Stopped by this new joint after an exam with some classmates and loved the convenience of it. Besides convenience though, it has lived up to its hype and served delicious pizza. The crust is just right and there are enough variations on toppings to satisfy everyone. With the make your own pizza option you are able to split a pizza with a friend and have separate toppings on each half if so desired. They also offer a gluten free pizza for an additional charge of $4. The White: Truffle bechamel, mushroom, chicken, spinach, balsamic shallots, balsamic reduction. My second favorite after the Tony. One of my only complaints about this one is the use of truffle oil. Truffle oil in of itself is very overpowering and in this situation does take away from the rest of the ingredients. Overall, the flavors do meld well but could do with a little less truffle oil. The Tony: Garlic oil, chicken, spinach, kalamata olive, goat cheese, pickled jalapeno. My favorite of the four we tried, but will say the olives were a bit unnecessary. The combination of pickled jalapenos with garlic and spinach makes this pizza a winner. I ended taking off some of my olives, but I've also never been one to eat whole olives either. Wild Mushroom: Garlic oil, fresh tomato, gouda, goat cheese. We were very confused as this pizza did not come out with mushrooms on it....at first we thought it was the Margerhita but the waitstaff confirmed it was indeed the wild mushroom. Seems they forgot to include the mushrooms in the recipe for their wild mushroom pizza lols. We informed the owner of this issue and he was very apologetic and offered to pay for our pizza. He thanked us for letting him know and that they would indeed be adding mushrooms to the recipe. Besides that though, the pizza was good even without mushrooms. The location and setting itself is amazing for anyone who needs to get away from school and take some downtime to just hang out and talk with friends. Very friendly atmosphere and wait staff. Awesome and polite delivery drivers who can find our apartment, no problem (it can be tricky), to pizzas with gourmet, excellent toppings - Social Pie is our favorite place to order these days! Went on a Thursday for drinks with my Homegirl. HH until 7pm, right around the corner from Parkland hospital, wine and beer on tap and featured pizza available by the slice. Don't be put off by the four stars, I really like their food! Social Pie has a great variety of pizzas and really unique combinations of flavors. Even the chicken wings are so good. They have a lot of flavor, and I must have liked them so much, I was shocked to reach down and see that I had eaten them all so fast! That being said, I feel like the food is just a little overpriced, thus the minus 1 star. Honestly if it was just a bit cheaper, I'd come here all the time. The service is great and pretty fast, even during the busy lunch hours. The parking is slightly limited to the small lot, but there's additional street parking out on the side. There's an outdoor patio section that I love sitting in when the weather is good, especially because I like being a bit rowdy when talking with my friends. The staff is friendly and fun to talk to. Wow, when I saw that a 14" pizza was $16, I thought it was quite steep but I still went for it due to the good reviews. I ordered the whole sausage and arugula pizza, and it was delicious. The crust was fresh, flaky and was not soggy from the toppings - ive never been so excited to get to the crust. It had sausage and a lot of arugula so it had a good balance, not too heavy. There were also tomato slices which were very refreshing, and the marinara sauce was tasty too! It came with little packets of red pepper and parmesan cheese which I thought was a nice gesture. What a bummer. First was here 4-5 y ago. It started out as a nice artisan pizza restaurant. I hadn't been here in about a year and it has really declined. Now it tastes and feels like a chain pizza restaurant meets Applebee's. The ambiance is still fine but with the chainy feel of the food it is starting to remind me of a CiCis without the buffet and that serves wine and beer. Really sad to see the downward trend. The pizza is now subpar and not any better than your major pizza chain.. probably a step down from Pizza Hut. Also, service was not near as friendly and chatty as prior. Always in search for good pizza, my husband and I decided to try social pie. It was a beautifully crisp summer evening on their patio and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the pizza was sub-par, and inferior to multiple other pizza places in Dallas (including pie tap, fireside pies, cane Rousso, olivellas, taverna, Louie's, enos, coal vines, ifratelli, and, dare I say, papa johns). We ordered the sausage and arugula pizza and the mushroom pizza. The dough was soggy with too many toppings. The only good thing about the pizza was the jimmy's sausage, which I could drive down the street and buy on my own. I liked the presentation of the Cesar salad, however, mixing the ingredients was annoying. The dressing was bland. I also had to ask for my beer 3 times before it actually arrived, 20 minutes later. Social pie has potential with its fun atmosphere, but sadly it's food and service are not quite up to snuff. We won't be returning. read more

The Super nice guy who answered was so so friendly and informative to my questions about what to order. He explained everything to a T!!! We ordered through Uber Eats. It was exactly the way the super nice guy I called before placing my order. Our food was hot , fresh and delicious!!! FYI.. it's all about customer service and your first call. Absolutely horrible service from the bartenders at least. No one greeted me when I walked in. After I sat at the bar the bartender(younger clean cut guy with dark hair) continued his conversation with a friend who was also sitting at the bar. Took him close to 10 mins to finally address me as if he was confused as to why I wa s here. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. When my food was delivered I got 4 slices of pizza. Obviously I was confused. He later explained that 2 slices of their pizza is actually counted as 1- would have been nice to know before I ordered more than what I wanted. Bartender never checked up on me or asked if I needed anything further. Didn't offer water. Nothing!! Literally watched me as I got up and walked to the other side of the bar to get crushed red peppers and Parmesan cheese. However, when a young white woman came and sat at the bar she was greeted immediately and received a totally different experience than I. Luckily an older lady with long red hair was super sweet and did check on me and offer me water, etc. Food was decent. Not superb. