We have been happy customers of Socio's Pizza for years. We ordered 3 pizzas from Socio's yesterday, a Saturday night and were very disturbed by what we found in our pizza. It was two families and multiple kids eating so we basically ate in shifts. While the fist batch of folks were eating, one of the kids found two hairs in her pizza. When the moms made it back to the house, the finding of hairs was not mentioned and they got their pizza and also found hair in two of the three different pizzas. We aren't talking one hair, we are talking at least 5 hairs of different kinds in the pizza. Long hair, short dog looking hair, one that looked like a beard hair. Beware, something is going on there and I'm not sure we'll ever trust them enough to eat their food again. So sad, because we love their pizza! I called back and spoke with the manager and she was forthcoming with a full refund and offered to remake the pizzas. At that point, we weren't very hungry. Posting the pics I took (most of the hairs were thrown out before thinking to take a pic). The manager assured me she would be speaking with the owner about the situation. read more

I have been coming here since moving to Milton in 2017. Pizza, stromboli, and sandwiches were excellent up until about a year ago when they started skimping on cheese on pizza, size of sandwiches and stromboli. Last time I came in, I ordered a stromboli (large) so I could share with Hubby. This was smaller than a small!! I received no dipping sauce....unless I wanted to Pay extra for it! Took it home and had to cook anyway as this was at best a childs portion! Lost a weekly customer, and I am sure I am not the only one. read more

Decided to try out a new pizza place for dinner this weekend. I really wanted to try a deep dish pizza for the first time. We ordered a Lrg deep dish cheeseburger pizza, a thin half and half speciality pizza, some lasagna and 2 cannolis. With their Lrg speciality pizza deal, the lasagna and the cannolis it all came to around $44.00. Everything was pipping hot, fresh and tasted amazing! Definitely quality product and the staff are super patient and nice. I'd definitely go back and I'd definitely recommend this pizza place to family, friend's and strangers. read more

Amazing pizza and great customer service. We ordered the Tex-mex breadsticks and the meatball pizza. Both were delicious. Support local businesses. They had storm damage from this past tropical storm but made sure to get up and running ASAP. Really enjoyed our food! Our first time coming, placed a to-go order: large pepperoni and pineapple pizza, double order of breadsticks, jalapeño poppers, baked ziti, and chicken parmesan. It was all ready in about 20 mins, and came in just over $40. The good: pizza and breadsticks were shockingly good! The dough was some of the best I've had, and the sauce complimented it perfectly. I'll ask for extra sauce next time, but that's just because I love a good saucey pizza. The breadsticks were a great consistency with garlic and Parmesan on top, again great with the marinara sauce! The bad: jalapeño poppers- not the worst I've had, but I won't order them again. I doubt they were made in-house, they were just pretty unremarkable. Can't quite pass judgment on the pastas. They were good with their sauce, but didn't compare to the pizza. I think this is definitely a pizza joint, and should be what they're judged on. Will continue to try their food in the future and am interested in their specialty pizzas! read more

It had been a while since I'd been here, and I've been telling people good things about the place for a while, so I stopped in today for lunch. I got there right at 11:30. I ordered fairly promptly, asking for the spaghetti lunch special, which comes with a side salad. I was the only customer in the place at the time. It took over 20 minutes for my food to arrive, and I never got my salad, nor did I get a single refill on my Diet Coke. My food was barely above room temperature and I had an inch of water in the bottom of my small spaghetti bowl. That was a $9 lunch "special," without a tip. But, of course, I did leave a $2 tip, because that's how I roll. But I won't roll that way again anytime soon. What a disappointment. read more

Well I ordered a Caesar salad and eggplant parmigiana. This food was Italian in name only. Croutons in the salad were soft and tasted greasy. Not crisp and flavorful. Eggplant parmigiana was an embarrassment. The eggplant was mushy watery unpeeled. The breading feel off into the pasta mixing with a very canned tasting red sauce. The menu offers a number of familiar tempting Italian dishes. How nice that menu could be with a trained cook or Chef offering fresh classical preparations. I offer these comments not to seem overly critical but, being a classically trained certified executive Chef, I've cooked there menu for many years and truth is clean fresh bold flavors and proper technique Italian cuisine is not difficult and very profitable when done right. I can tell the linguini was not finished in the sauce. It was free of any sauce clinging to the pasta. Service was excellent atmosphere very nice. Now get a trained cook. read more

We've been enjoying Socio's pizza for about 20 of the last 21+ years we have ordered pizza from them. It's probably 300 to 400 pies. We ordered the Meatsa a couple of days ago and sadly noticed again what we had been complaining about to ourselves for the last year or so; the pizza is just not as good as it was for many years. The toppings and the cheese seem to have gotten skimpier and skimpier. I can remember when the ingredients would really cover the pizza and as for asking for extra cheese, we would just to be told,"you don't need extra cheese" and they would be right! For years I would compare any other pizza we happen to get to Socio's. Not any more! In my wife's and my opinion; Socio's isn't much better than Marco's, Li'l Caesar's, Papa John's or even "Hungry Howie's or Domino's. We still eat Socio's Pies, just not as often. For the money and over-all taste I just as soon have a Domino's. I was going to rate only 2-stars but out of deference and the years when it was much better, I gave it 3-stars. I really hope the owner reads this, takes it to heart and take action so Socio's can regain it's old glory of being #1. read more
