I've had others and they fail miserably at trying to make a bowl that is anywhere near as awesome as the bowls in this place. The acai berry bowl is a must have for anybody passing through these neck of the woods. It comes in either "kids" or "regular" sizes, which frankly makes no sense. You dont need venti tall and grande but "small" and "large" will do. My ego always persuades me into the larger cup forcing me to eat more than I should but this time I swallowed my pride and went for the more appropriate kids size and it was perfect. Just like eating cereal for breakfast, except the cold acai berry juice on the bottom is the milk, the unflavored granola is your corn flakes, sliced up fruit for taste (I recommend adding pineapple and kiwi to the base bowl), and a drizzle of sliced coconut serves as the sugar you would sprinkle on your corn flakes. This place has gone down hill. Used to be great but they are too busy and the nasty lady who fills the granola and acai is awful!!!! Very rude, dumps either a huge mound of granola and very little acai or just altogether skimps on the acai. The younger girls at the register or that do the fruit are better but yesterday was my third disappointing trip to this place and I won't be coming back. I complained last time and Ms. McNasty angrily threw my acai bowl to me with half of the regular amount of acai because I complained about the overwhelming granola. In love with this place! I came here with my mom, and I got the ship wrecked salad which was delicious! It conveniently came in a re-usable Tupperware, and it was a decent size too! Not skimpy at all, and it was only 6.30! We then even went back to get an acai bowl to share. I love how this place gives you the option to choose what size bowl you want. Most places give you one size and one price. That is what makes this place stand out from the others. I am so happy that they just opened one up near me in Huntington. I've been really debating what rating I should give but I think I'm finally satisfied with 2 stars. The food is really good, so that's why I didn't end up giving a 1 star but service is horrendous. For starters, their menu is fairly misleading. I ordered a breakfast burrito with caramelized onions and potato hash. There was no indication of bacon and I'm a vegetarian. I'm not super picky about that and figured they'd toss it anyway so I picked around it. The egg, potato hash and onions were delicious though. The service is very slow, which I completely understand, but the young woman who was crafting the bowls seemed very confused which slowed production even more. What should have been cause for alarm is that she handled many common allergens with the same gloves that she handled fruit with which brings me to my main concern. I have a nut allergy which I typically don't have to worry about because most places, even if they do use nuts, wash their equipment in between uses. When I asked my cashier about the smoothies available (because there wasn't a smoothie menu, at least not visibly), he mentioned their Acai smoothie and listed all of the ingredients. He also mentioned that they can also do custom smoothies. I ordered the Acai smoothie not thinking much of it and after a few sips, I started to have an allergic reaction. I went to the counter and asked one of the employees if their Acai smoothies had nuts because I'm developing an allergic reaction. She said no and essentially said that it's not possible for me to have an allergic reaction because there are no nuts in the smoothie. Then I asked if other smoothies use nuts and she said yes. She then grabbed her manager who didn't apologize, but rather mentioned that if I have an allergy, I should disclose the information, which is completely true and I will take responsibility for that. However, many places that use nuts such as Red Mango, Jamba Juice, Tropical Smoothie, Starbucks, etc don't have remnants of nuts (at least not enough to give me a reaction) because they actually wash their equipment. I asked numerous times if I could return the smoothie that I literally took two sips of, (which I wasn't planning on asking in the first place but, I didn't like her attitude) and finally after a few groans she refunded me and I used that money at Rite Aid next door so my friend, who is allergic to pineapple (the whole glove situation as stated above) and I could buy Benadryl. It honestly makes me nervous that a food establishment could cause two allergic reactions just by not cleaning their equipment properly and by cross contamination. read more

If you are looking to treat yourself I would definably recommend getting an Acai Bowl from here. I always get kiwis added in just to boost the fruit. I also love the granola with nuts, gives it that extra crunch. But they do offer a nut free option. The staff is young but very friendly and fast. I have been to the Saville location a couple times now and now really excited one just opened in Patchogue. The Patchogue one did not have seating inside though. They also sell Acai popsicles which I might just dare getting into when the summer months to come closer. read more

Their Acai Bowls are good (and expensive) but anything else I would stay away from. I've been to Super Bowls about 5 times and any time I've gotten something with the exception of the Acia Bowl I've been very disappointed. The burritos they serve just dont taste right, and the salads are honestly terrible. A bit of advice, stay away from adding shrimp to anything. I paid $7 extra dollars to get some on my salad which amounted to 6 pieces of tiny shrimp that looked like they came from a discount shrimp-cocktail platter from stop and shop. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's rare that a young staff shows such commitment to superior customer service. The first time I visited, I couldn't find the shop. I called and was told they had just closed. When the employee heard my disappointment, he immediately said he would remain open until I arrived. He then left the shop, walked to Main Street and looked for me because I was having trouble finding the location. I was really impressed with how helpful he was. Service was quick. All of the staff was friendly. And the acai bowls were delicious! My kids love them - and it's rare that they like anything healthy! This is a very casual quick service style restaurant. I've been there around lunch time.... it gets so busy the line is out the door, especially in the summer. For food, the empanada is okay, and I really enjoy the veggie chili. I ordered the Greek salad once and while I wanted to like it, I'm pretty sure they put in sliced canned black olives which threw the whole salad off. Why is the line out the door?
