We held our company Christmas party here and had an absolute blast! So much to do: fire pits, games, indoor and outdoor seating, arcade games, bar games, yard games... lots to choose from. The food was also super yummy. The prime rib was perfectly made (a little underseasoned)... but everything else was great! We may have our next party there next year. Ashley V was a great hostess. This is the worst establishment. The staff is unprofessional and very rude. The moment I walked they could not guide my family and myself. They make you walk to the bar to order drinks and food but charge you gratuity. They saw we had children because they went in to get water, yet they waited until we order to ask to leave without allowing us to finish our food. Ive never been to a place run by a more immature group of poorly communicating children(male foh staff specifically). The blowed out manager in attempt to impress the exquisitely gorgeous server went agro dusty jake paul bro bro and turned the lights off before telling us it was last call or that they were closing. He was threatening, insecure and physically posturing. She could probably get a gob that pays 10x more and work and learn from professionals. He could have just popped his head out to let us know they were closing. (Typically what happens in the hospitality business) Instead he attempted to physically and verbally intimidate us. This is a good place to go just to hangout and get some beers. Food is okay. Cocktails are okay- basic and too sweet. The games are fun, and it's a nice big space. Great place to just go hangout. I've found one of my favorite burgers of all time in Arizona. Feast your eyes on this big boy: it's called "The Beast Burger" and for good reason. It's an 8 oz wood fire grilled wagyu, boar, elk & bison patty topped with pepper jack cheese, roasted jalapeno, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato & onion. I got a side of truffle fries with mine and everything tasted excellent. I loved the spicy kick & the different textures complimented each other. My friend got a plate of brussel sprouts and elote, and she said both were great. If you're in Arizona, I'd recommend swinging through Social Hall in Tempe, AZ to take a bite out of their burgers and try their other offerings as well. You won't be disappointed. My friend and I had their Bavarian cream churros with raspberry sorbet for dessert, and both gave it an A+. It was a lighter dessert, and the sorbet was so refreshing with the sugary sweet goodness of the churro. Although the service was a little slow because they were so busy, the food made up for it. Social Hall doesn't only offer a dining and bar space. There is a selection of entertainment if you're looking to bring a group of friends out for some fun. They offer shuffleboard, giant Jenga, Skee-ball, pool tables, ping pong, foosball, darts, and arcade games. They also have a large patio area that is so trendy and beautiful; perfect for warm summer days. The entire restaurant is so spacious and can accommodate to a lot of guests. When I'm back in Arizona, I plan to try their green chile mac. I saw several other tables order this dish, and it looked to die for. Tempe's lucky to have a spot like Social Hall! read more

This place is a lot of fun and the food is good. The Brussels sprouts as an appetizer are amazing! You won't be disappointed. I love that there are different areas to hang out and free arcade/bar games to play indoor and outdoor. Just an overall cool spot to hang out. My one complaint is that the few times I've been here I've been given an absurd wait time (like an hour) and then get seated within 15 minutes. I understand trying to overshoot the wait time so that customers are happy when it's actually less, but I would prefer more of an accurate estimate. On more than one occasion my husband and I have decided to go elsewhere due to the extended wait time given. And as soon as we arrive somewhere else we get a text that we are ready to be seated (too late). read more

We stopped in here for a quick drink before heading to the movies. We were pleased with their decent draft list, but were highly disappointed with the service. We sat at the bar and it took 15 plus minutes to even be acknowledged. We were very close to leaving and finding a drink elsewhere. Once we finally did get service it was very unfriendly. The space is pretty neat, the food sounds good, and they do a have good sized tap list, but the service makes it doubtful that we will return. It was pretty dead when we came (5:30) for happy hour so not sure if it's always like that or it's not super busy that early in the day. Overall I loved the selection of drinks and we got the nachos as a snack. All very good and the service was OK, I wouldn't say great but it was Ok. Staff didn't seem to care about complaining how slow it was in front of customers. The space is cool, the bar inside and outside patios are nice and then the game area looked fun. I had bought several items that were great but one of the tacos was inedible; I asked her to take it off the check. We never saw her again and had to chase down another associate to finally cash out. It was a 6/10, I could tell the bread was toasted but sat out for awhile while the other toppings went on top but the proscuitto/apple slices/jam combination was very delicious! It was also a little disappointing that it wasn't very filling, not much hashbrowns came with it. Two of my friends got different toasties and they weren't satisfied that the meal wasn't very filling either. I took my cousin here during a calm weekday before her flight. This place is such a cool set up for big groups with large tables, a huge outdoor area, and lots of games. They even have MARIO KART! Foodwise we ordered the following: 1) El Chapo Burger ($14) - The burger was a decent burger, but I have no idea why it was so expensive. There wasn't anything that particularly wowed me about the burger or fries. 2) Crispy Duck Tacos ($11) - The tacos were pretty good but wasn't worth the price. I was expecting a bit more than just the 2 tacos by themselves, maybe rice or beans? The plate looked a bit sad for the $11 we paid for. I was not full after eating these. All in all I probably wouldn't go back for the food, but definitely to hang out and play some of the games. read more

