had with an inside gas fireplace.
