My parents have had deliveries from here a few times , My mom has had the spaghetti which she said was not too good. No seasoning to the sauce. The pizzas she would always get a suppreme and it comes with sausage. She does not like the sausage they use which is the little balls. She would take it off the pizza. She was told by someone that if requested they would put sliced sausage on instead of the one they use. So we decided to go in. You have to order at the register, they don't wait on the tables. So we sat looking the menu over. Very limited to choices and the pizza menu very confusing on how much you pay for the pizza. You pick crust, sauce and cheese and any toppings which 14" would have been $20 something . Unless you pick a 14" and it's a set price. So asking the guy at the counter that my Mom don't like the sausage on the supreme he said " We can leave it off" Why would you pay for something if your not getting it? He said they only had link sausage for dinners not the pizza. The inside was very small dining area and very plain. We ended up deciding to leave since they don't do the link sausage only the ball one which my mom said is usually grizzly and not good . Would not recommend going here it's not authentic Italian food if that's what your looking for. You can not smell anything cooking which is not a good sign either. All of them had mushrooms so we called back to talk to them about it and a manager named Amanda sat there and argued with us for 10 minutes about the situation. She pulled up the order history for several years to see if we have ever ordered spaghetti with no mushrooms just to prove us wrong. Never said sorry for the mix up. We spent 80 dollars and expect to get what we ordered. Not the wrong thing and then an argument and a manager saying we're lying and that they trust their servers more than their customers. I have been a Socio's customer for well over a decade. Tonight my wife ordered a delivery order for us and they told us 45 minutes. At the one hour mark, a driver pulled and came up to our door with an order still in the warming bag, handed me the receipt and as I filled it out she let out an audible "oh" I thought at first she was going to say something about the 5 tip but then she said that she screwed up and gave our order to someone else and would need to go back and get it remade. I told her I was not doing that and asked her to wait there while I called to make sure they cancelled the order. She did and I called. A young woman picked up the phone and asked to place me on hold. I told her I was standing there with her driver and needed to speak to a manager. She asked me what the problem was and I explained it and asked that the order be cancelled. She said I needed to speak to a manager and placed me on hold. A male voice picked up almost immediately and asked how he could help me. I explained the situation to him and he said I needed to talk to a manager and he placed me on hold. The original woman's voice then picked up the phone again and asked me how she could help me. I said I needed to talk to a manager you keep placing me on hold and then picking up. She then asked me again what was wrong, I explained and told her I was getting irritated and wanted to talk with a manager right away. She then said " I am just a server there is nothing I can do." I said "find me a manager I can speak with now, I am getting pissed going back and forth." She then said "fuck you" and hung up on me. I was livid. As I called back 3 times to no one answering and then getting a busy signal. I then called and a woman picked up and said she was the owner. I told her what happened. At first she said her employees have the right to hang up if someone is aggressive with them. I told her I was not aggressive but I was very irritated with all of this. I was not going to pay for or wait for her to make the order again. Which was her solution. I told her I was done and explained I may have allowed her to make the order again but after what her employee did I would never have another pizza from there again and her excuse was that "they are just kids" and I should cut her some slack and not blast her business or take my business elsewhere because of that. She asked me to find the middle ground and let them remake the order and bring it out. That pizza does not and will not ever make up for what her server did tonight and I have had my very last Socio's pizza ever. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. read more

The prices are reasonable, even better if you order for pick up or delivery. We ordered some jalepeño poppers and they tasted fine, but some were still cold. So that was disappointing. We've been ordering from Socios for many years. We've recommended them for years. Tonight I ordered a carry out. Got there about 10 min early so I went in to pay. After paying I told them I would be waiting in my car - the only vehicle in the lot - directly in front of the building, since there was nowhere to sit inside. The guy at the counter said OK. I went out and waited. And waited. 15 min later I went back inside to ask if my food was up yet. He turned to the rack behind him and said Yes. It's right here. When I asked why they didn't wave at me to let me know it was ready, he just stared at me. Pizza was cold when I got home. Too many options in town to pay someone who doesn't care if they serve their customers to not. I'll "bother" someone else with my business. The hubs and I had a favorite pizza joint here on the ES for a long time until it moved over to Mobile. Socios reminds me a lot of that place. It's small, simple, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. For that reason, we had high expectations of the place and it definitely met those expectations. My hubs had the spaghetti and meatballs, which was spaghetti and sauce covered with cheese and had three humongous meatballs on top. It came with delicious homemade breadsticks and I helped him devour those. Of course, we share our food. The meatballs were incredible too. I ordered the lasagna and it was equally spectacular. It had the perfect amounts of pasta, meat, sauce and cheese. I'm often disappointed when ordering lasagna in a restaurant but that was certainly not the case there. I can't remember what our total bill was to the dollar, but I believe it was somewhere around $25. I do remember it was one of the better and less expensive meals we've enjoyed in a long time. Unfortunately they do suffer from the same issue that most pizza places on our area suffer. Not enough cook time on the crust. The crust isn't crispy on the bottom and tasted a little doughy. If not for that it would have been 5 out of 5. So get you pizza to go and put it in the oven to crisp up the crust and you have a great pizza. read more