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I literally live within walking distance. Would have been a super convenient spot. Could have easily become a regular. Will not suggest that my friends or family try this place. At least not those who are not young and white. He came over and told us how we get a bottlecap for buying the pizza and we use it to vote for 1 of 3 featured charities by dropping it in the jar associated with the charity. A % of the monthly proceeds then get donated to the charity with the most caps. How cool is that?!?! Pizza for a good cause, sign me up! I've walked to Social Pie a few times for lunch and I've enjoyed the pizza and salad lunch special both visits. The first time I ordered a slice of the margherita and the second time I had the wild mushroom and added pepperoni. Both were sooo good. The lunch bundle is a slice of pizza, salad and drink for about $10. The slice of pizza is very large - fold in half to pick up large and the salad is basic but also hits the spot for lunch. Definitely worth the $10 and repeat visits. There's plenty of seating inside and also a patio area - I see this place being packed on the weekends and in the evenings during peak hours. There's a wall with their happy hour and weekend specials and it's been different each time I was here for lunch. I haven't been in to check out the happy hour but it's definitely on the radar to try. As long as I work in walking distance, I will definitely keep Social Pie on my lunch list, especially when needing to get away from the office! I LIVE FOR and LOVE any and all forms of pizza! I could eat pizza 7 days a week. I was introduced to my latest love: Social Pie! They have a variety of creations or you can build your own. All the ingredients are super fresh! I was particularly drawn to their Mediterranean creation called The Tony! The base is garlic oil and topped with feta and a medley of olives! The crust wasn't super thin but not thick either. It did melt in your mouth with all the other ingredients falling in line to create a Mediterranean feast in your mouth! Social Pie has some great craft beers to wash it all down. I tried one called Bubblegum IPA. It was very light and just a hint of sweet. But not bubblegum sweet. If you can't handle a full pint, they do have a smaller glasses like an 8 and 13 ounce size. They offer happy hour 2-7p with 25% off wine and beer. Social Pie also has a brisket sandwich, mimosas and house sangria. Didn't get to sample but that gives me reason to go back and take folks with me to spread the Gospel of Social Pie! read more

I called and asked what was up, and no sooner than the words had come out of my mouth, they were telling me that the driver was headed back to my workplace.....with the salad. I was lured here by Untapped (the craft beer app) who claims it as a a certified venue. The bruschetta is more of a weird chunky salsa with too much of the wrong ingredients; like olives. If you want a bar to drink and try new craft beers, try somewhere else. If you want your "weird place" fix, try it. You can't deny the beer, which is the only reason they have 3 instead of 2 stars. This place is soooooo unique. Very eclectic! The facility looks like it was repurposed from a barn house. There's a cute little patio as you walk through the front door. They've even got a little lounge area with some classic games near by. That's right pizza, drinks and connect four or uno! Approaching the register you see a long menu plastered on the wall. Above the menu, they've got a visual representation of how big an entire pie is, 14", and a slice, 1/4 of the entire pizza or about 2 regular sized slices. Pretty good options to choose from. Monday-Thursday the have speciality slices for $4 (see my pictures to see the choices). They also have a "Lunch Bundle" which comes with a slice of pizza + salad + drink. If you look at the menu, there are four pizzas that have a low and high price. The high price is the entire pizza and the low is for the slice. Those four pizzas (Pepperoni, Meaty Meat, Four Cheese and Wild Mushroom) are the only ones they serve by the slice daily, unless on the "daily slice special" for Monday-Thursday. I ordered the Lunch Bundle with wild mushroom and added a slice of four cheese. Salad dressings were plentiful. A lot of different vinaigrettes like red wine and balsamic plus other common ones. I was given a long list of options to choose from drinks. Not once did my server mention any juice and only had unsweetened tea. I got vitamin water after asking if they had juice and the answer was no. After getting to the table my lunch partner had lemonade :/ other than that my customer service was impeccable and the server was super knowledgeable. The bar had plenty of beers and wine options to choose from (see pictures for specials). I couldn't give this place 5 stars only because the pizza was just okay. I came for the pizza and I expect damn good pizza. This hurt! I had fallen in love with everything but the food. They use fresh ingredients but there was hardly any sauce. The crust was thin but bland, very much like the toppings. I love fresh ingredients but I find it more and more common that people don't season because they want to keep the freshness of the ingredients and preserve the taste of the others. I get it, I really do. I love the fresh approach but sometimes, somethings need extra flavor. Let it be the crust, sauce or choosing some of the toppings to season and not all. This was the same for all 3 pizzas I tried. The pepperoni was the best (ordered by my lunch partner). The pepperoni is a really good example of a fresh ingredient. Pepperoni doesn't require additional seasoning and it made the other flavors (with no seasoning) good. The wild mushroom was okay. The cheese was my biggest problem. It looked like they did layers of cheese and then at the end took the last cheese and topped it as a garnish, so it wasn't melted. There was so much cheese sitting on top of each other it didn't even do the cheese separating, just homogenized. I could only imagine a killer sauce or crust to take this pizza to the next level!