Plenty of ways to socialize after eating. Pretty decent sized patio with a fire pit on one side. When the weather is nice, definitely eat outside. read more

Atmosphere - When we arrived the indoor dining was already full per the hostess.  There was a 45 plus minute wait for indoor so we went with outdoor seating.  The area is covered with sail shades and misters.  Being 100° outside it was comfortable.  The floor was just dirt so a nice tile or wood deck would have been nice. Food Drink - Being new to the area it was nice to see a good variety of local beers.  My wife had a great cider on draft, Cider Corps' Sangin Sangria.  She wants me to find it so we can have it in the house.  Of course I had an IPA.  OHSO's Boom Dymanite.  Now reviewing my notes while writting my review.  I found that Social Hall has a collaboration with Four Peaks, I guess I will have to go back to try that one. Dinner - You had me at Hatch pepper.  The Burqueño Burger it is!!  This burgers has the Hatch peppers, American cheese, cilantro aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion.  The smoke flavor came off in the first bite from the peppers.  Maybe a cheddar cheese would have better.  The sweet potato waffle cut fries almost stole the show, they are that good. Service - We snuck in on happy hour as it goes to 6 PM.  So the draft drinks were only $4.  Our waitress made sure our water never went dry.  I am drying to drink more water and we it is sitting in front of you, you can not forget to drink more. We watched one of the bus boys wipe down the table behind me.  All the excess crumbs including large food crumbs, onto the dirt floor.  The invitation to the birds has been given, surprisingly I did not see any birds the entire time we ate. This was one of my favorite restaurants, however, it seems a lot has changed in the year I've been gone from Tempe. The entres we got just did not satisfy that craving we had for them. I used to come here all the time for the Buffalo Mac and cheese, however, they completely changed the recipe. They still call it "Buffalo Mac and cheese," but now they just drizzle a little bit of Buffalo on it, and you can't really taste it. It's just mac and cheese with pieces of chicken and a literal drizzle of Buffalo. To be fair, the chicken and Mac and cheese are very good, but it's definitely not traditional Buffalo Mac and Cheese, or anything like their old version. I asked for more Buffalo, and they charged me extra for a little side sauce of it. That was pretty bold of them. They also seem to be overworking the staff now because the servers seemed very rush and sometimes would leave before I could ask a question. Or maybe they were just too focused on the larger parties. To continue, I guess someone got sick or hurt at the restaurant, so while eating outside we had to deal with fire trucks / ambulance pull up with their loud cars, awful fumes, and bright lights they just didn't turn off even though we were in a private parking lot. We definitely dealt with that for almost the entirety of our meal. The restaurant didn't even bother saying anything to us about the incident either, which was odd. I used to really like this place and will most likely to come back, but if I have a similar experience I wouldn't come back. I'll update my review the next time I go. read more

I absolutely love the space here. It's well decorated, large enough for a big group to hang out. And it's not super LOUD that you can't hear your friends next to you. They have great outdoor space and inside space. Outdoor space - has hammocks! Also it looks like they have an area for live music. It'll probably be loud on those days, but you can probably hide inside. Outdoors also has giant jenga, ping pong and 3 pool tables Indoor space - indoor is spacious, dim-lifted, has a bar and lots of space. The games area is all FREE! It has shuffle board, foosball table, skee Ball, mario kart arcade, etc. The Food - I wish they had more variety, but the menu isn't the best. Some of their food options are overpriced and the portions aren't that great. Truffle fries are bomb and highly recommended! My friend got the pork chop, but he didn't like it that much. It was juicy, but pretty hard to chew. The burgers and fries have great portions! The more expensive items on the menu ($20+) are lacking in portions. The Drinks - I got a Dark and Stormy and it was delicious. Friend got an Old Fashioned and he said it wasn't anything to write gome I'll definitely be back and will prob stick to their small plates menu and just get full of fries and play games. I LOVE this place! The food was great! We got Elote with chips as a starter and Carnitas tacos and Buffalo Mac for entrees and ALL of the food tasted amazing! Each bite was like a little piece of heaven in your mouth! The server wasn't intrusive but was very nice and able to suggest some menu items. I really loved the games they offer as well. There was something for everyone! My husband and I will definitely be coming here frequently. This place was a great date night spot. read more
